Watch Out America!

This week we have had the opportunity to view a nest of lies spewed forth out of the Democratic Convention.  Today I received a weekly update from Bill Koening and he has told the truth. America must beware of spin and lies as we approach this November election. I think before I cast my vote I will flash back to 911 and think of who I would rather be at the reigns of our great nation. May the Lord continue to grant us wisdom as we travel through these last days.

Talking Points -- Democrats Mask Extremism With Controlled Propaganda Plan; Exposed Deceptions Threaten To Unravel Presidential Bid

The identity of the Democrat Party was at stake this week at the Democratic National Convention. The media consultants found a little surprise in their polling data that indicated Americans would not vote for a presidential candidate espousing a radical leftist view of abortion rights, homosexual marriage, anti-war, soft on terrorism and hard on men and women of faith.

So they did what any self-respecting political spin doctor would do—they crafted a propaganda campaign like none seen since Hitler’s Third Reich. The Democrats took a hard right turn and reinvented their party for nationwide prime time consumption. Gone were the shrill references to the likeable President George W. Bush that he betrayed the country and lied and made up the reasons for war in Iraq. Gone were the radical feminists screaming about having the right to kill their unborn. The homosexual advocates were locked back in the closet for the week, and the American Civil Liberties Union attack on religion in America was swept under the rug.

In a very carefully managed public relations display, the Democratic National Convention played like a heartland America town meeting held at the local Baptist Church. It all looked pretty good. The right words were said. Chords were struck with the American people. The only problem was that it was a propaganda effort based on lies.

When the balloons settled and the floor demonstrations stopped and the flags and signs put away, we have to ask if the real Democrat Party would stand up. But to the discerning ear and eye, all you had to do was listen to the words that were spoken to understand there is a hard-core agenda to turn the United States of America into a West European Socialist nation by the most liberal presidential ticket in the history of the country.

Presidential nominee John F. Kerry spent over 50 minutes addressing the American people in his acceptance speech. He spent a lot of time trying to convince the people, and possibly himself, that he was as good as if not better than the current president when it comes to national defense and foreign policy. His experience as a Vietnam veteran, as a leader, as an experienced consensus builder among nations…and on and on. But the actual lie is in the truth that he has been a part of weakening our national defenses since he returned from Vietnam. His consensus building consists of yielding to the United Nations, on which he has been clear from the beginning of his campaign.

But the most sinister revelation at the convention was the hydrant spewing forth code words that the Democrats want a socialist secular nation. Former President Clinton, in the only truthful moment of his crowd-pleasing speech said that Democrats and Republicans hold very different views of how to meet America's challenges at home and abroad.  He said, "We Democrats want to build a world and an America of shared responsibilities and shared benefits. We want a world with more global cooperation where we act alone only when we absolutely have to."  Mr. Clinton zeroed in on the basic political tenet of the Democrat Party--that a socialist government should empower the people and that the U.S. government should be a part of a larger one-world order.

Teresa Heinz Kerry, in arguably the most bizarre political speech in history, underscored the secular when delivering the crowning statement of her speech, "Today, the better angels of our nature are just waiting to be summoned. We only require a leader who is willing to call on them, a leader willing to draw again on the mystic chords of our national memory and remind us of all that we, as a people, everyday leaders, can do; of all that we as a nation stand for and of all the immense possibility that still lies ahead. I think I've found just the guy. I'm married to him."

Calling on angels of our nature...drawing on mystic chords of our national memory?  Is this how Mrs. Kerry runs the Heinz Foundation, where she has given millions to leftist organizations?  One such group is the League of Conservation Voters, a radical environmental group that has run commercials against President George W. Bush, where, in essence, Mrs. Kerry paid for the attack ads against her husband's opponent.  Another group Mrs. Kerry gives money to is the Tides Foundation, a socialist oriented donor to organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations, whose leadership has had direct ties with the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah.

A class act, Elizabeth and John Edwards took the high road in the presentation of their vision of America. Still, Mr. Edwards danced upon the floor of socialism. Mr. Edwards stirred the crowd with a "Hope Is On The Way" theme to an America united.  He painted a vision of a strong "One America" where there is no difference between the schools, the healthcare, the childcare, the benefits, the jobs, and the opportunities afforded the wealthy and the rest of America.  He said that those hard working people still in poverty are doing their part and that the government should do its part. He said that the Kerry Administration would destroy terrorists and build a stronger military.  John Edwards would make even conservatives believe in the Democrat Party...until they realized what he was really saying.

