The Great Falling Away Is In Full Swing Now!

Good Morning Everyone.

I have been waiting for the right article to bring to you on this blog site. Well, this morning I found it! The scripture above says it all as far as what we are seeing happen in many of todays churches. The "Great Falling Away" is happining at an even greater intensity than one could imagine and this article made me almost ill at the way these translators brutalize the truth of scripture. These people refuse to reverence Holy Scripture and as result they will face the judgement of Almighty God. The last chapter in the book says it all:

Revelation 22
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

What is a Christian to do in light of what many denominations are doing? I will let Gods Word answer that question. It is found in the Book of Second Corinthians.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.


No longer can we trust tradition or sentimental memories to decide where we worship the Lord. If a church is going along with type of thing or many of the other abominations active today, we need to find a church where the Word of God is revered and the truth is being preached.

"The new version, which Dr. Williams says he hopes will spread 'in epidemic profusion through religious and irreligious alike', turns St. Paul's strictures against fornication on their head," adds the Times.

The One organization that produced the new Bible translation is dedicated to "establish[ing] peace, justice, dignity and rights for all." It is also focused on "sustainable use of the earth's resources," challenging "oppression, injustice, exclusion and discrimination" as well as accepting "one another, valuing their diversity and experience."

According to Ekklesia, a London-based "theological think tank" that supports the "One" translation:


The translation is pioneering in its accessibility, and changes the original Greek and Hebrew nomenclature into modern nicknames. St. Peter becomes "Rocky," Mary Magdalene becomes "Maggie," Aaron becomes "Ron," Andronicus becomes "Andy" and Barabbas becomes "Barry."
In keeping with the times, translator Henson deftly translates "demon possession" as "mental illness" and "Son of Man," the expression Jesus frequently used to describe himself, as "the Complete Person." In addition, parables are rendered as "riddles," baptize is to "dip" in water, salvation becomes "healing" or "completeness" and Heaven becomes "the world beyond time and space."

Here's how Williams, the top Anglican archbishop, describes the new Bible: "Instead of being taken into a specialized religious frame of reference – as happens even with the most conscientious of formal modern translations – and being given a gospel addressed to specialized concerns … we have here a vehicle for thinking and worshipping that is fully earthed, recognizably about our humanity."

In addition, notes Ekklesia, the archbishop praises Henson's translation for eliminating "the stale, the technical, the unconsciously exclusive words and policies" in other translations.

Here, according to the London Times, are a few sample passages:

Mark 1:4

Authorized version: "John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins."

New: "John, nicknamed 'The Dipper,' was 'The Voice.' He was in the desert, inviting people to be dipped, to show they were determined to change their ways and wanted to be forgiven."

Mark 1:10-11

Authorized version: "And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him. And there came a voice from the heaven saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

New: "As he was climbing up the bank again, the sun shone through a gap in the clouds. At the same time a pigeon flew down and perched on him. Jesus took this as a sign that God's spirit was with him. A voice from overhead was heard saying, 'That's my boy! You're doing fine!'"

Matthew 23:25

Authorized version: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!"

New version: "Take a running jump, Holy Joes, humbugs!"

Matthew 26:69-70

Authorized version: "Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, 'Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.' But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest."

I have to say a word about the loss of our great President. Ronald Reagan. Never before did I feel as safe as when he was our President. I am so thrilled to know that he knew the Lord as Personal Savior. He is now with the Lord and I believe he has heard the above Scripture loud and clear. I also bet my Dad was at the Gates to welcome him home. My Dad was very ill with cancer when Mr Reagan was nominated as President but he had been at the the convention in the 60's when Reagan lost that first bid to run as President. Daddy thought so much of this man and I know he is probably visiting with him as I write this article. At least I would like to think so!

Behind The Scenes With Five Months To Go, So Who’s It Going To Be: Kerry or Bush?

The polls are calling it a statistical dead heat five months out. Americans seem divided between the embattled President they know and the challenger who wants to be all things to all people. As the election draws near, political pundits are perplexed as to who will eventually occupy the most powerful position in the world—President of The United States of America.


The candidates are at the opposite ends of the political spectrum. There are international forces who wish to destroy the country for its Judeo-Christian roots and there are those from within who wish to eliminate the nation’s Judeo-Christian values and legal system. This election, unlike any before it, is a battle for the very soul of America.

