Zechariah 12
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

Good Morning Everyone!

Well today I was going to post an article on taxes but I will save that for tomorrow. I will include in that article information on how a judge is banning books in America. Today, I must post one more article on the war, Israel and Bible Prophecy. This article today in the World Net Daily blew me away. Remember how we spoke of the danger in giving away Gods Covenant Lands and how the US has joined with the EU, Britain and Russia ( the Quartet) in deciding what will happen to Israel and the Palestinians? Well the Iraq war has brought out some comments from Ariel Sharon that shocked me. The pressure is on to give away lands that God gave to Israel. This is significant in light of scripture. I have always believed we need to keep our eyes on Israel and Jerusalem. This is where we will see the final end to this corrupt World System we live in.

How can civilized people insist that Israel make agreements with a group of people whose primary goal is her destruction. If history is any teacher, just consider how the world tried to appease Hitler and how the UN tried to appease Iraq for the last 12 years! Truly the historical and prophetical significance of these moves to give away Covenant Land is pointing toward the culmination of this age and return of our Lord. Just remember once again that the church must be out of here for that 7 year period called the Tribulation before he stands on the Mount of Olives. At this Easter Season as we celebrate his Death, Burial and Resurrection it is breathtaking to realize that we are closer to that Blessed Appearing than ever before. Won't it be a wonderful day when we meet Him face to face and see our Lord put evil down once and for all!

Have a blessed week.

Sharon: Israel May Concede Settlements

World Net Daily

YEHUD, Israel, April 13 (UPI)

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has said he is ready to "part with some places" if the Palestinians scaled down on their demands, including the right of return for refugees.

In an interview to the Haaretz newspaper published Sunday, Sharon said the U.S.-led coalition's victory in Iraq had "generated a shock through the Middle East" that could precipitate Israeli-Arab peace agreements. The coalition's achievement "brings with it a prospect of great changes," he said.

"There is an opportunity here to forge a different relationship between us and the Arab states, and between us and the Palestinians....

"Opportunities have currently been created that did not exist before. The Arab world in general, and the Palestinians in particular, have been shaken. There is therefore a chance to reach an agreement faster than people think," he said.

So far, Sharon has been very careful not to discuss concessions he would make for peace with the Palestinians. He had persistently refused to go beyond expressions of readiness to make "painful concessions" for peace.

"Isn't that phrase 'painful concessions' a hollow expression?" the Haaretz interviewer asked.

"Definitely not. It comes from the depth of my soul," Sharon responded. "We are talking about the cradle of the Jewish people. Our whole history is bound up with these places. Bethlehem, Shiloh, Beit El. And I know that we will have to part with some of these places.

"There will be a parting from places that are connected to the whole course of our history. As a Jew, this agonizes me. But I have decided to make every effort to reach a settlement. I feel that the rational necessity to reach a settlement is overcoming my feelings."

Israel has retained control over Rachel's Tomb in northern Bethlehem, virtually annexing it to Jerusalem. It built settlements in Beit El (Beth-El) and Shilo that figure prominently in ancient Jewish history.

Sharon said some reservations concern security matters. "How terror will be handled. There is no difference of opinion in this matter but there is a difference in the wording," he told Haaretz.

The second key issue, according to Sharon, concerns implementation of the roadmap.

"Our understanding with the United States is that there will be no transition from one stage to the next without the completion of the previous stage. The determining factor is not the timetable but the execution," he said.

The third reservation concerns the Palestinians' demand that their millions of refugees have a right of return to Israel proper. Israel opposes it. It says that if the refugees return to the Jewish state, it will no longer be Jewish.

"If there is ever to be an end to the conflict the Palestinians must recognize the Jewish people's right to a homeland and the existence of an independent Jewish state in the homeland of the Jewish people. ... This is not a simple thing. Even in the agreements we signed with Egypt and Jordan this was impossible. That is why they did bring about an end to the conflict. They are important agreements, very important, but they did not bring about an end to the conflict. The end of the conflict will come only with the arrival of the recognition of the Jewish people's right to its homeland," Sharon stressed.

He sought to postpone discussion of the settlement issue to "the final stage of negotiations ....We don't have to deal with it just now," he told Haaretz.

Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom who held a joint news conference with visiting Slovak Foreign Minister Eduard Kukan in Yehud, near Tel Aviv, said he anticipated "a new atmosphere that we think will help us try to resume negotiations with the Palestinians."

He noted that CIA chief George Tenet and retired Gen. Anthony Zinni presented security plans "that are acceptable to us and the Palestinians. I very much hope that the (sides) will act to implement them."

He said Israel would not give the Palestinians much of what they hope to get "without them explicitly foregoing the right of return."

But he avoided backing Sharon's comments in the interview, noting the matter would come before the entire Cabinet where a decision "binding all the components in the Cabinet" will be taken.

Sharon's talk of readiness to cede at least some of these sites sent shock waves through hawkish political groups.

Minister without portfolio, Uzi Landau, also of the Likud, criticized the roadmap as "not a map for peace but for a confrontation."

Tourism Minister Benny Elon of the hardline National Union said Israel's stay in the West Bank towns of Jenin aned Nasblus is "not temporary. God willing we shall return to all of the Land of Israel. ... I am in the Cabinet to fight for my views and positions."

The settlers' top forum, the Yesha Council slammed Sharon for being ready "to expel Jews from their homes."

Dovish leaders were cautious.

"Nobody knows for sure what Sharon's real intentions are," the head of the dovish Meretz Party, Yossi Sarid said.

No settlement outpost would have been established without Sharon's encouragement, he added.

However, "Mr. Sharon is not ready to lend his hand to any effort to evacuate these settlements that were illegally established...These are the real, determining factors, by which one should judge statements, not by an interview," he argued.

