HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Today's post has everything to do with ideas. What has made America great? Where have we gone wrong?

We are facing some of the most perilous times in our history and I fear there are still some who are asleep and others who simply hate all we stand for. Those haters of the American Dream have cunningly placed themselves in our government, institutions and churches.

I still believe with all my heart that the Lord directed the founding of America and her preservation. He has an ultimate purpose for our nation and that is the reason the evil one has come against our country in so many ways. This is the reason I think that our Lord will bring us through war and persecution. His plan will go forward and will not fail if we do our part.

The scriptures tell us:

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Oh that America will turn back to the Lord in this coming year of trials! That is when our victory over the dark forces will come and the purpose for us will be fulfilled.

Most Bible Believing Christians realize that we are living in the last days and although the times are perilous, we could be the generation to experience the Rapture and Gods final dealings with a sin-filled world. It is an exciting time to be alive and working for Him. The false gods of the Ism's are nearing judgement and nothing will prevent this from happening.

My prayer is that America will seek His face once more, stand firm and not waver. Our God is in control and He will place all things under his feet. It is He that will once again deliver us from the heathen and we will see Him come for his own, put down evil and create a new heaven and earth that will be eternal.

The new year approaches and, like many others, I consider what lies ahead – the promises and the challenges. What kind of world, or more precisely, what kind of America will we bequeath to our children?

The threats from terrorists and rogue, tyrannical dictatorships are real and formidable, but I'm confident we'll overcome them because we have a realistic president who recognizes the threats and is committed to eliminating them. And, the American people are behind him.

The greater threat comes from within, not from domestic terrorists or criminals, but from our own ignorance, complacency and licentiousness. There have always been those in our midst devoted to overturning everything America stands for, but until fairly recently, they didn't have a firm foothold in our institutions and culture.

While we must vigorously fight the war against terrorism and confront all other enemies we encounter, it is the war of ideas that poses the greatest risk to our children's freedom. If we continue to sit this war out, we'll lose it more quickly than we can imagine.

The war of ideas involves two contrasting visions of America. One was recently articulated by columnist George Will on a fascinating three-hour C-SPAN interview with Brian Lamb. Will emphasized that America is "a nation dedicated to a proposition," likely referring to Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg formulation that this country was based on a shared promise to enforce the belief that all men are created equal and entitled to equal rights.

We are not a particular race of people united by a common ethnic heritage, but a collection of all different races, colors and ethnicities bonded by a social compact that ensures we are all equals before God and under the law. It is not our diversity that we should celebrate, but our unity. As Will wrote in an earlier column on the subject, "we are a nation defined by our unum, not our pluribus." That's one vision.

The other vision is that which fails to appreciate our country as a melting pot. It sees no benefit in promoting a unique American culture, much less encouraging others to blend into it. It sees nothing sacred in America's proposition and even rejects it. Ultimately, it is inherently hostile to America's founding ideals because it regards as sinful any preference for certain ideas over others.

All ideas, according to this intellectual nihilism, are equal. America's secret, it holds, is its refusal to favor certain ideas above others – all ideas are of equal weight in a nation that elevates a distorted concept of tolerance to a godly virtue.

I view this alternative vision as dangerous because it fails to honor our essential "dedication to the proposition." It is no accident that America is the greatest and freest nation in the history of the world. And it's certainly not because we were founded with the absurd notion that no ideas are superior to others.

It's not our so-called diversity that has made us great, but a system of government sculpted around the affirmation that all men of all backgrounds are sinners. In order for men to sustain their liberty, they must be willing to accept reasonable limitations on it and temper it with personal responsibility.

The bedrock of our freedom is not representative government – people can vote themselves a dictatorship anytime they want – but limitations on government institutionally guaranteed by a Constitution undergirded by moral absolutes.

I fear that those subscribing to the alternative vision of America believe that freedom is the natural state of man and that little sacrifice is required to preserve it. Man, left to his own devices, will inevitably enslave himself. He always has. And we are in the process of doing that in this country by forgetting these elemental truths. Our sinful pride is causing us to abandon our heritage by lulling us into the seductive notion that we can handle freedom without restraints or responsibility.

Our children's future will depend on whether our society will have the courage to make moral choices, including the willingness to declare that the American system – despite the nostrums of political correctness and multiculturalism – is superior to all others ever tried on the planet. It will depend, in short, on their rededication to "the proposition."