National Security On The Voter’s Scales

Irrespective of the end vote, this election promises to be a referendum on not only the President and his policies, but also about the foreign policy of preemption versus globalism. Never before has one election underscored so succinctly the chasm differences between the candidates regarding foreign policy, despite analysts who insist there are only subtle differences between the candidates. While differences may be nuance, the devil is in the details, as they say.


Democrat challenger Senator John F. Kerry, who would take a decisive turn toward internationalism, would rely on the United Nations and international policing efforts to battle the war on terror. The significance of such a move has far reaching consequences…the least of which is that U.S. national security will become a responsibility shared with the global community, much like that of the Clinton Administration.


President George W. Bush has taken heat from the media and leaders on both sides of the political aisle for his policy of preemption. His “either you are for us or against us” no holds barred stand against terrorism has offended the world community, especially those countries such as France, Russia, China and Germany who have and have had secret multibillion dollar deals with terrorist states. Nevertheless, this national defense plan has focused the war on terror on the Iraqi front where al Qaeda terrorists are pouring in from Iran, Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan to fight the “great American satan.” Critics aside, this policy has taken the war to the terrorists and has made them fight in the Middle East deserts rather than in the streets of major U.S. cities.


Those interested in the security of the nation may make a very simple decision in the voting booth: Find the candidate that is supported by terrorists and their allies, and vote for the other guy. Here, the nod goes to Bush.


Domestic Social Civil War

While the United States is leading a global war against terrorism abroad, there is a deep and venomous civil war raging domestically. The candidates severely differ on their approach toward the social nation America.


The nation has marched toward a secular humanist society where traditional values are an unprotected endangered species—and this phenomenon has exponentially increased under the watch of a very publicly Christian president. The leftist juggernaut of activist judges in league with socialist civil rights groups has cornered traditional values at the slaughterhouse gate. The overwhelming majority of Americans (over 60% in all polls), however, are against court decisions to remove the Ten Commandments from the public square, to remove acknowledgement of God in the Pledge of Allegiance, and to legalize homosexual marriage. A slight majority (51%) is against abortion on demand and an overwhelming majority (up to 85% in some polls) is against partial birth abortion.


Yet President Bush, with the majority opinion of Americans with him, has not succeeded in slowing the hemorrhage of bleeding hearts sweeping the nation’s morals down the river Humanism. But Americans know that Kerry, the most liberal in the Senate, would only open the floodgates full throttle.

Jobs may become an issue if the economy continues to improve statistically and the unemployed in Ohio, Wisconsin and California continue jobless through September. No presidential candidate on recent record has lost Ohio and won the White House. Workplace opportunities continue to improve, a slight edge to Bush, otherwise a Kerry neutralizer.


Now For The Strategy…

The Kerry campaign suffers from having a boring, arrogant candidate that is not very likeable and has the most liberal voting record in the Senate. They have bet the farm on portraying the candidate as a highly decorated Vietnam veteran who stands up for what he believes.


Kerry, however, has taken a shelling for his anti-War, pro-communist post-war stances, especially from those who served with him in Southeast Asia. Citing Senate hearings where Kerry condemned fellow soldiers as war criminals, veterans are circulating pictures of Kerry shaking hands with communist dictator Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua fame. And it was recently revealed that Kerry’s mug has a place of honor in the Vietnam War Museum—the museum in Ho Chi Minh City that honors Vietnam war protesters where a 1993 photograph features Senator Kerry shaking hands with the general secretary of the Communist Party, Comrade Do Muoi.


Kerry’s strategy has to attempt to focus Americans on the Bush record, the administration’s perceived failings in prosecuting the war in Iraq and the falling popularity of America among so-called allies. Kerry has benefited from an unprecedented hostile media onslaught against the President, but even so, after six months of harsh media criticism of the war, polls show only a statistical dead heat. The Kerry camp must be elated on one hand that a double-digit Bush free-fall has precipitated without spending a lot of campaign cash. On the other hand, however, Kerry’s crew must be perplexed as to why the Massachusetts liberal hasn’t captured a commanding lead. Their only choice is to go negative and hope that international events give them aid and comfort in the eyes of Americans.