Ophir Pines, the secretary-general of the opposition Labor Party, Israel's second-biggest party, said he did not believe Israel would return to the negotiating table as long as Sharon's hawkish coalition partners are at the Cabinet table.

If Sharon will be "really ready to resume the historic negotiations for peace on the basis of the American political plan and his right wing partners ...will quit the government, and he will come to us (and ask that we join him), only irresponsible people will slam the door in his face," Pines said.

Meanwhile, senior government officials led by the head of Sharon's Bureau, Dov Weissglass, arrived in Washington with a list of 14 or 15 "reservations" over the projected roadmap for peace that the United States has devised with the European Union, the United Nations and Russia. The United States plans to present the roadmap when Mahmoud Abbas (better known as Abu Mazen) is confirmed as the new Palestinian prime minister. Abu Mazen is now trying to form a Cabinet.

The roadmap outlines a series of steps each side should take so that Israel would have the peace and security it seeks and the Palestinians a state.

Weissglas is scheduled to present the "reservations" to U.S. national security adviser Condoleezza Rice, Monday.

Luke 21
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

REMEMBER TO PRAY DAILY FOR OUR LEADERS AND TROOPS!

Good Morning Everyone.
What a world we are living in! What a time to be a Christian and to be priviliged to see Gods Prophetic Word unfolding daily. Our country is in Ancient Babylon! We are in the region where God tells us it is all going to come to an end. All I can say is that we need to watch the nations alignment now in light of what the scriptures tell us. Remember, that Russia (Rosh) in Daniel is to form a northern federation with the Arabs, Gomer(Germany) and Torgamah (Turkey). This federation is to move against Gods People of the Covenant Land and attack Israel. It is at this time, they will face total destruction at the hand of the God of the Bible! All of these events occur during the 7 year tribulation and for that time to begin, true believers in Jesus Christ have to be gone!

Joseph Farah, in a new article explains why we must go after Syria next. This is an interesting fact because what I see developing here is a long time presence of American Troops in the Middle East. God has put us there for a reason and it will be interesting to watch future events unfold. This is where we need to keep watch as new issues develop daily over there. Take a look and Think About It. We are closer now than we have ever been to meeting our Lord in the air! Perhaps Today!

God Bless
Elaine

THE JOB IS NOT FINISHED!
By Joseph Farah
WorldNetDaily.Com

Why are we in Iraq today?

Because we didn't finish the job we started in 1991.

The objectives of the first Persian Gulf War were limited by the first President Bush's desire to bring together a large coalition of forces committed solely to chasing Iraqi forces from Kuwait.

Once that goal was accomplished, the U.S. didn't have the stomach, the will nor the support of its Arab allies to remove from power the man who ordered the invasion of Kuwait – Saddam Hussein.

It's important we don't call it quits in the region 12 years later until the job is finished.

What is the job?

The job should be destroying the terrorist infrastructure in the Middle East.

That means toppling regimes in Syria and Iraq – by any means necessary.

The logical next phase of this war should be to shift attention to Syria. Damascus not only supports terrorism, it is still at this very moment supporting Saddam Hussein's falling regime. It has been the No. 1 conduit of illegal weapons to Iraq.

Further, Syria is the only country in the Middle East actively occupying a neighboring country – just like Saddam Hussein did in 1991. That little neighbor is Lebanon – one of the few countries in the region that actually has a history of constitutional, republican-style government.

Why Syria and not Iran? Because Iran has domestic problems that could lead to the fall of the mullah regime at any moment. An invasion may not be necessary. But Syria is a second-generation, totalitarian police state. Uprisings are brutally crushed, and there is no chance of a popular rebellion. Thus, it will take outside force – the kind we are now employing in Iraq – to take down Damascus.

My G2 Bulletin was the first publication in the world to report Bush administration officials were actively considering such a plan. Now it's an open secret. The London Telegraph reported Syria was among the topics discussed by President Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair during their summit in Belfast this week.

"There's got to be a change in Syria," Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."

His remark followed the March 29 threat by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld during a Pentagon briefing.

"And to Iraq's neighbor, Syria: We have information that shipments of military supplies have been crossing the border from Syria into Iraq, including night-vision goggles. These deliveries pose a direct threat to the lives of coalition forces. We consider such trafficking as hostile acts and will hold the Syrian government accountable for such shipments," Rumsfeld said.

Although left out of Bush's "axis-of-evil" illustration of countries harboring or sponsoring terrorists, Syria has gained increased scrutiny amid suspicions it allowed Hussein to transfer weapons of mass destruction across its border, allegations it supplied Iraq with illegal arms which are currently being used against coalition forces, and charges it and Iran have dispatched thousands of terrorists and suicide bombers into Iraq for attacks against coalition forces.

Syria was recently fingered as the middle man that provided GPS-jamming equipment made by a Russian firm in cooperation with the Russian military. In addition, Syria allowed the transfer of night-vision glasses to be used by Iraqi soldiers targeting American troops.

Another report suggests Syria recently also facilitated Baghdad's acquisition of 500 laser-guided anti-tank missiles from Russia.

There are also reports of Syria harboring Hussein's wife, Sajida – mother of Uday and Qusay.

Is it crazy to talk about extending the war in the Middle East? Recent history has shown us it may be crazy not to do so. Our troops are there now. We have made a huge commitment to one regime change. It won't be easy to do this again a year from now or 10 years from now.

There is no chance Syria will change its stripes without force. There is no chance Lebanon will be free without a regime change in Damascus. There is no chance we will wipe out the world's biggest terrorist base – in Lebanon – without targeting Syria.