Good Morning everyone. The We The People Foundation and We The People Congress is releasing information this weekend at their website that is very exciting. Not only is there going to be a Weekly Televised Broadcast for people to learn the truth but many more exciting innovative programs are forthcoming to teach us all more about our Government and our rights as Sovereign Citizens of America.

On November 14, 2002, there was a Freedom Drive to Washington for Redress of Grievances in an effort to get answers from our Government. Unfortunately, government officials just ignored this group and now the movement to restore us to a Constitutional Government has begun. Beow I have posted a portion of Bob Shultz's speech on the Mall in Washington, D.C.. It is powerful and he is telling the truth. Mr. Shultz is a born-again believer and loves our country. What he is telling us is something we would never learn in government controlled schools. I will post the second half of the speech tomorrow but you can read it in it's entirety at the We The People site. If the people will just quietly say no to anymore government intrusion into their lives and learn the truth for themselves, we can turn this country around and with God's help hold back the forces of evil for a little longer. That is my prayer.

The founding fathers, in an act of the Continental Congress in 1774, said, "If money is wanted by Rulers who have in any manner oppressed the People, [the People] may retain [their money] until their grievances are redressed, and thus peaceably procure relief, without trusting to despised petitions or disturbing the public tranquility."

This very American Right of Redress of Grievances Before Taxes is deeply embedded in our law.

The founding fathers could hardly have used words more clear when they declared, "the people … may retain [their money] until their grievances are [remedied]."

By these words, the founding fathers fully recognized and clearly stated: that the Right of Redress of Grievances includes the right of Redress Before payment of Taxes, that this Right of Redress Before Taxes lies in the hands of the People, that this Right is the People’s non-violent, peaceful means to procuring a remedy to their grievances without having depend on – or place their trust in -- the government’s willingness to respond to the People’s petitions and without having to resort to violence.

Before going further, I’d like to clarify two points: first, the question we are dealing with here is not whether the government has the power to tax, but whether the government is abusing its constitutionally limited power to tax; and second, there is the question of whether the government is using the tax revenue to effect other abuses of its authority.

The founding fathers were well acquainted with the fact that government is the enemy of Freedom, that those wielding governmental power despise petitions from the People; the representatives of the People, in a popular assembly, seem sometimes to fancy that they are the People themselves and exhibit strong symptoms of impatience and disgust at the least sign of opposition from any quarter.

The founding fathers knew that it was possible for the institutions of the Congress, the Executive and the Courts to someday begin to fail in their duty to protect the people from tyranny. They knew that unless the People had the right to withhold their money from the government their grievances might fall on deaf ears and Liberty would give way to tyranny, despotism and involuntary servitude.

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution states clearly and unambiguously, "Congress shall make NO law …abridging …the right of the people … to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

While some Rights are reserved with qualifications in the Bill of Rights, there are none whatsoever pertaining to the Right of Redress. There are no limits on the Right of Redress. Any constitutional offense is legitimately petitionable.

We have established that the Founding Fathers clearly declared that the Right of Redress of Grievances includes the Right to withhold payment of taxes while the grievance remains. By the 1st Amendment, the founding fathers secured for posterity the Right of Redress of Grievances Before payment of Taxes and they made the Right of Redress Before Taxes operate against "the government," that is, against all branches of "the government," -- the legislative, the executive and the judicial branches. Redress reaches all.

Notice that the founding fathers, sitting as the Continental Congress in 1774, held that this Right of Redress Before Taxes was the means by which "the public tranquility" was to be maintained. Then, sitting as the Constitutional Convention, the founding fathers declared that one of the major purposes of the (federal) government was to "insure domestic tranquility." Therefore, whenever this Right of Redress is violated, the People have a double grievance: a denial of justice by the government and, an incitement by the government to general unrest.



Today, our concern is the grievance that falls under the heading of a design to subvert the Constitution and laws of the country by those wielding governmental power.

Under this heading, all officers of the government are liable, if they strayed from their oath of office.

If we are to secure our Rights, we must rely on the laws of nature and a reasoned sense of innovation. To rely on precedent is to oppress posterity with the ignorance or chains of their fathers. Being forced by the government to rely on precedent is, itself, a grievance.