John Edwards was saying that he wanted a society where there is no wealthy or poor--everybody is on the same level.  He said he wanted to reward work not wealth.  He said that the Kerry team would pay for this new society by taxing the rich--a clear intention to redistribute wealth.  John Edwards was painting the picture of a socialist nation, strong because of its government, not because of the rugged individualism of its people, its families, its faith in God.  If anything, this Democratic National Convention has tried to reach out to mainstream America, but it cannot shake the strong socialist leanings of the most liberal Presidential ticket in the history of the United States.

The Democrats bet the farm that the American people would swallow hook, line and sinker the enticing lie of socialism wrapped in fine words and images. But it is all just window dressing. Even the Spielberg-esque movie of Mr. Kerry’s Vietnam experiences shown at the convention had reenactments…the young John Kerry made the home movies to promote imagery that he was a hero, but some of the images taken under his direction during his four month tour in Vietnam, were staged. Draped in the campaign-theme rhetoric of “Take America Back,” the Kerry-Edwards campaign smacks of a bait and switch play for snookering Americans into accepting socialism where everybody is equal, except some are more equal than others. We must not only hear what Mr. Kerry says, but even more importantly, watch what he does and has done.

Insider’s Take: These are very dangerous people. We must remember that no matter how much the spin artists conjure up a centrist illusion of the Democrat Party, in reality it stands on a platform of extremist support for abortion on demand, radical homosexuality in civil unions and same sex marriages, and human secularism.  The Apostle Paul writes in II Timothy 3 that men shall be lovers of their own selves without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, traitors, and high-minded, "Having the form of godliness, but denying the power thereof."  And he warns, "from such turn away."  Weigh all things, discern all things against the word of God as "evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."  No matter how alluring the draw, remember to whom you belong.

Impact Segment — Undocumented Muslims Stream Across U.S.-Mexican Boarder; Prophecies of Jeremiah Coming To Pass?
The Muslim Population in the United States is unknown, but estimates range from 600,000 to six million. Muslim clerics estimate the number on the high end. They should know because they are dealing every day in their respective Muslim communities. Others estimate the number closer to two million.
The number of Muslims entering the U.S. is also a guess at best. But the number of people crossing the Mexican boarder with the U.S. illegally who are of Middle Eastern descent alarms boarder police. These are people of whom we have no idea whether they are friend or foe, are members of terrorist cells or are just looking for a job.
The prophecies of Jeremiah 50-51 speak of a land called Babylon that has a lot of similarities to the U.S. It describes Babylon as the least of nations; a nation that has contended against the Lord; a nation of mixed peoples; a land of carved images; and has powerful seaports. The U.S. is the youngest superpower; it has allowed the removal of the Lord from public places; is often called the “melting pot” for its diverse population; is known for its idols; and has powerful seaports.
The Lord tells Jeremiah in 51:14, “Surely I will fill you with men as with locusts, and they shall lift up a shout against you.” Locust in Hebrew means “Arab.” And considering that the Bible is full of types and shadows, could it be that the Muslim population explosion in the U.S. will lead to an eventual overthrow of the country or attacks from within the nation that render it desolate and impotent as a world power? This possibility is something that most do not want to consider, especially those running the Federal government, but the entire situation bears consideration, serious consideration.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is concerned about attacks within the U.S. from sleeper cells of Muslim extremists. But the federal government downplays a future significant onslaught of Muslims against the nation because it considers them law-abiding citizens. However, even the leadership of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which has ties to the terrorist organization Hamas, has said Muslims should take over the United States.

And what of the hundreds, perhaps thousands of Muslims entering the U.S. from its porous boarders? The Arizona Tombstone Tumbleweed newspaper reported during the week of July 18, the presence of Arab-speaking males amid the waves of illegals recently captured. The article is based on separate, first-hand interviews with three U.S. government agents who confirmed that males of possible Syrian and Iranian descent have been detained in the past few weeks.