Let's not leave the job unfinished again.

My Note: Get the feeling there are some teriffic battles going on in the heavenlies these days? Hmm.....

John3:16

Saturday, April 05, 2003

Acts 1:
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

How About Our Men And Women In Uniform.
I have never been so proud in all my life as I am this day to watch the men and women in our military carry on this battle against the vile evil that has been allowed to go on in Iraq. Just look at what our world leaders so lost in darkness have tolerated and allowed while posing as people with concern for the "poor" and the "downtrodden". I pray this very minute that our Lord will be close to each one in our military and give them saving grace and courage and fearless trust in HIm. I pray that he will go forth and set up a Standard against the evil they are fighting and grant us a Miraculous Victory against our enemy. Amen!

What whimps these world leaders are who allowed the torture and evil to be done that we are hearing about in Iraq. This is a picture of what the so called New World Order is really capable of. Look at France and Russia and Germany who have profited from this Evil Cabal in Iraq. Never before has truth shown out as it has in this day when a few countries defied the world and took a stand.. Now once again we are hated because we have forced a world hidden in darkness to face evil and admit it does exist.

I think of how my country has profited from slavery in China and has in the past supported Sadaam Hussein. Why we gave him monetary aid and war materials when he fought Iran. This I believe helped bring forth the bitter fruits we are now bearing for these dealings with the devil. God is not mocked and when you play with evil you will get burned. My dad used to put it like this, " You cannot lay down with the forces of evil and expect to win a victory for God".

The scripture in Acts today is one of my favorites and describes the reason we will see the world grow darker and darker until the Messiah comes. For the most part, Man today does not want the truth. He wants to be comfortable and left alone to do what is right in his own eyes. He wants the government to take care of everything. He does not want to include his Creator in his life or bother to give Our Heavenly Father the recognition or time He deserves. Man does not want true preachers of the Gospel to tell the truth and convict them of sin. Thus, this portion of scripture accurately describes the world we live in.

Now what does that have to do with the war?

Hal Lindsey today has posted an excellent article concerning Europe and her attitude toward America. Think about it and think about our world. The only hope is Jesus and it is up to people like me and you to be bold enough to tell people who don't want to hear the truth. May
God grant us the courage like our military to carry this message.

Have a blessed day and may our God Bless America and bring her once again to true revival.

Elaine Moreland

Europe's Anti-Christian AttitudeBy Hal Lindsey

Now I know the anti-Christian attitude of the ungrateful Europeans would not dare connect the answer to these questions to the influence of the prevailing Christian faith of the majority of Americans. But whether they like it or not, that is the basis of why we were willing to spill our blood and consume our resources in the pursuit of righting the aggressions that nearly destroyed and enslaved all of Europe.

It was the willingness to sacrifice in order to do the right thing – the determination to set people free and stamp out the forces of tyranny. Those actions did not come out of the natural selfishness of human nature, but from the influences of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible.

And now the majority of the Europeans we set free are upset by President Bush’s frequent references to God and faith – the very factors that motivated us to save them.

Just look at what was reported by Reuters, “The religious overtones in President Bush’s speeches increasingly grate on many ears in Europe, where leaders invoking God in times of war are widely suspect of misusing faith for political purposes. No less than the German president, French prime minister and Belgian foreign minister have joined religious leaders in expressing concern about Bush's beliefs and the place of religion in U.S. politics.”
It is my opinion that one of the reasons God allowed such terrible judgments to fall upon Europe is because of their perversion and rejection of true Christianity. The Theologians of Europe in the 18th century are the ones who began a sophisticated rejection of the Bible’s authenticity and authority.

They are the source of the so-called Liberal and Neo-Orthodox Theological movement. This God-cursed movement is based upon the rejection of the Bible as the literal and infallible Word of God. It is interesting that German Theologians began this insidious movement. I believe that this is the reason most Germans fell for the Godless teachings of Adolf Hitler and National Socialism. These teachings were based upon many occultic concepts, which a Bible believing Christian would have immediately recognized and rejected.

It is these apostate Protestant Religious leaders who are the source of the thinking expressed in this quote from Reuters, “Media commentators, especially in northern European countries with Protestant heritages, have branded Bush's evangelical views as Christian fundamentalism, with some even comparing them to the Islamic fundamentalism of Osama bin Laden.”

Christian Fundamentalism believes that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and should be believed literally, unless the context clearly indicates it is a parable or an allegory. Now if a Christian does that, he believes that we are to proclaim the good news of God’s salvation and forgiveness, purchased by Christ’s death for our sins. He believes that this is a gift and tries to get people to receive it – but not through violence. He believes that in inter-personal relationships, we should treat others, as we would have them treat us; that we should not represent the Gospel with violence.

But Christian Fundamentalist also believe Romans 13:1-10. This passage recognizes that there will always be those who are violent and seek to take the life, liberty and property of others. This applies to both person-to-person and nation-to-nation crimes. God tells us that He has established duly formed government to keep peace, security and order. To those who violate the law, the Bible warns, “For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, FOR HE DOES NOT BEAR THE SWORD FOR NOTHING. HE IS GOD'S SERVANT, AN AGENT OF WRATH TO BRING PUNISHMENT ON THE WRONGDOER. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.” (Romans 13:3-5 NIV)

Many of the first believers in Jesus Christ in the New Testament were Roman military officers and soldiers. They were never told to quit the military, but simply urged to do their duty honestly and justly. In the passage quoted above, it says that government agents such as policemen and soldiers do not bear the sword for nothing. Now you don’t spank people with swords. It is a symbol of deadly force.