President Bush's re-election strategists plan to portray the November election as the first since the Reagan era to offer voters a stark choice between liberalism and conservatism, and they have the money to do it. The Bush campaign has demonstrated unique nimbleness in responding to Kerry and media charges, turning out commercials and placing buys in areas of demographic significance within 24 hours. This has kept the embattled president on even ground despite the negative attacks.


Key will be the battleground states, the top ten with the most Electoral Votes:1. California (55) 2. Texas (34) 3. New York (31) 4. Florida (27) 5. Illinois (21) 6. Pennsylvania (21) 7. Ohio (20) 8. Michigan (17) 9. New Jersey (15), and 10. Georgia (15). The Bush campaign is encouraged that polls indicate the President is holding his own in these states, despite his popularity falling on a national scale. Important to the campaign will be the get out to vote strategy and Republicans say they have been working hard since the 2000 election. The closeness of the 2000 race caused the Republican Party to begin an ambitious, nationwide return to shoe-leather politics. The Bush campaign has assembled an army of volunteers that swung into action months before the Kerry campaign.

Insider’s Take: Insiders are saying if Bush loses another 7% in the polls he can't win. Additionally, an incumbent in the approval range of 45% to 50% is in a danger zone. I have also been told Kerry finishes strong in races. Former Clinton Campaign Guru Dick Morris says Kerry is a weak candidate, and the Bush team is very strong; quick to jump on Kerry's errors. Trump cards: Terror attack in the U.S. and potential problems for Bush if he pushes too hard on Israel. Economic gains could be hammered by oil prices and/or a major terror event. Warren Buffet is very concerned by aggressive derivative trading. Bush's base, while somewhat put off by some of the President’s domestic policies, has a tradition of voting and will remain loyal to the President, as he is the only game in town. The Democrats out number the Republicans (about 43% to 40%) and will need to get the vote out. Secular media, Hollywood and George Soros and friends have Bush in their crosshairs. The world media and many world leaders do not like Bush because they perceive him as arrogant, not falling into line with the world community, and showing too much Texas cowboy bravado in persecuting the war on terror.

If Bush is elected things will be somewhat status quo. If Kerry is elected judgment will fall on America. Prediction Five Months Out: It’s hard to win against an incumbent during wartime.

Perilous times are upon us and our only hope is in the Lord. I have been saying for weeks that this war was not only in the physical realm but in the spiritual also. This new scandal reveals the truth of this matter. The same prison that Sadaam used to torture and kill has been used by some of our people for evil. Perhaps the "Demonic Prince of Persia found in the Book of Daniel" has had something to do with this. I believe we need to seriously and continuously pray for our troops in that ungodly land!

Jack Kinsella - Omega Letter Editor

A bill co-sponsored by NY Democrat Charlie Rangel and Nebraska Republican Chuck Hagel seeks to reinstate the draft that was phased out following the Vietnam War in favor of the current, all-volunteer military force.


In a New York Times Op-Ed on Dec. 31, 2002, NY Democrat Charlie Rangel said, "If we are going to send our children to war, the governing principle must be that of shared sacrifice."
Nebraska's Chuck Hegel echoed Rangel's sentiments, asking rhetorically, "Why shouldn't we ask all of our citizens to bear some responsibility and pay some price?"
Hagel argues that conscription would force "our citizens to understand the intensity and depth of challenges we face."

Rangel likewise claimed the U.S. would be less likely to go to war if soldiers were drafted rather than adequately paid.

Hagel says we need a draft so "the privileged, the rich," as well as the less affluent bear the burden of fighting wars.

Rangel's bill would require "that all young persons in the United States, including women, perform a period of military service or a period of civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, and for other purposes."

In other words, the bill mandates a period of involuntary servitude for a select group of young people COMPELLED to do whatever the government decides.

It always fascinates me to hear terms like 'our children' as if they were somehow the property of the state to do with as 'we' will. Following that line of reasoning, wars are declared by their parents -- why don't THEY go fight them?

Charley Rangel won't have to worry about being drafted into the military just as he is beginning the toughest phase of any person's life -- the transistion from adolescent to adult. Chuck Hegel has had thirty years or more to make the adjustment -- maybe he forgot what it was like.

It's hard to be eighteen.

It is even harder if, in addition to all the other burdens that come with that tender age, one has to consider being impressed into involuntary servitude -- UNNECESSARY involuntary servitute -- by virtue of no other criteria than being eighteen?