The sequence of Redress Before Taxes was well established in English law at a time when great numbers of Englishmen traveled to America. They brought with them English history and English law: they brought with them the principle of "taxes with consent"; the unlawfulness of "troops quartered in private homes," of "cruel and unusual punishments," and a whole collection of Rights, such as Redress, Speech, Assembly and Trial by Jury.

Any notion, spurious act of Congress or opinion by a Court that taxes must by paid before Redress is a perversion of Natural Law, of modern English law, of the American Constitution and of Truth and Justice.

The reverse principle of "Taxes Before Redress" is based on the essence of monarchy and kingly power: the king owns everything under his domain. People possess property under a monarch by his grace alone. Since a king owns everything under his domain, he merely has to speak to lawfully dispose of his property. Thus, if a king imposed a tax on land he imposed it on his own land and whoever occupied the land was obligated to pay the tax to the king’s treasury. A tax, then, being a part of the king’s property, was legally presumed to be in the possession of the king before and after its assessment.

Since the landholder, or landless subject, enjoyed the privilege of tenancy on the land only by the will of the king, he could be required to pay over the tax before he could contest the assessment—or redress a grievance.
Thus, the theory that a tax must be paid before redress rests on the presumption that society is organized as a monarchy; that all people living therein exist by grace of an autocrat – whether one man or an assembly of men. This proposition was soundly rejected by the Founders in designing our unique system of governance.

In America, such presumptions constitute grievances. The first duty of any officer is to uphold the Constitution – the entire Constitution, without reservation and without bribery or blackmail.

Petitioning the government for a Redress of Grievance naturally includes the ability to compel admissions – the production of information and answers to questions.

'Tax-and-spend' politics

When economic times were good throughout much of the 1990s – "good" times that, Americans now know, were largely based on corporate shams and political debauchery – governments from sea to shining sea basked in the glow of full coffers. Liberal paternalists and their allies in the RINO – Republicans In Name Only – Party created new programs and expanded old ones at a pace that suggested leaders local and national believed the golden rainbow would never fade.

Except that it did – as it always does.

Now, caught in an economic web of their own making, local and national leaders are scrambling to find ways to pay for all the largess they created. Programs outweigh available dollars, and while beneficiaries don't quite yet outnumber the wage earners and wealthy who support them, the ratio is certainly a lot lower now than 10 years ago, when the "boom" really began in earnest.

One way the socialist tax-and-spenders are using to refill their coffers is by punishing anyone who owns or rents a place to lay their weary heads at night.

As reported Tuesday, the U.S. Census Bureau says Americans paid 10.4 percent more in property taxes for the year ending June 30 compared to the same period a year earlier – an increase that was the highest since 1993, the first full year of the Clinton administration.

Taxes for the first half of this year were up 14.1 percent compared to the first six months of 2001, while second-quarter taxes skyrocketed 24 percent compared to the first three months of 2001.

Some areas are worse than others, but generally speaking, the issue is widespread. And, experts say, tax-and-spenders in other parts of the country are preparing to soak their constituents as well.

"There are probably 60 to 70 cities of 100,000 population that are contemplating it today," David Brunori, editor of State Tax Notes, a non-profit publication that tracks tax trends, told USA Today.

Some of the increase stems from higher property values – a good thing for land and home owners. However city, county and local governments also are raising tax rates to balance their budgets in the face of declining revenues due to the lingering recession.

Earlier this month New York City approved an 18.5 percent property-tax increase, while neighboring Westchester County, N.Y. – considered one of the wealthiest – is examining a 28.6 percent hike.

In Atlanta, meanwhile, officials hiked rates 50 percent this year, while Minnesota expects to increase rates at least 10 percent in 2003.

Some neighborhoods in Chicago have seen property taxes increase 75-100 percent. Coupled with utility increases, some rents have reached record levels. And Wisconsin raised property taxes 5.36 percent and 4.98 percent in 2001 and 2002 respectively.

"It is unfortunate that homeowners are being asked to bear the brunt of irresponsible spending policies," Peter Sepp, of the National Taxpayers Union told the paper.

Agreed. But even more egregious is American taxpayers' lack of widespread outrage over those who have made a career out of redistributing wealth from those who earn, deserve and are productive to those who don't earn, aren't deserving and are unproductive.

Supporters of this approach say property taxes, which account for an average of 70-75 percent of a municipality's income, are a necessary funding mechanism. Costs for fire and police protection, ambulance service, garbage collection, dog catching and street maintenance rise annually – a city has to have money to provide these essentials.