A Border Patrol spokesman confirmed that since October 1, 2003, 5,510 illegal aliens designated as "Other Than Mexican" (OTM) have been apprehended while crossing the rugged terrain in southern Arizona. The term actually means "other than Mexico or other central and South American countries," the spokesman said. Border Patrol spokesman Andy Adame declined to say what countries the OTM illegals are from, although he admitted detainees include "people from all over the world." Adame added, "We apprehend them, process them, and turn them over to [the U.S. Department of] Homeland Security and the FBI and that is all I can say." 

According to the Tombstone newspaper, on June 13, 2004, Border Patrol agents from the Wilcox, Arizona, patrol station encountered a large group of illegal border crossers in the Chiricaucha Mountain foothills, just east of what is known as The Sanders Ranch. Agents estimated that the group comprised about 100 people. Border Patrol sources who were present at this mass apprehension state that they seized 71 illegal aliens, of whom 53 were males of Middle Eastern decent. The suspects clearly were speaking through an air vent in the transport vehicle. 

Border Patrol sources, at the risk of being in violation of orders and losing their jobs, offered a subsequent chilling revelation. On June 21, 2004, they and their colleagues from the Wilcox Border Patrol station apprehended another 24 Arabic-speaking males in the area of Pierce/Sunsites. These small towns are approximately 25 miles northeast of Tombstone and not far from the Chiricaucha foothills.  Even more worrisome, the agents say, is that the 24 men who were seized were only part of a larger group. At least half of the group apparently escaped capture and remain on the loose in the United States.

Meantime, the Federal government on July 24 reached an agreement with Russia to relocate some 7,000 Ahiska Muslims as U.S. citizens in the Philadelphia area near a mosque. Seems as though Russia would not let them become citizens and the refugees wanted to come to America. Little is known about this group, but that they practice the Sunni brand of Islam, which is one of the conservative sects that is fighting on the wrong side of the war on terror. The Ahiska Muslims are displaced from as far back as the Ottoman Empire and Russia wants to get rid of them. Turkey, where they originate, apparently doesn’t want them. Enter America who wants to improve relations with Turkey and Russia, who is at war with Muslim extremists who practice the Sunni customs.

Insider’s Take: The rising tide of Islam is alarming. Yes, many are peaceful. But for how long? The Koran requires Muslim believers to hunt down and kill infidels, that is, anyone who does not accept Islam. Jesus said in Matthew 24:10, “Then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.” And Genesis 16:11, 12 says, “And the angel of the Lord said unto her, behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Ishmael is the father of the Arabs, the locusts who are at war with the world. These prophecies are being fulfilled before our very eyes. The hand of judgment is stayed by a praying Christian nation. But if immorality continues in the form of homosexuality, abortion, taking God from the public square and more, judgment can swiftly fall and there are an estimated six million Muslims in the United States who may be happy to assist.

I grew up in Southern Arizona sixty miles from the Mexican border. My father’s cotton and wheat farm was within a few miles of a large Indian reservation that bordered Mexico. Mexicans would come through the reservation frequently looking for work. The very long Mexico/U.S. and Canadian/U.S. borders are very porous so you can’t completely close them off. The federal government announced recently they plan to use Israeli designed drones to help monitor the borders, however, there still are not enough Border Patrol people to stop the traffic.

As we have seen in Israel, the United States, Kenya, Iraq, Bali, Turkey, Indonesia, and other nations that have been targets of terror a few people can create a lot of havoc and public fear. We know the United States is and will remain a target for radical Muslims. Today in Washington D.C. and many other U.S. cities, there are already many Middle Eastern people living in the United States. Many of the taxi drivers, operating in our major U.S. cities are Muslims who tend to be very angry people. Today they are an internal and external security threat. A major terror event or a suicide bombing in America would shake our country to its core. We can only hope and pray that the Lord will intercede, our homeland security comes from the Lord, but as I have stated many times before if we continue to apply pressure on Israel to divide her covenant land, the United States and the international community will continue to experience further judgment for their role in Israel’s internal affairs. Just this week Al Qaeda stated brashly that Europe was a terror target and there will be much blood spilled there, this was stated the very same week E.U. spokesman Javier Solana stated during his trip to Israel whether they [Israel] &ldquolike it or not,” the E.U. was going to be actively involved in the Middle East peace process.

I guess with John Kerry's choice of John Edwards as his running mate, he really does want to stand up for all Americans, from those worth only $60 million to those worth in excess of $800 million.