This is why Christians have often been the best soldiers and policemen. They carry out their duty with faith and justice. King David was one of the greatest warriors to strap on a sword. David writes in the Psalms that it was God who taught his hands how to fight. God called him a man after His own heart. This is because David sought to fight in the will and purpose of God.

On the other hand, a Muslim Fundamentalist literally follows the Koran and the example of Mohammad. This teaches him to spread Islam with the sword. They are commanded to kill the infidel because he does not believe the Prophet Mohammad and the Koran. It teaches Muslims to have no tolerance for any other religion. It teaches ‘Holy War’ or Jihad to spread Islam over other nations. Here are a few quotes from the Koran to illustrate this:

“Those who disbelieve in our communications [i.e. from the Koran], we shall make them enter fire; so oft as their skins are thoroughly burned, we will change them for other skins, that they may taste the chastisement; surely Allah is Mighty and Wise.” (Surah 4:56)

“So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every kind of ambush …” (Surah 9:5)

“O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide these unjust people.” (Surah 5:51)

The very least we can say is that the more Fundamental a Christian becomes, the more just and loving he will become; but the more Fundamental a Muslim becomes, the more violent and intolerant he will become.

This is the reason why Islamic Fundamentalism is almost synonymous with terrorism. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost all terrorist today are Muslim.

From the foundation of the United States of America, our leaders have invoked the guidance and blessing of God, especially in the wars we have fought. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry Truman, to name a few, all sought God’s protection, guidance and blessings as they sent our soldiers into war. They did this because this country was founded on faith in God and the Lord Jesus Christ by the majority. They also did this because we only went to war when the majority of Americans believed it was a just war.

It was our faith in God that motivated us to come to the aid of Europe – particularly France and Belgium – in World Wars 1 and 2. So President George W. Bush is not acting in aberrant way from our history when he seeks God’s guidance and blessings. No, he is following the very essence of what made this country what it is. We have fought with fury against aggressors, but been merciful to the vanquished. We have not kept any of the lands we liberated. We helped even our enemies to rebuild. This behavior is rooted in our faith in the Bible. If we drift from this faith, we too will be destroyed.

So you ungrateful Europeans who criticize public appeals to God for His help – just shut up! You may need our help again.

2 Timothy 4
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

ARE YOU AS SHOCKED AS I AM?

Good morning from Georgia USA!

Hal Lindsey has written an article for the World Net Daily that I simply had to post here at Let Freedom Ring today. Have you had a chance to listen to the military updates on television? Americans can now see for themselves that a lot of the world out there hates us. Yesterday, I had an opportunity to observe the most outrageous anti-American bias straight from the mouths of news people from around the world. I became so angry that I had to turn the television off. The scriptures tell us that in the last days people would choose to believe a lie rather than the truth. If you watch the foreign news reporting as well as the "mainstream" press in America, coupled with our wonderful nutty crowd from Hollywood, you will see the truth distorted even when the media have people on the ground with our troops observing what is happening.

Well take a listen to what Hal has to say and think about all of the "tax money"that went to help many of these countries in time of need. Think about the lives of our men and women who went to Europe to save some of this crowd. Even more, watch the UN whining because America has revealed the truth about it to the World.

Do any of you remember the story of the Little Red Hen. Well, she decided to bake some bread one day and asked who would "help her bake her bread". Remember the lines, " not I said the cat, not I said the dog and so on. When the smell of that freshly cooked bread begin to hit the noses of that lazy bunch of "friends", they were all very eager to help her eat the bread. Well, the Little Red Hen did a politically incorrect thing. She and her family ate all the bread themselves. I hope that America will have a long memory after the war and never forget the slander and malicious lies that have been spread about her.

Ignore The Hostile Media

Hal Lindsey

The United States must not fall into the trap of trying to run a war that pleases a hostile world media. It is becoming increasingly obvious that no matter what we do right, the media will focus on the few accidents that always happen in a war.

The Muslim nations have become experts at using the media to reduce Western forces' ineffectiveness. They play upon the well-known conscience of the West concerning causing harm to civilians.

The Muslim media, led by Al-Jazeera, have totally distorted the events of the war. They have blatantly twisted facts into propaganda aimed at inflaming the Arab masses of the Middle East. So has the media of China, Europe and other nations who are opposed to the war.

But what Kofi Annan did this Wednesday is even more outrageous. Staring at the camera with his most somber expression, he warned the United States that he was gravely concerned about the 15 Iraqi civilian casualties in Baghdad reported by Al-Jazeera.

Now here is a man that is supposed to represent impartially the just concerns of all nations. Yet all he focuses on is one accidental incident out of thousands of successful ones that carefully avoided civilians. To the point of endangering of our own troops, no other nation has tried so hard to avoid causing civilian casualties.

Where were Anan's and the world media's concern about Saddam Hussein's war crimes?

Iraqis dressing as civilians and pretending to surrender only to open fire on unsuspecting U.S. troops.

Firing mortars into civilians trying to surrender to Allied troops in Basra.

Iraqi soldiers dressed as Allied troops accepting the surrender of other Iraqi soldiers and then brutally executing them on the spot.

Using hospitals as military fortresses and staging areas.

Using Red Crescent ambulances to carry orders and ammunition to Iraqi military.

Iraqi soldiers marching women and children in front of them while attacking U.S. 3rd Army in the An Najaf area.

Surface-to-surface missiles placed in the middle of homes in Baghdad.

As far as the Muslim media is concerned, the issue is not about Muslims killing Muslims. It is about Western infidels coming into "Muslim territory" and removing a Muslim tyrant from power. Never mind his horrible atrocities. He is a Muslim. Forget about the good intentions of setting them free and setting up a democracy. Islam is threatened by democracy. It is not part of the Muslim religion.