Fine. But what irks taxpayers is the wastefulness and lack of planning endemic in most government operations. Expanded programs, raised salaries and new expenditures do not go away when money is tight.

The problem is the same on the local and national level. Too many politicians think they must do too many things for too many people. Yet when government performs a function, it costs money that must be extracted from anyone who earns a wage. It's a simple concept but obviously not enough of us understand it.

Until we rid ourselves of tax-and-spend politicians, we're going to be stuck financing tax-and-spend politics.

When Jesus Comes to Bethlehem

Despite economic losses, the true meaning of Christmas still fills the hearts of Christians in Bethlehem.

CBN.com - BETHLEHEM — Christians around the world are preparing for the celebration of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago in the Judean town of Bethlehem. But Bethlehem is not nearly as quiet as it was in Jesus’ day. Instead, the little town finds itself caught in the crossfire of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Yet in spite of the recent turmoil, there are signs of revival and hope in the little town of Bethlehem.

Since the beginning of the Palestinians’ Intifada more than two years ago, Bethlehem has become a battlefield. The town used to be a hub of tourism, but now some areas of Bethlehem resemble a war zone. The fighting has had a devastating impact on the economy.

Yet despite the economic losses, the true meaning of Christmas still fills the hearts of Christians in Bethlehem.

"Christmas means God Himself became flesh, as it is mentioned in John 1:14, this flesh that came to our town — little Bethlehem — and we see the Heavens rejoice and we see the shepherds come to see this good news that a Savior is born in Bethlehem," said one Christian man.

Manger Square rests in the heart of Bethlehem. In most years, the square would be filled with tourists from around the world in anticipation of Christmas. But now it is mainly empty. Yet in the midst of the difficulties here in Bethlehem, some say there are signs of revival in the town where Jesus Christ was born.

Pastor Naim Khoury is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Bethlehem.

"I believe that from all my heart we've seen that in our work, in the days of troubles and difficulties and war, in the last two, three weeks, and the last year of troubles, we've been doubled in our attendance," Pastor Khoury said. "We've seen people getting saved every Sunday. And we are seeing the opening of the beginning of the revival in the Holy Land. And I believe revival should come and must come first before Jesus comes back again. And I believe that we're going to see that revival is happening soon."

As in many other local churches, the current situation has made it very difficult on the congregation.

"Ninety five percent of them are without a job, and we hope and pray this Christmas will be a breakthrough, it will bring peace for us and a rest so that people will have another chance and another opportunity to go and work and make a living for their family because they have it hard," said Pastor Khoury’s wife.

Khoury says the turmoil has led many to a deeper commitment to Jesus Christ. "They are in love with the Lord, they testify about Jesus wherever they go. We are seeing good results, we've been doubled in the church. We're seeing every single Sunday people coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ. Every single Sunday," he said.

"We've never, ever seen this happening in our community or in the West Bank," he continued. "That people are seeking for something different than they used to. I think the Word of God has been spread around. We've been preaching, witnessing, telling people about Jesus. And people are accepting that with great, great love and with great opening in their hearts and minds too."

Khoury has seen his people filled with a passion for God that he has rarely seen before.

"They are really very, very anxious and eager to know more and more about the Lord. We've been talking about the prophecies and the love of God and the end of time. And people ask questions, 'What's next?’ I said, ‘Next? You need to be ready. The Lord is coming soon. We have to go to our new Heavenly home. We are pilgrims, visitors here on earth. We are looking for this glorious home, glorious day when Jesus comes back again,’" he said.

Pastor Khoury believes this Christmas is a time not only to remember the first coming of Jesus Christ, but that today's turmoil in the Middle East holds the promise of his Second Coming.

"And I believe with all my heart that He is coming soon, and what is happening in the whole Middle East area and not only in the Middle East, but also in the whole world. That's a big sign to wake us up as Christians and to look that Jesus Christ is coming soon," he said.

Khoury believes it is especially important for Christians in the West to pray for and support the Christians in the Holy Land. And out of the furnace of affliction, he has a message for Christians in the West: "Don't take Christianity for granted. Don't take it lightly. Be deep in the Word. Love Jesus."

Good Morning Everyone. Isn't It Wonderful To Be A Christian!