In one of the many stratagems Democrats have developed to avoid telling people what they believe, all Edwards wants to talk about is his cracker-barrel humble origins story. We're supposed to swoon over his "life story," as the flacks say, which apparently consists of the amazing fact that ... his father was a millworker!


That's right up there with "Clinton's stepdad was a drunk" and "Ted Kennedy's dad was a womanizing bootlegger" on my inspirational life-stories meter. In fact, I'm immediately renouncing my university degrees and going to work for the post office just to give my future children a shot at having a "life story," should they decide to run for president someday.

What is so amazing about Edwards' father being a millworker? That's at least an honorable occupation – as opposed to being a trial lawyer. True, Edwards made more money than his father did. I assume strippers make more money than their alcoholic fathers who abandoned them did, too. This isn't a story of progress; it's a story of devolution.

Despite the overwrought claims of Edwards' dazzling legal skills, winning jury verdicts in personal injury cases has nothing to do with legal talent and everything to do with getting the right cases – unless "talent" is taken to mean "having absolutely no shame." Edwards specialized in babies with cerebral palsy whom he claimed would have been spared the affliction if only the doctors had immediately performed Caesarean sections.

As a result of such lawsuits, there are now more than four times as many Caesarean sections as there were in 1970. But curiously, there has been no change in the rate of babies born with cerebral palsy. As the New York Times reported: "Studies indicate that in most cases, the disorder is caused by fetal brain injury long before labor begins." All those Caesareans have, however, increased the mother's risk of death, hemorrhage, infection, pulmonary embolism and Mendelson's syndrome.

In addition, the "little guys" Edwards claims to represent are having a lot more trouble finding doctors to deliver their babies these days as obstetricians leave the practice rather than pay malpractice insurance in excess of $100,000 a year.

In one of Edwards' silver-tongued arguments to the jury on behalf of a girl born with cerebral palsy, he claimed he was channeling the unborn baby girl, Jennifer Campbell, who was speaking to the jurors through him:

"She said at 3, 'I'm fine.' She said at 4, 'I'm having a little trouble, but I'm doing OK.' Five, she said, 'I'm having problems.' At 5:30, she said, 'I need out.'"

She's saying, "My lawyer needs a new Jaguar ... "

"She speaks to you through me and I have to tell you right now – I didn't plan to talk about this – right now I feel her. I feel her presence. She's inside me, and she's talking to you."

Well, tell her to pipe down, would you? I'm trying to hear the evidence in a malpractice lawsuit.

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde on the death of Little Nell, one must have a heart of stone to read this without laughing. What is this guy, a tent-show preacher? An off-the-strip Las Vegas lounge psychic couldn't get away with this routine.

Is Edwards able to channel any children right before an abortionist's fork is plunged into their tiny skulls? Why can't he hear those babies saying, "Let me live! Stop spraying this saline solution all over me!" Edwards must experience interference in channeling the voices of babies about to be aborted. Their liberal mothers' hands seem to muffle those voices.

And may we ask what the pre-born Jennifer Campbell thinks about war with Iraq? North Korea? Marginal tax rates? If Miss Cleo here is going to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, I think the voters are entitled to know that.

While making himself fabulously rich by taking a one-third cut of his multimillion-dollar verdicts coaxed out of juries with junk science and maudlin performances, Edwards has the audacity to claim, "I was more than just their lawyer; I cared about them. Their cause was my cause."

If he cared so deeply, how about keeping just 10 percent of the multimillion-dollar jury awards, rather than a third? In fact, as long as these Democrats are so eager to raise the taxes of "the rich," how about a 90 percent tax on contingency fees?

For someone who didn't care about the money, it's interesting that Edwards avoided cases in which the baby died during delivery. Evidently, jury awards average only about $500,000 when the babies die, and there is no disabled child to parade before the jury.

Edwards was one of the leading opponents of a bill in the North Carolina Legislature that would have established a fund for all babies born with cerebral palsy. So instead of all disabled babies in North Carolina being compensated equitably, only a few will win the jury lottery – one-third of which will go to trial lawyers like Edwards, who insists he doesn't care about the money.

Despite the now-disproved junk science theory about C-sections preventing cerebral palsy that Edwards peddled in the channeling case, the jury awarded Edwards' client a record-breaking $6.5 million. This is the essence of the modern Democratic Party, polished to perfection by Bill Clinton: They are willing to insult the intelligence of 49 percent of the people if they think they can fool 51 percent of the people.

