Good Morning All!
What an article! Do you realize that the temple has to be rebuilt in order for the Antichrist to desecrate it at the 31/2 year period of the tribulation. This is really one article to think about. Praise the Lord that we are seeing His Prophetic Word coming true daily. He is coming again soon! Are you ready?

When Israel's chief rabbis meet Pope John Paul II today, they will seek permission to search Vatican storerooms for artifacts such as the huge golden menorah that stood in the Temple in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago.
Vatican officials confirmed to the Associated Press the meeting would take place but declined comment on the rabbis' request.
Yehuda Metzger and Shlomo Amar are to have an audience with Pope John Paul, the first by Israel's chief rabbis in the Vatican. The pope met Israel's previous chief rabbis during his visit in 2000.
Amar, spiritual leader of Israel's Jews of North African origin, told Israeli army radio that when he received the invitation, he brought up the issue of the artifacts.
"The truth is I asked them, I could not resist," he said. "I asked them about the Temple vessels and the menorah."
When the Romans sacked Jerusalem in AD 70, they took Temple treasures with them. Legend has it that religious articles from the Temple, including the menorah, were among them. Amar said the Vatican has already denied the menorah is there.
The Arch of Titus in Rome depicts victorious Roman legions marching off with the seven-branch menorah in hand.
"My heart tells me this is not the truth, but that it is some kind of camouflage," Amar said.
An aide to the rabbi said the Vatican was not likely to permit a search. The Vatican will allow the rabbis to view rare Jewish manuscripts in its possession, Amar said. He said if the rabbis were to come across "other objects," they would be happy to bring them home.
The Maariv newspaper in Israel said the two rabbis could also seek to buy back a candelabrum that came from the Temple. It is believed to be held in the Vatican's vast treasure caves.
The menorah was the most important symbol of the Temple after the Ark of the Covenant. The image of the biblical menorah is the symbol of the modern state of Israel.
Some Orthodox Jews believe the restoration of the menorah and other holy vessels to Jerusalem would be the first step in rebuilding the Temple, whose site is now occupied by the Al Aqsa Mosque, a Muslim shrine.
According to other press reports, the pontiff could proclaim an annual day dedicated to Judaism, in a fresh effort to further reconcile Jews and Christians.
In 1996, in the face of criticism and skepticism, Israeli Religious Affairs Minister Shimon Shetreet requested of the pope that an official inquiry be conducted to determine if the legendary golden menorah from the Second Temple is hidden in the Vatican.
Shetreet claimed to have evidence the menorah was there, though he refused to disclose it. He did say he had statements of people who claimed to have had discussions with previous popes, who indicated that the Catholic Church indeed did have such objects.

Happy New Year From The State of Georgia!
I hope all of your celebrations at Christmas and for the New Year were wonderful.
I have been waiting and praying for the right posting for the New Year and today I found it! Many of us are going through or are going to go through trials this year. None of us know what 2004 will bring but there is one thing I am certain of. God never changes and He will stand by his children and protect them through all circumstances. God loves you and me in a way we will never understand fully until we get to heaven. That love never fails and if we know His Son as Savior then we are His child and He will never forsake us.
Our nation is going to go through perilous times and I fear it is drifting farther and farther away from the Lord. We boast that we are a Christian nation and yet Witchcraft, Homosexuality, New Age Religions and Atheism are moving into every aspect of our life. Government takeover of our freedoms is occuring at every turn and it seems as if most of the people, are asleep. What is even more tragic is that they do not want to be awakened to the truth. That is why I posted the above scripture. It is sad that Sampson never even realized the Lord and His power had departed. That is what has happened in our country and sadly, in many of our churches. I fear unless we have a revival and place God and His authority back over us then our nation is doomed just like Sampson. However if we turn from our wicked ways he will deliver us once again.
For now I pray these words by the famous Charles Hadden Spurgeon will bless you. Print them off and when you are going through trials take them out and read them again. Also take courage from God's precious word, the Bible. It is a living book and it will see you through every situation. That is a promise! From Him!!!