The Pentagon isn't asking for more troops. Most military units are meeting their recruiting and re-enlistment quotas. There is no need to force unwilling Americans to 'share' the burden -- especially since the burden is imposed exclusively on America's youth.

Rangel's bill is co-sponsored by Democratic Reps. Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, Corrine Brown of Florida, William Clay of Missouri, John Conyers Jr. of Michigan, Elijah Cummings of Maryland, Alcee Hastings of Florida, John Lewis of Georgia, Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, Jim McDermott of Washington state, James Moran of Virginia, Pete Stark of California, Nydia Velazquez of New York and Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton of the District of Columbia.

Isn't it fascinating that it is the most liberal wing of the Congress that wants to reimpose what they fought so bitterly against during the Vietnam War? Why would anybody want to dismember America's professional force of volunteers in favor of inducting and training unwilling warriors?

It reveals the core principles behind liberal thinking -- the use of class warfare to promote collectivism. Liberals expect the state to meet their every need. It is an interesting irony that the loudest liberal instigators of class warfare are themselves rich -- something that embarrasses them ALMOST enough for them to give away all their money. Almost.

Listen to Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Charley Rangel, etc., etc., as they rail against 'tax cuts for the rich' and ensuring 'the rich' share the burden of military service, as if, in a VOLUNTEER military, somehow, they don't.

Even as a youth, John Kerry was rich. So was John Kennedy. Pat Tillman walked AWAY from riches. Bill Clinton, on the other hand, was poor. (Who doesn't fit in the above group of veterans?)

Because being embarrassed about being rich isn't quite enough for liberals to give away their own money, they salve their consciences by giving away yours. All the while convincing you that the rich guys are getting a free ride on your dime.

This same principle of class warfare and collectivism is behind the push to reinstate the draft.

America doesn't need the draft to maintain its military readiness -- in fact, conscription would drive military readiness down. By the time a draftee was adequately trained to serve in a 21st century, highly technical military force, his two years would be up.

The agenda isn't to 'share the burden' among rich and poor. It is to create a new dragon for them to slay down the road. If they can successfully push through a new conscription, they will automatically create an army of anti-warriors out of the unwilling draftees, their families and their friends.

Then guys like Charley Rangel and John Kerry can join hands, marching at the front of a column of anti-war demonstrators, singing 'Kumbaya' and chanting 'I have a dream' and tapping into America's national discontent to get votes -- you know, just like in the old days.

A successful and victorious America doesn't need liberals to protect them. Which is why they want to bring back the draft, end the war, talk down any economic recovery and write op-ed columns in the New York Times about American 'arrogance' for not surrendering US national interests to the UN.

The United States gives out $13.3 billion tax dollars in direct Foreign
Aid annually. The United States is above and beyond the single most generous benefactor of the United Nations, donating $2.4 billion dollars of YOUR money, to primarily third-world dictators.

This amount is 25% of the United Nations budget. In addition, the United States also gives another $1.4 billion tax dollars to United Nations' programs and agencies. The American taxpayers fund more for the United Nations than ALL of the other 177 member nations COMBINED.

What most Americans do not realize is that the vast majority of the
recipients of the of US Foreign Aid routinely vote against the wishes of
the United States in the United Nations at an average rate of 74%. In other words, of the $13.3 billion tax dollars invested in direct Foreign Aid only about 26% or $3.5 billion went to support people who endorsed American initiatives or causes.



In addition, a staggering $9.8 billion tax dollars went to
causes and people who were and are in open and direct opposition to the United States' interests and objectives.

Thanks to Chris Davis for sending me these interesting historical notes! I remember the days of Lyndon Johnson and his promise of the Great Society. Well now we have it? Liberalism is the bane of history. Pacifisim is the road to a nations destruction and the Dems represent it all. There is no choice this year. I know who I want to lead the country. He may not be perfect but the alternative is horrifying! Think about it! And, please get this one out to people.

Senate.

A: A: The Democratic party!

A: The Democratic Party with Al Gore casting the deciding vote.

Q: Which party decided to give SS money to immigrants?

A: A: That's right, immigrants move into this country and at 65 get
SSI, Social Security. The Democratic Party gave that to them
although they never paid a dime into it.

WHY? Buying their votes with YOUR money! Then,after doing all this, the
Democrats turn around and tell you the Republicans want
To take your Social Security. And the worst part about it is
That people believe it!