And as for Kofi Annan and his anti-American crowd, nothing the Allies do will be approved. So let's stop imperiling American troops by trying to please the anti-American world media. Who cares? They will never approve of the United States and its allies.

So let's not imperil our valiant soldiers by holding our military back from tactical decisions that must be taken in the light of the enemy's utter disregard for any international rules of war and morality. If Iraqi soldiers use human shields, we have to return fire. If they shoot from hospitals and use ambulances as couriers for orders and ammunition, shoot them and let Allah sort them out.

In the final analysis, the Muslim world understands one thing – power and the will to use it. They may not love us, but they will respect us. And in this present dangerous world brought about by the Muslim terrorists, that is what counts.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE RAPTURE?

John3:16

Sunday, March 23, 2003

Today please pray that America will once again turn back to the Lord in a great revival! Also pray for our men and women in uniform. I just heard on Fox news that Iraq has captured and summarily shot prisoners of war on camera for the world to see.

Isaiah 59
14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

GET OUT OF THE UN ASAP!

Good Sunday morning everyone. It is a cloudy spring day here in Georgia and I just noticed the first azaleas beginning to bloom for another season. It is almost hard to believe that our nation is at war with evil men who want to destroy our way of life and convert the world to Islam. Much is happening as you know and I waited until the war was underway to begin posting here at the site again. I felt that we all needed time to sort out all the happenings and think about what we have seen.

I believe that almost any American who has kept themselves informed of the happenings in our world, will now agree that the UN is corrupt and truly hates America. I have been sickened at watching this perverted comedy unfold with regards to Iraq. Libya has just been made head of the Human Rights Commission and the United States has been chastised for her stand on Iraq. If that isn't mind boggling I don't know what is! The scriptures tell us that when man forgets the Lord, judgement is perverted and harsh consequences occur. Well that is exactly what is happening here. The New World Order crowd has forgotten the Lord and are even pushing a One World Religion that includes every type of religion that you can think of. This would include witch's, New Ager's, Satanist and whoever else claims that they are a religion.

The United States of America has poured billions of dollars down this sink hole called the United Nations and what have we received in return? Men and women in our military have been forced to don the United Nations uniform and insignias and fight in a multi national "Peace Keeping Force" (Thanks to Bill Clinton) and what are the benefits of that sell out? The United States has led the way in humanitarian causes world wide and what is the results? Why you might ask. Because there are power hungry evil men who truly want to put the peoples of the world into a New World Order. If what we have seen so far is a glimpse of what a New World Order will mean to Americans then we need to GET OUT NOW! Our government needs to invite this crowd out of New York and let them settle elsewhere (perhaps in Iraq). Let the Rockefeller's have their land back as well as their vision of global government. We need to turn back to the Lord and our beloved Constitution that even the courts in our nation are now ignoring.

Note: Tomorrow I will post a couple of stories of people who have been abused by judges to show you how.

Representative Ron Paul has written an article that was posted at World Net Daily today. I like this man and what he is saying is the truth. Take a look at his article and think about it.

Time to Renounce the United Nations?
Rep. Ron Paul of Texas

Our anticipated war in Iraq has been condemned by many around the world for the worst of all reasons: namely, that America is acting without United Nations approval. The obvious implication is that an invasion of Iraq is illegitimate without such approval, but magically becomes legitimate when UN bureaucrats grant their blessing. Most Americans rightfully resent this arrogant attitude toward our national sovereignty and don’t care what the UN thinks about our war plans. Perhaps our heritage as a nation of people who do not take kindly to being told what to do is intact. Still, only the most ardent war hawks connected with the administration have begun to discuss complete withdrawal from the UN. I have advocated this for twenty years, and have introduced legislation to that effect.

The administration deserves some credit for asserting that we will go to war unilaterally if necessary, without UN authorization. But it sends a mixed message by doing everything it can to obtain such authorization. Efforts to build a “coalition” through the promise of billions in foreign aid dollars only reinforce the perception that we’re trying to buy support for the war. The message seems to be that the UN is credible when we control it and it does what we want, but lacks all credibility when it refuses to do our bidding. The bizarre irony is while we may act unilaterally in Iraq, the very justification for our invasion is that we are enforcing UN resolutions!

Our current situation in Iraq shows that we cannot allow U.S. national security to become a matter of international consensus. We don’t need UN permission to go to war; only Congress can declare war under the Constitution. The Constitution does not permit the delegation of congressional duties to international bodies. It’s bad enough when Congress relinquishes its warmaking authority to the President, but disastrous if we relinquish it to international bureaucrats who don’t care about America.

Those bureaucrats are not satisfied by meddling only in international disputes, however. The UN increasingly wants to influence our domestic environmental, trade, labor, tax, and gun laws. Its global planners fully intend to expand the UN into a true world government, complete with taxes, courts, and a standing army. This is not an alarmist statement; these facts are readily promoted on the UN’s own website. UN planners do not care about national sovereignty; in fact they are actively hostile to it. They correctly view it as an obstacle to their plans. They simply aren’t interested in our Constitution and republican form of government.

The choice is very clear: we either follow the Constitution or submit to UN global governance. American national sovereignty cannot survive if we allow our domestic laws to be crafted by an international body. This needs to be stated publicly more often. If we continue down the UN path, America as we know it will cease to exist.

Noted constitutional scholar Herb Titus has thoroughly researched the United Nations and its purported “authority.” Titus explains that the UN Charter is not a treaty at all, but rather a blueprint for supranational government that directly violates the Constitution. As such, the Charter is neither politically nor legally binding upon the American people or government. The UN has no authority to make “laws” that bind American citizens, because it does not derive its powers from the consent of the American people. We need to stop speaking of UN resolutions and edicts as if they represented legitimate laws or treaties. They do not.