He said He would not go through the wilderness before His people, an angel should go before them to lead them in the way; but Moses said, "If Thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence." Christian, God has not left you in your earthly pilgrimage to an angel's guidance: He Himself leads the van.
"You may not see the cloudy, fiery pillar, but Jehovah will never forsake you. Notice the word shall--"The Lord shall guide thee." How certain this makes it! How sure it is that God will not forsake us! His precious "shalls" and "wills" are better than men's oaths. "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Then observe the adverb continually. We are not merely to be guided sometimes, but we are to have a perpetual monitor; not occasionally to be left to our own understanding, and so to wander, but we are continually to hear the guiding voice of the Great Shepherd; and if we follow close at His heels, we shall not err, but be led by a right way to a city to dwell in.
If you have to change your position in life; if you have to emigrate to distant shores; if it should happen that you are cast into poverty, or uplifted suddenly into a more responsible position than the one you now occupy; if you are thrown among strangers, or cast among foes, yet tremble not, for "the Lord shall guide thee continually." There are no dilemmas out of which you shall not be delivered if you live near to God, and your heart be kept warm with holy love. He goes not amiss who goes in the company of God. I would like to take this time to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I am so greatful that we celebrate this birthday!. Because of the Lord, we have hope and peace in the midst of all of the trials and tribulations of this life. I really do not know how people survive without knowing the peace and assurance that our blessed Savior gives to those who have placed their trust in Him.
I look forward to the New Year and all it holds for us as Christians. The Lord will not forsake us as we stand for truth. May we all be bold and unafraid to take a stand for the truth and proudly proclaim to the world that Jesus Christ is Lord!.

Hello everyone. Can you believe it? Next Thursday is Christmas. Our country sure does like the money this holiday produces for business. If only there was a way they could figure out how to do away with the name the holiday celebrates! I hope you all have not been drawn into the Happy Holiday phrase and you wish folks a "Merry Christmas" with pride! The name of Jesus is really bugging some people and it is not a suprise in these last days.
The article posted today from World Net Daily is right on with the sentiment of the times. However, the scripture for today says it all!
Merry Christmas Everyone and perhaps soon we will get to meet the wonderful Saviour for whom the holiday is named.

If Jesus is the Prince of Peace, why does hell break loose at the mention of his name?
With food-fight intensity, comments fly at the A&W Restaurant in Colorado's mountain town of Frisco. Restaurant owners Donna and Reuben Drebenstedt post scripture and the name "Jesus" along with menu items on their outside sign, to the consternation of a few complaining patrons.
What are they thinking? Every hostess knows any dinner-table banter about "Jesus" means instant indigestion, scuttling hopes for a peaceful repast.
While indignant customers caterwaul about the restaurant's alleged religious impropriety, the Anti-Defamation League demands that A&W's Scripture and "Jesus" disappear.
The friendly proselytizing must somehow constitute anti-Semitism?
Parent company, Yum! Brands Inc., stews over customer fallout and requests the restaurant's religious overtones be excised. Yum! also owns the Pizza Hut and Taco Bell names. No doubt they dread that other religiously minded franchisers might dish up Praise-Jesus pizza or Bible burritos.

The name "Jesus" has mixed it up since day one. Herod the Great was so peeved at his appearing that he ordered all little boys of similar age be killed, hoping the dragnet would eliminate Jesus.
Merchandisers play it safe this time of year substituting "Happy Holidays" for "Merry Christmas" – a silent acknowledgement that the "Christ" in "Christmas" offends enough shoppers to merit his omission.
Public-school holiday celebrations sidestep the potential for constitutional bickering and pretend inclusiveness with Kwanza, Hanukkah and Santa. Excluded is Jesus, an incendiary subject in public education.
Jesus landed New York kindergartener, Antonio Peck, in Dutch. His environment poster, which portrayed people picking up litter and children holding hands around the globe, included a kneeling Jesus in the corner. Before displaying his drawing with 80 others, teachers at Baldwinsville Elementary in Syracuse singled out Antonio's poster, folded the corner, thereby hiding Jesus and obscuring the youngster's name.
Last week an appellate court judge ruled that Antonio's First Amendment freedom-of-speech lawsuit against the district be set for trial.
The word "Jesus" has prompted both criminality and unlimited philanthropy. Charles Manson convinced followers that he was Jesus and thus worthy of blind allegiance. Crusaders slaughtered their way across Europe and into the Holy Land in the name of Jesus. Yet, universities, missions, hospitals, soup kitchens and refugee programs are still launched in his name.
"Jesus" elicits steadfast loyalty. "Foxe's Book of Martyrs" details the deaths of men, women and children who often died viciously violent deaths for refusing to renounce the name.
"Jesus" even penetrates mental perplexities. I recall the account of a young agnostic traveling in Southeast Asia, who found himself alone with a catatonic man. Neither medicine nor psychiatry had stirred the poor fellow from his silent state.
The visitor decided to experiment, having heard the name "Jesus" could churn up a pronounced reaction.
"Buddha!" he blurted, then, "Mohammed! Vishnu!" No response. When he whispered "Jesus," the man became severely agitated and pounced on him. A local pastor intervened and, moments later, the same name "Jesus" – used in prayer – thoroughly delivered the man from his oblivion.
If the word "Jesus" sets your teeth on edge or threatens gastronomic distress, skip Frisco's A&W Restaurant. The Drebenstedts are unlikely to erase Scripture and Jesus from their sign any time soon. Royalties are faithfully paid to Yum! Brands Inc. and the Frisco eatery is a "high-producing store for the corporation," says Reuben.
Plus, they are Messianic Jews, Jews who embrace Jesus as the promised Messiah.
Reuben and Donna reflect the tenacious faith of early Apostles, those first-century Jewish believers who didn't duck, but rather utilized controversy to proclaim the name of Jesus. And change the world.
The article posted today from World Net Daily is right on with the sentiment of the times. However, the scripture for today says it all!