This TRUTH must be an issue in "04." It will SHOCK even DEMOCRATS!

By 1933, Adolph Hitler gave voice to sentiments deeply ingrained in a much wider culture than Germany. The patterns of economic, social, and personal persecution of European Jews were well established across Europe -- that responsibility for the Holocaust rested mainly on Germany was because they were the first to put thoughts into action, not because they were the first to entertain those thoughts.


Once words became deeds, the Nazis had no shortage of volunteers across Europe to help them track down, transport, rob and ultimately shovel the bulk of European Jewry into ovens.

In 1933, 600,000 Jews lived in Germany: 20 percent were immigrants from Eastern Europe and 80 percent were German citizens. Many were descendants of Jews who had settled in Germany for nearly 2,000 years. They were socially integrated and participated in German intellectual, cultural, economic, and political life.

Among the first to feel the toe of the Nazi jackboot were the Jewish intellectuals. Once the Jewish perspective was removed from social discourse, it became much easier to paint a portrait of a 'typical' Jew without being inconvenienced by contradictory opinion.

Although the Holocaust is a topic I have studied at great length, I've never been able to fully absorb how the Holocaust could have been possible in the first place.

In my mind's eye, those who participated in the butchery of the innocents --simply because they were Jews -- aren't people in the sense of people I've met or people I know. Although only a generation ahead of me, they remain a mystery to me.

But I know such people existed. History says so.

Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany in January, 1933. By March, Dachau was open. By April, Jews were systematically barred from holding teaching seats at universities. Jewish shops and businesses became the target of organized boycotts. On May 10, the first book burnings were held, prompting Heinriche Heine's prescient comment, "Whenever they burn books, they will also, in the end, burn people."

After the Holocaust, the surviving Jews declared "never again" and made their way back to their ancestral homeland, signalling the resumption of the countdown to the 70th Week of Daniel.

The Germans apologized. The Europeans apologized. Israel forgave them.

[Except for Britain. Since they fought on the side of the Allies, they were never forced to face their complicity -- but that is grist for another mill]

The anti-Semitism that gave rise to the Holocaust didn't die off with the generation who perpetrated it -- it just went underground, where it continued to bubble.

That there is a world-wide rise in anti-Semitism is beyond dispute. A reading of the anti-Israeli resolutions passed by the UN establish that beyond all doubt, including the increasing frequency with which they are now being passed.

Mona Baker, a University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology professor in England, admitted that she fired two professors specifically because they were Jews. Specifically, because they were Israeli Jews. When interviewed by the London Telegraph, Professor Baker admitted, "I deplore the Israeli state. Miriam [dismissed Professor Miriam Shlesinger] knew that was how I felt and that they would have to go because of the current situation."

Baker asked Shlesinger and Professor Gideon Toury to resign after she signed on to a petition calling on academics world-wide to participate in a boycott of Israel. She fired the two Israeli professors as part of her participation in the boycott, or, as she put it, "my interpretation of what a boycott of Israel means". She added: "Many people in Europe have signed a boycott against Israel. Israel has gone beyond just war crimes."

Professor Baker, who refused to disclose where she was born, claimed that her actions were supported by a growing number of academics across Britain and in Germany.

The dismissals raised no public opposition from within British universities. American Professor Stephen Greenblatt of Harvard blasted British intellectuals while visiting to pick up an honorary degree from London University.

Greenblatt called Baker's actions "repellent", "dangerous" and "intellectually and morally bankrupt".

Greenblatt described any policy of singling out a group for collective punishment as "grotesque". He added: "Excluding scholars because of the passports that they carry or because of their skin color, religion or political party, corrupts the integrity of intellectual work."

I found it interesting to note that when British academia did step up to the plate, they were careful to disassociate Baker's actions from anti-Semitism, condemning the stifling of academic thought, without suggesting any repugnance at the anti-Semitism that prompted it.

Said Francis Robinson, a professor of history at London University; ""Whatever anyone feels about Israel, this is absolutely appalling. Certainly there are strong feelings, not often spoken but nevertheless strongly felt, shared by the majority of British liberal intellectuals about the problems with Israel. Nonetheless, this sounds dreadful. It runs counter to the very principles of academic freedom."

How's that for a condemnation of the practice of firing intellectuals simply because they are Israeli Jews? Although a majority of British intellectuals share Baker's hatred of Israel, this "sounds" (note that it SOUNDS dreadful, not that it IS dreadful).