The UN is neither wise nor neutral. All of the member nations have national interests that don’t simply disappear when their representatives enter the UN general assembly hall. Like any government or quasi-government body, the UN is rife with corruption and backroom deals. Worst of all, it serves as a forum for rampant anti-Americanism. Perhaps the time has finally come when more Americans will choose to rethink our participation.

1 Thessalonians 5

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape

24 Hours And Counting!

The word is out now after the conference in the Azores with the United States, Great Britain and Spain. 24 Hours! The UN has done nothing and has not assumed its "responsibility". We are probably going in after Sadaam Hussein. If this occurs, it will be on the 18th of March which will be Bob and my 26th Wedding Anniversary. In all my life I never knew that we would witness these end time events so dramatically. The United States is going after Iraq (Babylon) and along with that mission, word is now that the plans for Israel and the Palestinians are still moving forward. The United States through a CFR State Department, is going to negotiate the giving away of lands given by God to Israel in Covenant. Our government has not heeded the warnings of becoming embroiled in this affair and I pray that it will wake up before we anger our Heavenly Father. Now is the time to pray and pray and pray for America.

Some friends of mine, The Murphy's, shared a verse with me a long time ago that say's, I don't know what the future may hold but I know who holds the future. What will happen when we go to war? Only our God really knows the truth. Because of those who have been lax in our governemnt and I am convinced really hate this country, we have terrorist ready and waiting to inflict harm in our nation. I believe that one of the major reasons judgement has not already fallen on us is because of Israel and our support there.

It is still the time to keep your eyes on Israel and Jerusalem. Sadaam will probably sling missles into that tiny country just as he did 10 years ago. The world stage is being set up and all that is needed is for the major players to begin their roles in this endtime scenario. Hold on and prayerfully listen for the trumpet sound it could happen at any moment!

Bush Ties Palestinian State To Iraq War
The Devil is In the Details - Literally
Israel - Middle East
Saturday, March 15, 2003
Jack Kinsella - Omega Letter Editor

President Bush made concurrent announcements Friday that signaled two things. The first means that the government of Saddam Hussein will be history soon, whether the UN likes it or not. The second announcement may signal the same thing for Israel, which somehow is at the heart of every global issue -- exactly as the Bible said it would be, in the last days.

President Bush announced a last-ditch summit with Britain and Spain in the Azores. The announcement of the summit is a clear signal that the diplomatic process is over. And that the war is about to begin.

Bush's second announcement was a pledge to release the "road map" soon that he says will lead to a final Israeli-Palestinian peace settlement. He stopped short of calling it a a 'final settlement to the Jewish question' but in the end, that is just about what it amounts to.

First, Iraq. The summit, in the remote Azores islands, is expected to pave the way for war, because the three leaders have now concluded that they almost certainly will not be able to win sufficient backing for a U.N. resolution authorizing the use of force against Iraq.

The United States, Britain and Spain will still lobby hard behind the scenes during the next 48 hours for votes. But the administration is increasingly likely to pull the resolution altogether rather than even going for a vote to make a point.

The United States has gradually lost the psychological edge in recent days, U.N. envoys say, because of three events: France's declared intention to veto sapped the interest of small countries to stand with Washington. The Turkish parliament refused U.S. troops. And Mexico and Chile have so far balked at providing the votes that might have cemented the necessary nine votes for the resolution.

Barring a last-minute turnaround at the Security Council, the Azores summit is expected to be followed quickly by a U.S. ultimatum to President Saddam Hussein to go into exile -- or face the consequences.

"We are in the end game for U.N. diplomacy," National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice said Friday in an interview with Al Jazeera, the Arab world's most popular TV network. "A moment of truth is coming soon, and that's what the leaders are going to meet to discuss in the Azores."

The announcement of the Azores summit came at the same time that the Pentagon began moving about 10 Navy warships out of the Mediterranean into the Red Sea, where they can launch missiles at Iraq without flying over Turkey.

Turkey refused to allow the US to use its country as a base for launching operations in northern Iraq, attempting to get Washington to sweeten the six billion dollar toll fee it offered Ankara to let the US operate from their territory.

The Turkish parliament voted down the US offer by a majority so slim it even surprised the Turks, most of whose leadership had hoped the measure would pass, but didn't want to appear to be to eager to help.

Turkey's new leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, favors the deployment and cooperation with Washington.

Erdogan could re-submit a motion on troops to parliament as early as this morning. But party sources said he would probably first push for formal approval of his government.

The US is running out of patience as quickly as it is running out of time.

The Pentagon has begun implementing 'Plan B' and has started moving the ships loaded with troops and war materiel that have been waiting offshore down the Suez Canal to make the trip around Saudi Arabia and into the Persian Gulf.

Those are important clues that the decision has been made, the date set, and that the White House has decided that the UN is irrelevant factually, as well as rhetorically.

But the announcement that is the clearest signal that war with Iraq is about to begin is the administrations announcement in the same breath that it intends to jump-start peace efforts on the Arab-Israeli conflict.

The administration insisted that its abrupt action was not connected to Iraq in any way but was instead produced by the confluence of three factors: Israel has formed a new government after January elections; the Palestinian Authority is soon to put in place a new prime minister, weakening the autocratic control of Yasser Arafat; and the so-called quartet -- the United States, the European Union, the United Nations and Russia -- had formulated a road map for peace.

In point of fact, Israel is the bargaining chip being tossed on the table to keep Spain and Britain onboard right up until the last card in the game has been dealt.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Marie Aznar have both badly needed a U.S. commitment to act on the other, older Middle East conflict before they take the last step on Iraq.