So while Michael Moore, Al Franken, George Soros, Crazy Al Gore and the rest of the characters from the climactic devil-worshipping scene in "Rosemary's Baby" provide the muscle for the Kerry campaign, Kerry picks a pretty-boy milquetoast as his running mate, narrowly edging out a puppy for the spot. Just don't ask the Democrats what they believe. Edwards' father was a millworker, and that's all you need to know.

The Great Falling Away Is In Full Swing Now!

Good Morning Everyone.

I have been waiting for the right article to bring to you on this blog site. Well, this morning I found it! The scripture above says it all as far as what we are seeing happen in many of todays churches. The "Great Falling Away" is happining at an even greater intensity than one could imagine and this article made me almost ill at the way these translators brutalize the truth of scripture. These people refuse to reverence Holy Scripture and as result they will face the judgement of Almighty God. The last chapter in the book says it all:

Revelation 22
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

What is a Christian to do in light of what many denominations are doing? I will let Gods Word answer that question. It is found in the Book of Second Corinthians.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.


No longer can we trust tradition or sentimental memories to decide where we worship the Lord. If a church is going along with type of thing or many of the other abominations active today, we need to find a church where the Word of God is revered and the truth is being preached.

"The new version, which Dr. Williams says he hopes will spread 'in epidemic profusion through religious and irreligious alike', turns St. Paul's strictures against fornication on their head," adds the Times.

The One organization that produced the new Bible translation is dedicated to "establish[ing] peace, justice, dignity and rights for all." It is also focused on "sustainable use of the earth's resources," challenging "oppression, injustice, exclusion and discrimination" as well as accepting "one another, valuing their diversity and experience."

According to Ekklesia, a London-based "theological think tank" that supports the "One" translation:


The translation is pioneering in its accessibility, and changes the original Greek and Hebrew nomenclature into modern nicknames. St. Peter becomes "Rocky," Mary Magdalene becomes "Maggie," Aaron becomes "Ron," Andronicus becomes "Andy" and Barabbas becomes "Barry."
In keeping with the times, translator Henson deftly translates "demon possession" as "mental illness" and "Son of Man," the expression Jesus frequently used to describe himself, as "the Complete Person." In addition, parables are rendered as "riddles," baptize is to "dip" in water, salvation becomes "healing" or "completeness" and Heaven becomes "the world beyond time and space."

Here's how Williams, the top Anglican archbishop, describes the new Bible: "Instead of being taken into a specialized religious frame of reference – as happens even with the most conscientious of formal modern translations – and being given a gospel addressed to specialized concerns … we have here a vehicle for thinking and worshipping that is fully earthed, recognizably about our humanity."

In addition, notes Ekklesia, the archbishop praises Henson's translation for eliminating "the stale, the technical, the unconsciously exclusive words and policies" in other translations.

Here, according to the London Times, are a few sample passages:

Mark 1:4

Authorized version: "John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins."

New: "John, nicknamed 'The Dipper,' was 'The Voice.' He was in the desert, inviting people to be dipped, to show they were determined to change their ways and wanted to be forgiven."

Mark 1:10-11

Authorized version: "And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him. And there came a voice from the heaven saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

New: "As he was climbing up the bank again, the sun shone through a gap in the clouds. At the same time a pigeon flew down and perched on him. Jesus took this as a sign that God's spirit was with him. A voice from overhead was heard saying, 'That's my boy! You're doing fine!'"

Matthew 23:25

Authorized version: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!"

New version: "Take a running jump, Holy Joes, humbugs!"

Matthew 26:69-70

Authorized version: "Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, 'Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.' But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest."

I have to say a word about the loss of our great President. Ronald Reagan. Never before did I feel as safe as when he was our President. I am so thrilled to know that he knew the Lord as Personal Savior. He is now with the Lord and I believe he has heard the above Scripture loud and clear. I also bet my Dad was at the Gates to welcome him home. My Dad was very ill with cancer when Mr Reagan was nominated as President but he had been at the the convention in the 60's when Reagan lost that first bid to run as President. Daddy thought so much of this man and I know he is probably visiting with him as I write this article. At least I would like to think so!

Behind The Scenes With Five Months To Go, So Who’s It Going To Be: Kerry or Bush?