There are almost two hundred countries in the world body. Israel stands unique among them. Israelis are universally hated as 'occupiers' and 'racist oppressors' -- even by members of the academic elite.

Nobody can argue that these shining lights of academic excellence don't know that Israel's 'occupation' is of land granted them in 1917 by the same authority that later drew the boundaries of Transjordan, Syria, Lebanon, Kuwait and Iraq.

If Israel is an occupation force within those boundaries, then the same status can be [and often is] argued by the Kurds of Iraq.

Except that when Saddam declared the British-drawn boundaries around Kuwait null and void, the world launched the Persian Gulf war on the grounds those borders were legitimate.

Neither are they ignorant of the terms of the Oslo Agreement, a desperate effort on behalf of Israel to 'unoccupy' the so-called Occupied Territories.

[The Israeli 'occupation' reminds me of the old story about the Roman soldier who called out that he had captured a handful of prisoners outside their perimeter. When told to bring them in, he replied, "they won't let me."]

These academics aren't ignorant of the fact that since Oslo, Arafat has unilaterally, deliberately and systematically sabotaged every effort to end Israel's unwilling occupation of the territory seized as a buffer zone after pushing back the invading Arab armines in 1967.

As to the charge of being racist, these brilliant and knowledgeable intellectuals must be able to follow Michael Melchior's syllogism, offered at the UN Conference on Racism at the Durban Conference in South Africa.

There, Melchior pointed out Israel's uniqueness was not a result of racism. Israelis, he noted, are 'people of a particular birth, irrespective of religion, and people of a particular religion, irrespective of birth.'

To call democratic, multi-ethnic Israel, [Melchior noted Israel is a land in which one can hear 86 different languages spoken] 'racist' in a conflict in which its enemies consist of ethnic Arab dictatorships is to turn logic upside down.

Can these academic luminaries not know these things? Don't they have books?

It is impossible for me to believe anyone could be so stupid, but I remind you that I have still never been able to see the generation of Europeans before me as fully human, either. So I admit an inability to see things from the perspective of the anti-Semite, although I try mightily.

I say all that to say that maybe some of these academics are that stupid, I just don't see how.

But if they aren't that stupid, then that leaves only one other explanation. They hate Israel because it consists of Jews who claim their birthright came by Divine Decree.

They hate that fact so much that they willingly reject the political decree that created the Jewish state [the Balfour Declaration - 1917] out of hand, while simultaneously defending the sanctity of the Arab borders issued by that same authority -- the British Crown.'

They hate them because they are Jews.

In His Word, God explains the purpose of Bible prophecy. In Isaiah 43:9 He issues a challenge to the false gods of this world. "Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth."

The gist of the challenge is clear. God says, "Here is My evidence. I'll tell you what will happen in advance. Who among your gods will do the same?"

Since the god of this world cannot prophecy, he cannot countenance the evidence of his impotence. God promised Jerusalem would be restored to the Jews -- after two thousand years of pointing to the fact Jerusalem was not in Jewish hands as evidence of prophecy defeated, suddenly, Jerusalem proves the opposite.

After 2000 years of Jewish pogroms and Diaspora -- evidence to the world that the Bible was not true -- the Jewish state exists, as the Bible said it would.

The reaction from the god of this world is evident in the fury of his assault against the symbol of his eventual defeat.

The Bible identifies one of the principle signs of the final generation is the existence of a Jewish Israel restored to the Land of Promise. In that generation, the Bible says, Israel will be the most hated nation on the face of the earth.

Zechariah says the entire world will gather against Israel over Jerusalem in the closing hours of the last generation.

"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." [Zechariah 12:2]

There is no natural explanation for the global anti-Semitism that is bubbling back to the surface of European political discourse.

Israel is a European-style democracy, the Arab states are repressive dictatorships.

Israel is an economic and financial powerhouse, the Arab states are Third World client states.

Judaism presents no discernible threat to the safety and stability of the Western world. Islam, the religion practiced by most Arab states, is directly responsible for the terror attacks that are responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands.

The majority of Muslims may not be terrorists, but the majority of terrorists are still Muslim.

Even the politics of oil doesn't adequately explain it. There are plenty of alternative oil sources. There are more untapped, but mapped and plotted oil reserves in Russia than in the entire Middle East.