Last night we experienced a wonderful communion service at our church. Our pastor once again went over the real meaning of Christmas. I know for sceptics out there this is not the time that Jesus was really born and the Wise Men did not come to Bethlehem until about two years after the birth. I know that pagans originally decorated trees and worshiped them. I know that Santa is from a pagan celebration and that commercialism has replaced the Lord. But for us last night in our little church, we remembered our Lord. We were once again reminded from the scriptures why He came and what that First Advent meant to us individually and to the world. We then once again took the bread and grape juice in memory of Him til He comes again!

God blessed us in that special service last night! We experienced His presence in such a sweet and peaceful way and as a church we were given joy for this season. Joy that our sins are forgiven through the blood of this one whose birth we celebrate. Joy that our famlies are saved and that we are on our road to heaven. Joy that no matter what happens our God is able to keep us and present us faultless before his throne. Joy that soon He is coming again and we will celebrate together communion with our Lord.

So let the naysayers go on doing what they do best. Let the liberal humanistic world blot His name out of every school and secular institution in the world. The truth is that He came to the world He created to redeem it unto himself and He lives in heart of every believer in this world and the evil one cannot ever take that away. In fact He put it best when He said in Matthew 16:18, "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Amen!

Do you have that peace and joy in your heart today. You can simply by asking Jesus into your heart to forgive your sins and be the Lord of your life. That is all he requires to become a child of God.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

As for us who already know Him as Lord, let us ponder what it means to be a Christian this special season just as Mary kept all things in her heart the day He was Born!

Good Morning and Merry Christmas Everyone.

Today I want to discuss an interesting idea that came to my mind last night. My sister and her husband, Nancy and Dennis Bazemore were at my home and we watched the Video entitled Six Day War: Was The Six Day War A Miracle. This is an awesome presentation of how Israel after thousands of years took Jerusalem from Jordanian control and the way it happened is nothing short of miraculous.

Having loved Bible Prophecy from a very early age this presentation was a thrilling thing to watch as God divinely interceded in the affairs of that tiny nation once again. Overnight, and under mysterious circumstances the Jordanian army left the Temple Mount and Israel just walked in and took it back. Remember that the third most "holy site of Islam" is there and the Jordanians just deserted it! The Jews were once more in control of the Temple Mount and many students of prophecy believe that this event started the prophetic time clock once more with regards to the coming Rapture of the Church, the ushering in of Antichrist, the 7 Year Tribulation Period and the Millennial Reign of Christ.

Now let me say first and foremost I am not a date setter. No one knows the exact day or hour when the Lord will begin to bring the things on this old earth to an end but the scriptures tell us, as in Matthew 24, that we can know the times.

The Jews failed to recognize their long awaited Messiah because the scriptures that taught about this such as the prophecies from Book of Daniel had not been taught. Today the world for the most part does not know the signs of the times because a majority of churches have not taught Bible Prophecy.

As I watched the video, I remembered the scriptures in the Old Testament concerning Israel and her forty years in the wilderness. After all the miracles of being delivered from Egypt and seeing the hand of God move to protect them and fulfill his promise to Abraham, they did not trust Him. Joshua and Caleb believed that they could take the Promised Land but the majority of the Israelites did not and because of that unbelief, God allowed Israel to wander in the desert for another forty years (Numbers Chapter 14). If you have time, I encourage you to read that portion of scripture it is fascinating.

Move forward now to 1967! Israel was handed Jerusalem almost as a gift fulfilling Bible Prophecy. Moshe Dyan was the Israeli leader at that time and because of reasons that boggle the mind, he gave control of the Temple Mount back to the Arabs! I believe he did it mainly out of fear of world reaction and outrage. Was this move due to unbelief? Has Israel been relegated to another 40 years of suffering because of this one strange decision? No one knows but this is something to really consider and watch as events unfold. If this idea has merit then the 40 years will end in 2007. This is something to Think About!

The "Quartet" has decided on the Issue of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and has a plan for developing two nations in the area. I have posted an article from CNN.com about their decisions below. Never mind what the Lord has said about the matter. The year for final settlement is 2005. Wow! God is at work in His land and it is a thrill to watch all that is happening. Remember that this region is to be site of earths Final Conflict with God and according to Scripture, He wins! Praise The Lord!