The polls are calling it a statistical dead heat five months out. Americans seem divided between the embattled President they know and the challenger who wants to be all things to all people. As the election draws near, political pundits are perplexed as to who will eventually occupy the most powerful position in the world—President of The United States of America.


The candidates are at the opposite ends of the political spectrum. There are international forces who wish to destroy the country for its Judeo-Christian roots and there are those from within who wish to eliminate the nation’s Judeo-Christian values and legal system. This election, unlike any before it, is a battle for the very soul of America.

National Security On The Voter’s Scales

Irrespective of the end vote, this election promises to be a referendum on not only the President and his policies, but also about the foreign policy of preemption versus globalism. Never before has one election underscored so succinctly the chasm differences between the candidates regarding foreign policy, despite analysts who insist there are only subtle differences between the candidates. While differences may be nuance, the devil is in the details, as they say.


Democrat challenger Senator John F. Kerry, who would take a decisive turn toward internationalism, would rely on the United Nations and international policing efforts to battle the war on terror. The significance of such a move has far reaching consequences…the least of which is that U.S. national security will become a responsibility shared with the global community, much like that of the Clinton Administration.


President George W. Bush has taken heat from the media and leaders on both sides of the political aisle for his policy of preemption. His “either you are for us or against us” no holds barred stand against terrorism has offended the world community, especially those countries such as France, Russia, China and Germany who have and have had secret multibillion dollar deals with terrorist states. Nevertheless, this national defense plan has focused the war on terror on the Iraqi front where al Qaeda terrorists are pouring in from Iran, Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan to fight the “great American satan.” Critics aside, this policy has taken the war to the terrorists and has made them fight in the Middle East deserts rather than in the streets of major U.S. cities.


Those interested in the security of the nation may make a very simple decision in the voting booth: Find the candidate that is supported by terrorists and their allies, and vote for the other guy. Here, the nod goes to Bush.


Domestic Social Civil War

While the United States is leading a global war against terrorism abroad, there is a deep and venomous civil war raging domestically. The candidates severely differ on their approach toward the social nation America.


The nation has marched toward a secular humanist society where traditional values are an unprotected endangered species—and this phenomenon has exponentially increased under the watch of a very publicly Christian president. The leftist juggernaut of activist judges in league with socialist civil rights groups has cornered traditional values at the slaughterhouse gate. The overwhelming majority of Americans (over 60% in all polls), however, are against court decisions to remove the Ten Commandments from the public square, to remove acknowledgement of God in the Pledge of Allegiance, and to legalize homosexual marriage. A slight majority (51%) is against abortion on demand and an overwhelming majority (up to 85% in some polls) is against partial birth abortion.


Yet President Bush, with the majority opinion of Americans with him, has not succeeded in slowing the hemorrhage of bleeding hearts sweeping the nation’s morals down the river Humanism. But Americans know that Kerry, the most liberal in the Senate, would only open the floodgates full throttle.

Jobs may become an issue if the economy continues to improve statistically and the unemployed in Ohio, Wisconsin and California continue jobless through September. No presidential candidate on recent record has lost Ohio and won the White House. Workplace opportunities continue to improve, a slight edge to Bush, otherwise a Kerry neutralizer.


Now For The Strategy…

The Kerry campaign suffers from having a boring, arrogant candidate that is not very likeable and has the most liberal voting record in the Senate. They have bet the farm on portraying the candidate as a highly decorated Vietnam veteran who stands up for what he believes.


Kerry, however, has taken a shelling for his anti-War, pro-communist post-war stances, especially from those who served with him in Southeast Asia. Citing Senate hearings where Kerry condemned fellow soldiers as war criminals, veterans are circulating pictures of Kerry shaking hands with communist dictator Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua fame. And it was recently revealed that Kerry’s mug has a place of honor in the Vietnam War Museum—the museum in Ho Chi Minh City that honors Vietnam war protesters where a 1993 photograph features Senator Kerry shaking hands with the general secretary of the Communist Party, Comrade Do Muoi.