The only explanation for anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism is the Bible. God said it would happen in the last days.

Defying recent history, common sense, logic and all political reality, we see exactly the picture outlined more than two thousand years before coming together before our eyes.

And it all came together in a single generation. The last generation. This generation.

Thanks to Jack Kinsella for this wonderful article. He has nailed the truth right on the head as to where we are in light of Bible Prophecy. Every Christian I know has a feeling that something is going on in the heavenlies and time is growing short to get our friends and loved ones saved. It is so simple to be ready for the next great event on the Christian calendar, the rapture.
Simply bow your head, ask Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your heart and be your savior. Thats it! Then you are ready for the rapture and the day we will face to face meet our precious Lord. If you have not prayed that prayer, then I plead with you to do so now. He will save you and enter your name in the Lambs Book of Life and all of heaven will rejoice with you on your salvation. I pray you find him today. For those of us who have been saved, I think we are getting close to having to fasten our rapture seat belts. A culture war has been raging in the United States for years. Unlike traditional wars, it cannot be won by military action, but it is a real war, being carried out on US soil by US citizens against one another.


For example, when San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom defied state law by allowing same-sex marriage licenses, a New York Times profile reported him sporting "a wide grin," "describing his motives as pure and principled," and cited his "business acumen, money, good looks and friends in the right places."

But when Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore also defied the law -- by installing a Ten Commandments display in his public building -- a Times profile said that "civil liberties groups accused Justice Moore of turning a courthouse into a church," while allowing that he had also become "an Alabama folk hero."

On the editorial page, the Times criticized Moore, likening him to George Wallace standing in the schoolhouse door, but supports Newsom's protest and gay marriage.

America's culture war can be defined as conservative vs. liberal, Right vs. Left, rich vs. poor, Democrat vs. Republican but in reality, the war is between believers in Christ and believers in the world system, both inside and outside of mainstream Christian culture.

It isn't really a war between cultures so much as it is a spiritual conflict. For example, while polls show a majority of Americans oppose gay marriage, some of the country's top editorial pages support it.

"Same-sex marriages pose no threat to anyone but rather affirm a commitment of love, an emotion that is universal," says the Boston Globe.

"We believe that extending the benefits and responsibilities of marriage to same-sex couples would be fair and beneficial; we understand that many Americans feel otherwise," says The Washington Post.

"Clearly those who claim that it signals the end of civilization need to get their outrage odometers adjusted," says the Los Angeles Times.

Polls demonstrate the culture war between Christ and the world is taking casualties within mainstrean Christian culture as well: A poll conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life suggest that opposition to same-sex marriage is widespread among white evangelical Protestants (84 percent) and blacks (65 percent).

Other mainline Protestant Christians showed a 20-point drop in opposition to same-sex marriage (from 64 percent to 44) and a 19-point drop among white Roman Catholics (from 60 percent to 41 percent) but only a 1-point decline among white evangelical Christians and African Americans. Do you see a pattern developing?

Another front in the culture war is the battle raging over Mel Gibson's movie, "The Passion of the Christ." Before it was even released, it had ignited passions across the country.

"Too gory!" exclaimed movie reviewers. The same movie reviewers loved Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" and "Pulp Fiction." Not to mention "A Nightmare on Elm Street" "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Natural Born Killers" all of which have achieved 'cult film status' and are immune to criticism. The same reviewers who criticized "The Passion" for its gore cheered the historical accuracy of the first thirty minutes of "Saving Private Ryan."

The culture war isn't over the movie, but rather the subject material -- namely the Salvation of the human race. The world system doesn't like to think that it needs salvation, and it doesn't like to be reminded of the historical Jesus.

If the Passion of Jesus is real, then hell is real. And if hell is real, then it becomes decision time. And to the world, 'decision time' means giving up all the 'fun stuff' -- something they would rather not do.

So rather than admitting outright that their real objection is to Christianity in general, they fall back on whatever seems safe. Antisemitism, or too much gore, or historical 'inaccuracies' that didn't seem to bother anybody when reviewing "The Last Temptation of Christ" or "Jesus Christ, Superstar".

Abortion is another example -- recently the Los Angeles Times corrected a review about a play that celebrated fertility (a favorite subject of the world) in which the reviewer called the play 'pro-life'. Although the play had NOTHING to do with abortion, the LA Times' editors changed 'pro-life' to 'anti-abortion'.