I pray that this little idea might bring about some interesting discussions and debate. However more than this, I pray that we see many more people saved before the Great and Terrible Day of The Lord! His Birthday that we are celebrating is so important but His Coming Again is even more so!

'Mideast quartet' OKs '99.5 percent' of U.S. proposal

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A draft "road map" drawn up by the so-called "Mideast quartet" says the ultimate goal for the troubled region is a "final and comprehensive settlement of the Israel-Palestinian conflict by 2005" -- a process that must first begin with an immediate cease-fire.

"A settlement, negotiated between the parties, will result in the emergence of an independent, democratic and viable Palestinian state living side-by-side in peace and security with Israel and its other neighbors. The settlement will resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and end the occupation that began in 1967," the seven-page draft says.

CNN late Friday obtained a copy of the draft, which has yet to be fully approved. A senior diplomat said members of the "quartet" -- made up of the United States, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations -- have "agreed to 99.5 percent of the road map."

Delegates from the quartet met Friday in Washington -- first at the U.S. State Department and then at the White House with President Bush -- to discuss the proposal.

In a written statement after the meetings, the participants said that, "based upon a common understanding on the content and goals of this process," the group had "made substantial progress toward finalizing a road map for presentation to the parties in the near future."


U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan: Implementation of the "road map" will require "sacrifices by both sides and parallel steps from both sides."


"The quartet calls for an immediate, comprehensive, cease-fire," the statement said. "All Palestinian individuals and groups must end all acts of terror against Israelis, in any location. ... Such a cease-fire should be accompanied by supportive measures undertaken by the government of Israel."

United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan said the implementation of the road map "will require sacrifices by both sides and parallel steps from both sides."

The United States was going to publicly release the plan at the quartet meeting, but under pressure from Israel it decided not to until Israeli parliamentary elections are over next month.

U.S. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher called the decision to delay "just a recognition of the reality of decision-making and the state of play in the government of Israel."

Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov called the draft "a good document."

"The most important thing is to implement it," he said. "That is our main objective now."

Under the draft road map, the quartet lays out three phases for Israel and Palestinians to follow.

Phase 1: Present to May 2003
• At the outset, the Palestinian leadership must issue an "unequivocal statement reiterating Israel's right to exist in peace and security, and calling for an immediate and unconditional cease-fire to end armed activity and all acts of violence against Israelis anywhere."

• At the same time, the Israeli leadership must issue an "unequivocal statement affirming its commitment to the two-state vision of an independent, viable, sovereign Palestinian state living in peace and security alongside Israel." That statement also must call for an end "to violence against Palestinians everywhere."

• The draft also says Israel must withdraw from Palestinian areas from September 28, 2000 -- when the current intifada began -- and that both sides "restore the status quo that existed at that time."

• Security measures must be undertaken by both sides. A new Palestinian security apparatus must be established with its operations "aimed at confronting all those engaged in terror and dismantlement of terrorist capabilities and infrastructure."

• Israel cannot take any actions "undermining trust, including [proactive security measures], deportations, attacks on civilians; confiscation and/or demolition of Palestinian homes and property, as a punitive measure or to facilitate Israeli construction; and destruction of Palestinian institutions or infrastructure."

• Quartet representatives will begin informal monitoring of the situation on the ground during this phase. The draft also calls on Arab states to "cut off public and private funding and all other forms of support for groups supporting and engaging in violence and terror."

• This phase also details measures for Palestinian institution building, including a process to produce a draft constitution for the eventual Palestinian state. It also calls on Israel to take measures to improve the humanitarian situation in the territories, including the lifting of curfews and easing of transportation of goods.

Phase 2: June 2003-December 2003
With such a leadership, reformed civil institutions and security structures, the Palestinians will have the active support of the quartet and the broader international community in establishing an independent, viable state.

Phase 2 is focused on the creation of an "independent Palestinian state with provisional borders." It says such a provisional state can only be achieved once the Palestinian people have chosen leaders "uncompromised by terror" and "willing and able to build a practicing democracy based on tolerance and liberty."

"With such a leadership, reformed civil institutions and security structures, the Palestinians will have the active support of the quartet and the broader international community in establishing an independent, viable state," the draft says.

• During this phase, an international conference will be held to support Palestinian economic recovery and leading to the establishment of the provisional state "with provisional borders." At that time, Arab states are to "restore pre-intifada links to Israel."