But so do the Arab 'allies' and others among the two dozen nations that administration sources say are willing to play some role in a U.S.-led war to oust Saddam.

In the natural, this makes less than no sense at all. Yasser Arafat is a terrorist, and any Palestinian state that emerges as a consequence of a forced settlement will simply be another Iraq-in-waiting.

Arafat's 'appointment' of a prime minister is a smokescreen -- Arafat kept all the real power for himself, creating a mirror image of what had been demanded. The US and Israel wanted a prime minister's office as head of state and a figurehead presidency. Arafat created a figurehead prime minister instead.

This new Palestinian State would be populated by the same Palestinians who cheered the carnage on 9/11 -- the same Palestinians who support Hamas, the same Palestinians who have taught the entire last generation of students that Israel is a temporary occupier of Palestinian lands that they will one day push into the sea.

Granting them statehood means either the end of Israel, or the beginning of a new Iraq-type scenario.

It is a betrayal, although Sharon hasn't yet completely caught on to the strategy. But it is entirely consistent with Bible prophecy.

The prophet Zechariah lived hundreds of years after the Northern Kingdom of Israel was destroyed. In his day, the existence of a state of Israel was already ancient history. Yet he confidently predicted a restored Israel -- and the conflict it would have with the rest of the world over its tiny capital of Jerusalem.

Of the time just before the return of the Messiah, Zechariah wrote; "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." (Zechariah 12:3)

The world is, at the moment, completely absorbed by the danger of a war against Iraq, with another potential war with a nuclear North Korea waiting in the wings.

Every civilized nation on earth is a potential target for the al-Qaeda terrorist network and the liklihood of a major nuclear conflict looms large on the horizon.

Israel was not involved in the last Gulf War. The Israelis have no effective voice at the UN apart from that of the United States when it speaks on their behalf.

From the day they were reborn in 1948 they have never threatened any state outside their own borders. They have declared no war against any state that didn't first declare war on them and they have only taken that war outside the borders long enough to win it.

All the territory they took by conquest has been returned, with the exception of the territories of the West Bank they conquered from Jordan and the Gaza Strip conquered from Egypt in a war in which the Israelis were NOT the aggressors.

And Jordan doesn't WANT the West Bank back. Ditto for Egypt and the Gaza Strip. Israel's only territorial dispute is with a people who never existed prior to 1967 over a mythical Palestinian state that never existed in history.

Against this backdrop, the only way the United States can get any measure of support for taking out one of the most reprehensible and dangerous dictators of this generation is by exposing Israel's jugular to a people in their midst whose intentions for their continued existence is unquestionable and well-documented and whose most defining national characteristic is their unwavering support for terror attacks against Israeli civilian targets like buses, markets and schools.

Apart from merely existing, what role does Israel have to play in Persian Gulf War One OR Two?

This is a nation that did NOT exist for 2500 years. Except as a distinct and peculiar people whose only national characteristic was perpetual persecution and a confidence that one day God would bring them back into their own land.

So, while in the natural, it makes no sense, in the supernatural, it makes perfect sense that no matter what the international conflict, regardless of who the players are, and in spite of Israel's total non-involvement, it still all boils down to Jerusalem.

And how to take it away from the Jews and give it to the Arabs who never particularly wanted it until after the Jews began flooding back during the first half of the last century.

Let this sink in for a second. This is a scenario that could never have been possible prior to this generation.

As you think on these things, recall the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: "And when these things BEGIN to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)

Watch closely as Washington's road map for peace develops.

The devil is in the details. Literally.

If you do not know my Jesus you can today. The scripture says:

Romans 10
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Call out to Him today and ask him to forgive your sins, to come into your heart and save you and upon the authority of the scriptures, you will be saved.

Hello everyone,

As the war clouds gather I have been looking for just the article that would give us a little joy instead of fear. I think I found it! I had the privilige of meeting Chuck Missler at the Gods News Behind The News Bible Prophecy Conference 3 years ago. He was in Navy intelligence and is a wonderful born again believer. As I was looking and praying for just the right article this morning, I believe the Good Lord in His own way let me find this one written by Chuck.

How many of you watched the movie, Indiana Jones: Raiders Of The Lost Ark? My family did. Although completely fictitional and pure Hollywood, we were on the edge of our seats throughout the entire movie.

I have always been fascinated about learning more information regarding the Ark of The Covenant. I even remember as a teenager, asking my Sunday School teacher where it was. She thought it was in heaven. Well, this article tells about some real folks who think they have found the answer. Remember, that the Jewish Temple has to be rebuilt in order for the Antichrist to desecrate it. In that Temple the true Ark must rest and the Jewish Rabbi's will not allow that Temple to go forth until all is in place just as the Old Testament dictates.

Go with me to the country of Ethiopa and visit with a group who claim that their task has been to guard the Ark until it ready to go back to the Temple. Hope you enjoy.

God Bless

Trip Report:
The Ethiopian Expedition
by Chuck Missler

From January 12-29, 2003, we had the opportunity to join with Bob Cornuke, the famous international archaeological investigator, on an invitational expedition to Ethiopia to participate in the annual Timkat celebration.1 It turned out to be one of the most absorbing and life-changing experiences we've ever had.

The Ethiopians have been guarding their mysterious relic for over 2400 years, which they maintain is the Ark of the Covenant. Once a year they celebrate it with a two-day procession called Timkat.