Kerry’s strategy has to attempt to focus Americans on the Bush record, the administration’s perceived failings in prosecuting the war in Iraq and the falling popularity of America among so-called allies. Kerry has benefited from an unprecedented hostile media onslaught against the President, but even so, after six months of harsh media criticism of the war, polls show only a statistical dead heat. The Kerry camp must be elated on one hand that a double-digit Bush free-fall has precipitated without spending a lot of campaign cash. On the other hand, however, Kerry’s crew must be perplexed as to why the Massachusetts liberal hasn’t captured a commanding lead. Their only choice is to go negative and hope that international events give them aid and comfort in the eyes of Americans.


President Bush's re-election strategists plan to portray the November election as the first since the Reagan era to offer voters a stark choice between liberalism and conservatism, and they have the money to do it. The Bush campaign has demonstrated unique nimbleness in responding to Kerry and media charges, turning out commercials and placing buys in areas of demographic significance within 24 hours. This has kept the embattled president on even ground despite the negative attacks.


Key will be the battleground states, the top ten with the most Electoral Votes:1. California (55) 2. Texas (34) 3. New York (31) 4. Florida (27) 5. Illinois (21) 6. Pennsylvania (21) 7. Ohio (20) 8. Michigan (17) 9. New Jersey (15), and 10. Georgia (15). The Bush campaign is encouraged that polls indicate the President is holding his own in these states, despite his popularity falling on a national scale. Important to the campaign will be the get out to vote strategy and Republicans say they have been working hard since the 2000 election. The closeness of the 2000 race caused the Republican Party to begin an ambitious, nationwide return to shoe-leather politics. The Bush campaign has assembled an army of volunteers that swung into action months before the Kerry campaign.

Insider’s Take: Insiders are saying if Bush loses another 7% in the polls he can't win. Additionally, an incumbent in the approval range of 45% to 50% is in a danger zone. I have also been told Kerry finishes strong in races. Former Clinton Campaign Guru Dick Morris says Kerry is a weak candidate, and the Bush team is very strong; quick to jump on Kerry's errors. Trump cards: Terror attack in the U.S. and potential problems for Bush if he pushes too hard on Israel. Economic gains could be hammered by oil prices and/or a major terror event. Warren Buffet is very concerned by aggressive derivative trading. Bush's base, while somewhat put off by some of the President’s domestic policies, has a tradition of voting and will remain loyal to the President, as he is the only game in town. The Democrats out number the Republicans (about 43% to 40%) and will need to get the vote out. Secular media, Hollywood and George Soros and friends have Bush in their crosshairs. The world media and many world leaders do not like Bush because they perceive him as arrogant, not falling into line with the world community, and showing too much Texas cowboy bravado in persecuting the war on terror.

If Bush is elected things will be somewhat status quo. If Kerry is elected judgment will fall on America. Prediction Five Months Out: It’s hard to win against an incumbent during wartime.

Well here we go again with the leftist Socialist in our government. Jack Kinsella exposes what they plan to do with "our kids" (not theirs).

Perilous times are upon us and our only hope is in the Lord. I have been saying for weeks that this war was not only in the physical realm but in the spiritual also. This new scandal reveals the truth of this matter. The same prison that Sadaam used to torture and kill has been used by some of our people for evil. Perhaps the "Demonic Prince of Persia found in the Book of Daniel" has had something to do with this. I believe we need to seriously and continuously pray for our troops in that ungodly land!

A bill co-sponsored by NY Democrat Charlie Rangel and Nebraska Republican Chuck Hagel seeks to reinstate the draft that was phased out following the Vietnam War in favor of the current, all-volunteer military force.


In a New York Times Op-Ed on Dec. 31, 2002, NY Democrat Charlie Rangel said, "If we are going to send our children to war, the governing principle must be that of shared sacrifice."
Nebraska's Chuck Hegel echoed Rangel's sentiments, asking rhetorically, "Why shouldn't we ask all of our citizens to bear some responsibility and pay some price?"
Hagel argues that conscription would force "our citizens to understand the intensity and depth of challenges we face."

Rangel likewise claimed the U.S. would be less likely to go to war if soldiers were drafted rather than adequately paid.

Hagel says we need a draft so "the privileged, the rich," as well as the less affluent bear the burden of fighting wars.

Rangel's bill would require "that all young persons in the United States, including women, perform a period of military service or a period of civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, and for other purposes."

In other words, the bill mandates a period of involuntary servitude for a select group of young people COMPELLED to do whatever the government decides.