If Jesus is the Prince of Peace, why does hell break loose at the mention of his name?
With food-fight intensity, comments fly at the A&W Restaurant in Colorado's mountain town of Frisco. Restaurant owners Donna and Reuben Drebenstedt post scripture and the name "Jesus" along with menu items on their outside sign, to the consternation of a few complaining patrons.
What are they thinking? Every hostess knows any dinner-table banter about "Jesus" means instant indigestion, scuttling hopes for a peaceful repast.
While indignant customers caterwaul about the restaurant's alleged religious impropriety, the Anti-Defamation League demands that A&W's Scripture and "Jesus" disappear.
The friendly proselytizing must somehow constitute anti-Semitism?
Parent company, Yum! Brands Inc., stews over customer fallout and requests the restaurant's religious overtones be excised. Yum! also owns the Pizza Hut and Taco Bell names. No doubt they dread that other religiously minded franchisers might dish up Praise-Jesus pizza or Bible burritos.

Today I found an article at World Net Daily that was utterly fascinating and right on target with what we are seeing happen in the world. Some have criticized Tolkein and the Lord of the Ring movies and I think that perhaps because of how the movie glorifies the occult they have an argument. However ,Tolkein was led to the Lord by C.S. Lewis and I think some similarities can be drawn from the story to good triumphing over evil and the greed of man.
What we need to realize today is that we need hope and if we look in the Bible we find that our hope rest in the Lord. No matter what is happening in our lives God is in control and he is going to bring this present evil age and the evil one to an aburpt end. Praise the Lord! We may suffer in this present world but this world is not our home and I think our homegoing in the Rapture is near. Get ready for an exciting experience. Make sure you and your family know the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior and nothing man can do to you or me will matter. Then remember that nothing can happen to us as children of the living God that he does not allow (note I did not say cause). I pray this Christmas and the celebration of our Saviour's birth is special in light of all the prophetic scripture that is being fulfilled. Just as the Prophets told the world that He would be born in Bethlehem, Gods Word reminds us that He is Coming Again!

THE TIME OF THE ELVES IS OVER!