Based on our understanding of 2 Chronicles 35, it appears that the Levites had removed the Ark of the Covenant from Jerusalem to protect it from the ravages of Manasseh and sought protection under Pharaoh Necho. 2 (Pharaoh Necho, incidentally, was an Ethiopian, descended from XXV Dynasty, known as the Ethiopian Dynasty.) This relic, along with its Levitical retinue, apparently remained ensconced at Elephantine Island in Egypt for two centuries before it was moved south to Tana Qirqos Island on Lake Tana in Ethiopia, where it remained for eight centuries before moving to Axum, where it has been secured in a highly protected bunker-like building to this day.

We were able to visit each of these sites where this mysterious relic has been guarded for over 2400 years.

Elephantine Island

Elephantine Island lies in the middle of the Nile, just across from where the city of Aswan sits today; however, in the days of XXV Dynasty, it was a military fortress serving as a capital, which rendered it as an ideal refuge to protect the Ark from the reach of the malicious King Manasseh in Israel.

In addition to exploring the extensive ruins of the original fortifications and the subsequent temples - particularly from the subsequent Ptolemaic periods - we also encountered evidence that there previously had been a Jewish colony there in the sixth century B.C., worshiping in a temple to Yehovah.3

Tana Qirqos Island

Lake Tana is a large lake - over 90 miles across - in Ethiopia. Among its numerous small islands there is one, Tana Qirqos, which served as the Ark's domicile for eight centuries.

Thanks to the relationships that Bob Cornuke had established in his numerous earlier visits, we were received graciously by the small colony of monks that still reside there and were treated with opportunities to review some of their treasures still in their safekeeping: bronze flesh hooks that were used for the burnt offerings, bowls and other assorted implements, etc. We also examined the postholes that are still visible in the rocks where the Tabernacle ostensibly stood.

It was interesting to discover that they also embrace a tradition that Joseph, Mary and the child Jesus visited there during their sojourn in Egypt.

Axum

In about A.D. 330, the Ark was moved to Axum where it still resides today, presently housed in a secure building known as St. Mary's Church of Zion. It is guarded day and night by a Guardian that never leaves the site. When he dies, a young boy, specially chosen and groomed for this honor, will take his place until he, too, dies and is replaced by his successor. This procedure apparently has been followed for thousands of years.

Once a year, they celebrate Timkat, a procession from St. Mary's Church of Zion, through the town, to a waterside ceremony celebrating the Baptism of Christ. The procession continues to a large area distinguished by numerous stelae and other fixtures commemorating the nation, where prayers and songs continue on the second day. Ultimately the ceremonial elements are then returned to St. Mary's Church of Zion.

The actual Ark does not leave its secluded vaults, nor does the Guardian leave its side. Ceremonial replicas and other elements are used in the celebration. But it was absolutely astonishing to participate with tens of thousands of Levites, singing and praying - around the clock - for days prior, during, and subsequent to the processions, all celebrating Jesus Christ!

Here is a living tradition that apparently has been going on for over 2400 years! It is the only living tradition of the Ark of the Covenant on the Planet Earth. This is the only nation in Africa that claims to be Christian - and it has the Lion of the Tribe of Judah on its currency!

We had the unique privilege to be received in the home of Mr. Navrud, the Administrator (the one to whom the Guardian reports). Accompanied by his protégé and heir apparent, and our interpreter, Bob and I spent several hours in a Bible study with them, comparing our Scriptures with theirs. While it is clear that they take their responsibility to protect the Ark until the Messiah comes very seriously, they seemed surprisingly unaware of any further eschatological insights.

We shared our views regarding the destiny of the Mercy Seat and the implications behind Philip's encounter with the Ethiopian Treasurer in Acts 8, etc.4 It may seem presumptuous, but it may ultimately turn out that our visit may have planted some fruitful seeds for their future.

Other Sites

Of course, we visited other sites as well (and the three we mentioned have been presented in their historical order rather than the sequence we encountered them).

We began in Rome, visiting the Vatican, et al., which, of course, has to be seen to be fully understood. The scope of the world's history - and its future - is incomplete without understanding the ostensible grandeur - and agonies - from the struggles for temporal and religious power.

We entered Ethiopia through Addis Ababa, "the Capital of Africa," and our visit included the famed rock churches of Lalibella, which apparently figure prominently in intrigues with the Knights Templar in the 14th century. When we visited Elephantine Island, we continued on a cruise down the Nile to Luxor, Karnak, etc., all incredibly spectacular and instructive.

Before we left Cairo, we also made some fascinating discoveries in the Cairo Museum. We examined the stela of Pharaoh Merenptah, the 13th son of Rameses II, which is distinctive in that it includes a reference to the "tribe" of Israel.5 (The mummy of Pharaoh Merenptah is also distinctive in that the salts in the canopic lungs indicate that he apparently drowned in salt water!) Could he be the "missing" pharaoh of the Exodus?

The Reality of the Ark?

Everyone asks us, "Did we actually see the Ark?" No, we didn't. The actual relic never leaves its protected enclosure. It is significant that the Guardian himself never leaves the enclosure - even during the high days of the Timkat celebration.

In our extensive discussion with numerous officials we never encountered the slightest doubt that they believe they really do have the actual Ark of the Torah under their protection. (And we should also bear in mind that it is not in the interests of Ethiopia for the world to be really aware of their predicament; it would further complicate the acquittal of their responsibilities.)

I believe it is correct to report that each member of our expedition "strongly suspect" that the Ark is, indeed, there under their safekeeping, and that it will ultimately prove to be the special "gift" that will be presented to the Messiah in the not-to-distant future. You can find more interesting articles at Chuck Missler's Site: Koinonia House

NOTE FROM ME!
We know that the true Ark of the Covenant is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we also know that He is coming soon to receive His Church into heaven. However, I always love it when things are discovered that we have read about in Gods Holy Word. Hope you have enjoyed this exciting article.

God Bless
Elaine