It always fascinates me to hear terms like 'our children' as if they were somehow the property of the state to do with as 'we' will. Following that line of reasoning, wars are declared by their parents -- why don't THEY go fight them?

Charley Rangel won't have to worry about being drafted into the military just as he is beginning the toughest phase of any person's life -- the transistion from adolescent to adult. Chuck Hegel has had thirty years or more to make the adjustment -- maybe he forgot what it was like.

It's hard to be eighteen.

It is even harder if, in addition to all the other burdens that come with that tender age, one has to consider being impressed into involuntary servitude -- UNNECESSARY involuntary servitute -- by virtue of no other criteria than being eighteen?

The Pentagon isn't asking for more troops. Most military units are meeting their recruiting and re-enlistment quotas. There is no need to force unwilling Americans to 'share' the burden -- especially since the burden is imposed exclusively on America's youth.

Rangel's bill is co-sponsored by Democratic Reps. Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, Corrine Brown of Florida, William Clay of Missouri, John Conyers Jr. of Michigan, Elijah Cummings of Maryland, Alcee Hastings of Florida, John Lewis of Georgia, Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, Jim McDermott of Washington state, James Moran of Virginia, Pete Stark of California, Nydia Velazquez of New York and Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton of the District of Columbia.

Isn't it fascinating that it is the most liberal wing of the Congress that wants to reimpose what they fought so bitterly against during the Vietnam War? Why would anybody want to dismember America's professional force of volunteers in favor of inducting and training unwilling warriors?

It reveals the core principles behind liberal thinking -- the use of class warfare to promote collectivism. Liberals expect the state to meet their every need. It is an interesting irony that the loudest liberal instigators of class warfare are themselves rich -- something that embarrasses them ALMOST enough for them to give away all their money. Almost.

Listen to Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Charley Rangel, etc., etc., as they rail against 'tax cuts for the rich' and ensuring 'the rich' share the burden of military service, as if, in a VOLUNTEER military, somehow, they don't.

Even as a youth, John Kerry was rich. So was John Kennedy. Pat Tillman walked AWAY from riches. Bill Clinton, on the other hand, was poor. (Who doesn't fit in the above group of veterans?)

Because being embarrassed about being rich isn't quite enough for liberals to give away their own money, they salve their consciences by giving away yours. All the while convincing you that the rich guys are getting a free ride on your dime.

This same principle of class warfare and collectivism is behind the push to reinstate the draft.

America doesn't need the draft to maintain its military readiness -- in fact, conscription would drive military readiness down. By the time a draftee was adequately trained to serve in a 21st century, highly technical military force, his two years would be up.

The agenda isn't to 'share the burden' among rich and poor. It is to create a new dragon for them to slay down the road. If they can successfully push through a new conscription, they will automatically create an army of anti-warriors out of the unwilling draftees, their families and their friends.

Then guys like Charley Rangel and John Kerry can join hands, marching at the front of a column of anti-war demonstrators, singing 'Kumbaya' and chanting 'I have a dream' and tapping into America's national discontent to get votes -- you know, just like in the old days.

A successful and victorious America doesn't need liberals to protect them. Which is why they want to bring back the draft, end the war, talk down any economic recovery and write op-ed columns in the New York Times about American 'arrogance' for not surrendering US national interests to the UN.

The United States gives out $13.3 billion tax dollars in direct Foreign
Aid annually. The United States is above and beyond the single most generous benefactor of the United Nations, donating $2.4 billion dollars of YOUR money, to primarily third-world dictators.

This amount is 25% of the United Nations budget. In addition, the United States also gives another $1.4 billion tax dollars to United Nations' programs and agencies. The American taxpayers fund more for the United Nations than ALL of the other 177 member nations COMBINED.

What most Americans do not realize is that the vast majority of the
recipients of the of US Foreign Aid routinely vote against the wishes of
the United States in the United Nations at an average rate of 74%. In other words, of the $13.3 billion tax dollars invested in direct Foreign Aid only about 26% or $3.5 billion went to support people who endorsed American initiatives or causes.



In addition, a staggering $9.8 billion tax dollars went to
causes and people who were and are in open and direct opposition to the United States' interests and objectives.

Q: Which party took Social Security from an independent fund and
put it in the general fund so that Congress could spend it?

A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratic-controlled House and
Senate.

A: The Democratic Party with Al Gore casting the deciding vote.