There comes a moment in J.R.R. Tolkien's epic Lord of the Rings when the Elvish leadership recognizes they can no longer restrain the growth of evil. The conversation moments before between Elrond and his daughter Arwen makes clear that the elves understand all too well the curse of immortality lived out in a fallen world:
Elrond: "Whether by the sword or the slow decay of time, Aragorn (Arwen's lover of the race of men) will die. And there will be no comfort for you. No comfort to ease the pain of his passing. He will come to death. An image of the splendor of the kings of men in glory, undimmed before the breaking of the world. But you, my daughter, you will linger on in darkness and in doubt. As night falling winter has come without a star. Here you will dwell, bound to your grief, under the fading trees, until all the world has changed and the long years of your life are utterly spent."
Evil is a subject that our postmodern world is ill-equipped to understand, let alone deal with. That is why evil is growing stronger. Worse, it seems the more "educated" we are, the less likely we will understand the nature and power of evil. Our most educated imagine that racism, sexism or a disproportionate number of blacks in major universities is unrestrained evil. In that sense, quite an education lies ahead of us.
Our modern world has seen outbreaks of evil. Stalin, Hitler, Mao – all were men who perpetrated great evil among their own people, and against humanity in general. Each did so to make the world a better place. (Please reread this last sentence until you comprehend what it means.) Yet such outbreaks of evil have always been restrained and eventually overcome, albeit at a tremendous cost in human suffering.
In popular culture, men and women are not alone, but are from time to time assisted against evil and personal catastrophe by spiritual beings who can and do assume human form. Both popular culture and the Bible refer to these being as angels. There are problems, to be sure. Angels are often represented as female, perhaps because our culture still associates the feminine with nurturing and comfort. Yet the Bible describes angels as "ministering spirits" (Heb 1:14) sent to help mankind, although it more often depicts them as masculine, and organized militarily. "But the angel of the kingdom of Persia put himself against me for 21 days; but Michael, one of the chief angels, came to my help" (Daniel 10:13).
So today I find myself wondering: Will God's angelic army always be around to restrain evil? Or will they, like Tolkien's Elves, someday depart? And if they do, what will happen to humanity? The book of Revelation describes a time when evil is unrestrained on the Earth:
The Beast had a loud mouth, boastful and blasphemous. It could do anything it wanted for 42 months. It yelled blasphemies against God, blasphemed his Name, blasphemed his Church, especially those already dwelling with God in Heaven. It was permitted to make war on God's holy people and conquer them. It held absolute sway over all tribes and peoples, tongues and races. Everyone on earth whose name was not written from the world's foundation in the slaughtered Lamb's Book of Life will worship the Beast.
– Rev. 13:5-8
The age of the elves and the angels is perilously close to an end. You may know it as the "age of grace" or the Church age. When that time comes, God's restraint of and patience with evil will finally have become exhausted. When confronted with God's demands for righteous leadership, a world that can agree on nothing else will suddenly agree on one thing: Jesus is not going to assume any throne on this earth.
I saw the Beast and, assembled with him, earth's kings and their armies, ready to make war against the One on the horse and his army. The Beast was taken, and with him, his puppet, the False Prophet, who used signs to dazzle and deceive those who had taken the mark of the Beast and worshiped his image. They were thrown alive, those two, into Lake of Fire and Brimstone. The rest were killed by the sword of the One on the horse, the sword that comes from his mouth. All the birds held a feast on their flesh.
– Rev. 19:17-21
God intends to restore humanity to its pre-fallen condition. To do so requires the permanent destruction of evil and its adherents, lest eternity become corrupted and turn into hell for all. The age of the elves is nearly over.

Hello everyone. Today I have little to comment on because I think that Hal Lindsey says it all in his column from World Net Daily. Let us be bold in our faith and in this spiritual battle for America. May God give us the strength and wisdom to recognize and know when we are in a battle with Satan blinded souls and stand for truth no matter the cost.
America was founded as a Christian nation no matter what the enemy has done to pervert her and the church is still present in our country and can at anytime rise up to be the salt and light to this dying nation. It is not going to be easy but with God all things are possible. Have a blessed day.

Though it has been said many times – much more eloquently than I can say it – America's first foundational premise is that there is a Creator-God, and it is this Creator-God who alone gives mankind his rights, not human government. Governments that grant them (Such as the United Nations) can also take them away. But God-given rights take precedence over any government. This is the entire basis of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.
This is why our founding fathers made such statements as the following:
We have no government armed with the power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion ... Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