The words 'pro-life' are forbidden by the Times' editorial board because it might give the impression that if those opposing abortion are 'pro-life' then those who favor it are 'pro-death' or 'anti-life'. 'Anti-abortion' strikes the right semantic 'balance'; who wants to be 'anti' something? Especially since the opposite of pro-life is, by definition, anti-life?

Last week, the UC Student Senate passed a bill to give $2,400 to send 10 buses of students to a pro-abortion rally in Washington. That is considered 'education' but you won't find public universities shelling out funds to send students to a pro-life rally.

Cincinatti's Xavier College ponied up $30,000 to pay lunatic left-winger Michael Moore to address the student body. Some students wanted to hear from conservative columnist Walter Williams. They even put up $10,000 of their own money. Xavier refused to kick in the balance of $3000.00 -- about ten percent of what they paid Moore.

That the world is well aware of the spiritual conflict is easily seen by the automatic assumption that anybody who is pro-life must be a Bible thumping born-again Christian, so financing such a student trip would violate the alleged 'Separation Clause'.

Polls show the majority of Americans are pro-life, but the world system equates being pro-life to Jesus Christ. And hates it.

The spiritual war raging in America is taking place at the same time a larger spiritual conflict has gripped the whole world. Unlike America's war, this one IS being fought using bullets and bombs. That war pits Muslims against Jews and Christians, which is what brought it to America's shores. Because America is rapidly becoming one of the last strongholds of Christianity left in the world.

While there are more Christians in China than there are Americans on earth, no nation on earth has more Christians per capita and no nation on earth exerts more global influence than 'Christian' America.

The culture war raging in America represent the opening skirmishes in the coming War of Armageddon that rages throughout the Tribulation Period.

Consider what would happen to America if suddenly, there were no Christians remaining to continue the spiritual conflict with the world system. What if the only worldview left in America were the one espoused by the liberal left and the God-haters?

What would it mean to America's global status? What if there was nobody to restrain Ted Kennedy or John Kerry or Jay Rockefeller's doctrine of internationalism? What if there were no Christians left for Islam to fight?

One of the spiritual wars taking place in America right now concerns whether or not America is really a Christian country to begin with. In America, pledging allegiance to one nation 'under God' is already illegal. So is displaying the Ten Commandments on public land.

If there were no Christians, America's culture war would be over and the stage would be set for the War of Armageddon to begin in earnest. The Armageddon War isn't against the Church, it is against Israel and the Tribulation saints.

What would happen if, suddenly, Christianity disappeared from the face of the earth is outlined by the Apostle Paul. Paul had taught in his first Epistle to the Thessalonians of the coming Rapture of the Church.

"For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)

In his Second Epistle, Paul is specifically addressing a heresy that was being taught in Thessolonica that the Lord had already returned for His Church and that they had been left behind.

"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" (2nd Thessalonians 2:1-3)

Paul outlines the spiritual conflict, saying that "the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let, until He be taken out of the way."

The NIV translates this same verse, "For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the One who now holds it back will continue to do so till He is taken out of the way."

The One Who 'holds it back' is the Holy Spirit of God indwelling the Church. The Holy Spirit is God. God is omnipresent, meaning He is everwhere. The Psalmist wrote; "If I ascend up into heaven, Thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou art there." (Psalms 127:8)

It is only AFTER the restraining influence of the indwelt Church is removed, Paul says, that the Antichrist can come to power. "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His Mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:" (2 Thessalonians 2:8)

Note that the text makes 'that Wicked' a proper noun, and that he will be destroyed by the 2nd Coming of Christ at the conclusion of the Tribulation Period. The identification of 'that Wicked' as the antichrist is obvious from the context.

After the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is 'taken out of the way' Paul explains the 'strong delusion' that will cause the secular world to embrace the antichrist.

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12)

The Rapture would decimate the United States, hand victory to the internationalists, the liberals, the homosexual movement, the God-haters and the abortionists in a war they undoubtedly will think they have won.

It is obvious that the only thing restraining evil today is the believing Church. For those to be left behind, the conditioning process has already begun.

The Rapture is at hand. That means there isn't much time left for us to fulfill our commission as watchmen on the wall.

The King is coming! Tell somebody.