It can not be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the light of our history and founding principles, how dare such cursed organizations as the ACLU pretend to represent the meaning of the U.S. Constitution or interpret its intent.
Religion, particularly Christianity, is not only embedded in our founding documents, but also established by consistent historical profession by our government institutions.
Even the current decisions of our Supreme Court on the myth of separation of Church and State are clearly out of step with the established historical views of the Supreme Court. Most of the current Supreme Court justices are not interpreting law, but seeking to rewrite our most sacred and important foundational premise of law – that they issue from our Creator-God, to whom virtually all of our great leaders of the past appealed publicly.
Why is it that George Washington instituted a day of Thanksgiving to God?
Why is it that the U.S. Congress in 1895 passed the law to have "In God We Trust" placed on all our currency"?
Why is it that it is written over the entrance of the Supreme Court building, "In God We Trust"?
Why has it been from the beginning that presidents and other national and state leaders are sworn in with their hand on the Christian Bible"? Why do they close the oath with, "So help me God"?
The latest obscenity that has been attempted by a small minority of anti-God citizens – with the help of the ACLU's continued crusade to stamp out all public expression of faith in God – is a situation in North Carolina and Georgia. Grieving families of loved ones killed in automobile crashes place crosses along the highways at the place where they were killed.
The anti-God group is protesting that placing a cross on government owned right of way constitutes a violation of the "separation of Church and State."
What is next for these people? Will they go to government cemeteries for our military, such as Arlington National Cemetery, and demand that all crosses be removed from the graves of our fallen heroes?
What is it going to take for the vast majority of God-fearing Americans to wake up and say, "Enough is enough"? We need to make it known loudly and clearly, religion is our foundational heritage. If you want to live here, welcome. But if you want to remove the very thing without which our great country will self-destruct, Get out!
As the second U.S. president, John Adams, clearly warned: "... Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
The fact that there has been a calamitous decline of both of the above in our nation is the reason we are having so much trouble trying to govern these days. It is the reason our courts are overloaded and jails overcrowded.
Wake up Americans. God is giving us His last warnings. Return to the founding principles of our forefathers before there is nothing to salvage.
Note from me: These statements sure put a different light on what the ACLU and the atheist in this nation are trying to do. May the Lord rebuke them in their blasphemous assaults on our country and bring their evil plans to naught!!!

Though it has been said many times – much more eloquently than I can say it – America's first foundational premise is that there is a Creator-God, and it is this Creator-God who alone gives mankind his rights, not human government. Governments that grant them (Such as the United Nations) can also take them away. But God-given rights take precedence over any government. This is the entire basis of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.
This is why our founding fathers made such statements as the following:
We have no government armed with the power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion ... Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

It can not be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the light of our history and founding principles, how dare such cursed organizations as the ACLU pretend to represent the meaning of the U.S. Constitution or interpret its intent.
Religion, particularly Christianity, is not only embedded in our founding documents, but also established by consistent historical profession by our government institutions.
Even the current decisions of our Supreme Court on the myth of separation of Church and State are clearly out of step with the established historical views of the Supreme Court. Most of the current Supreme Court justices are not interpreting law, but seeking to rewrite our most sacred and important foundational premise of law – that they issue from our Creator-God, to whom virtually all of our great leaders of the past appealed publicly.
Why is it that George Washington instituted a day of Thanksgiving to God?
Why is it that the U.S. Congress in 1895 passed the law to have "In God We Trust" placed on all our currency"?
Why is it that it is written over the entrance of the Supreme Court building, "In God We Trust"?
Why has it been from the beginning that presidents and other national and state leaders are sworn in with their hand on the Christian Bible"? Why do they close the oath with, "So help me God"?
The latest obscenity that has been attempted by a small minority of anti-God citizens – with the help of the ACLU's continued crusade to stamp out all public expression of faith in God – is a situation in North Carolina and Georgia. Grieving families of loved ones killed in automobile crashes place crosses along the highways at the place where they were killed.
The anti-God group is protesting that placing a cross on government owned right of way constitutes a violation of the "separation of Church and State."
What is next for these people? Will they go to government cemeteries for our military, such as Arlington National Cemetery, and demand that all crosses be removed from the graves of our fallen heroes?
What is it going to take for the vast majority of God-fearing Americans to wake up and say, "Enough is enough"? We need to make it known loudly and clearly, religion is our foundational heritage. If you want to live here, welcome. But if you want to remove the very thing without which our great country will self-destruct, Get out!
As the second U.S. president, John Adams, clearly warned: "... Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
The fact that there has been a calamitous decline of both of the above in our nation is the reason we are having so much trouble trying to govern these days. It is the reason our courts are overloaded and jails overcrowded.
Wake up Americans. God is giving us His last warnings. Return to the founding principles of our forefathers before there is nothing to salvage.
Note from me: These statements sure put a different light on what the ACLU and the atheist in this nation are trying to do. May the Lord rebuke them in their blasphemous assaults on our country and bring their evil plans to naught!!!