Phase 3: 2004-2005
... agreed, just, fair and realistic solution to the refugee issue, and a negotiated resolution on the status of Jerusalem that takes into account the political and religious concerns of both sides, and protects the religious interests of Jews, Christians and Muslims worldwide.

At the start of 2004, another international conference will be held to "formally launch a process with the active, sustained and operational support of the quartet, leading to a final permanent status resolution by 2005, including on borders, Jerusalem, refugees, (and) settlements."

The quartet will then work with both sides to try to make sure the deadline is met by the end of 2005 that will result in a Palestinian state, ending the "occupation that began in 1967."

The final settlement will also result in an "agreed, just, fair and realistic solution to the refugee issue, and a negotiated resolution on the status of Jerusalem that takes into account the political and religious concerns of both sides, and protects the religious interests of Jews, Christians and Muslims worldwide."

• The last line of the draft says Arab states must accept "full normal relations with Israel and security for all the states of the region in the context of a comprehensive Arab-Israeli peace."

Israeli elections
The Bush administration said it will make the plan public after Israeli general elections, which are set for January 28. Israeli Prime Minister and Likud party leader Ariel Sharon will face off with Labor Party candidate Amram Mitzna for the post of prime minister.

Mitzna has promised to restart talks immediately with the Palestinians and give the talks a chance for one year. He also said he would order a total Israeli evacuation from Gaza.

Sharon takes a harder line on relations with the Palestinians, and says substantive negotiations are dependent on the Palestinian Authority reining in armed groups. He also rejects Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat as a negotiating partner and strongly backs existing Jewish settlements in the occupied territories.

The Christmas Story! Isn't it remarkable how the Living Word of God never grows old. With just a few day until Christmas I thought it would be nice to just simply read His story again. With this story comes our hope for tomorrow. It is so wonderful to realize that our Father left nothing to chance in bringing our Savior into the world. Every Old Testament Prophecy came true and the New Testament documents the entire blessed event. What is amazing to me is that with all of the prophecies, the Jewish people did not recognize this important event in the history of the world. Sadly today the world still rejects their Messiah as Savior and Lord.

PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE LORD! THE STORY OF THE FIRST CHRISTMAS


Luke 1
5 THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

Today I decided to change topics because I think this article is a perfect example of the propaganda we are being fed. "The more things change, the more they remain the same". I have heard that old phrase for many years and this World Net Daily article allows us to look into the truth of the statement.

The art of Psycho-Political warfare has been perfected in the world and it is so deceitful that those who are victims do not even realize that they are in a battle. When the Republicans took over control of both Houses of Congress, I knew that time would tell if it would mean a change for the better in America. Well here we are after one month and what are we witnessing? Instead of key issues vital to America, we are viewing a political power play to replace Trent Lott (who has sold his soul) and move the Republicans to a more moderate position. Night after night we are barraged with more vile information on this issue until finally we all get sick of hearing about the matter and tune it out. That is Psycho-Politics. It is a battle for the mind. After enough propaganda is sent out, we will see legislation that takes more freedoms away from the people. Also, we will see government intrude even more into our lives.

I predict that we will not see a return at all to Constitutional Government in America. I believe that those in power whether they be Republican or Democrat have a different agenda for America. That agenda is to destroy our Sovereignty and put us under the control of the United Nations. Time will tell if my predictions are correct.

If you take a look at what is happening to education, churches and property rights you will see that even the Republicans are doing nothing to restore our freedoms. Instead, they are playing the game with the Left and if the truth be known, they are using confusion to dull down American Outrage! The article below is one example of how things will never change if the road we are on continues. Christians and Conservatives should be outraged if this man becomes Senate Leader but I fear no one will say anything. Remember that Lott must go! Think About It!

WASHINGTON – Everyone knows Sen. Bill Frist, R-Tenn., is the upper house's only physician. But who is this man who appears likely to become the next Senate majority leader?

Opponents of abortion on demand are likely to be deeply disappointed. While Trent Lott, R-Miss., had promised to bring to the floor for a quick, early vote a bill restricting partial-birth abortion, Frist championed the nomination by President Clinton of former Surgeon General David Satcher, a fervent supporter of unrestricted abortion and someone who actually performed abortions.

Satcher continued to serve in the Bush administration until earlier this year.

While Satcher's nomination was widely presumed to have originated with Vice President Al Gore, like Satcher, a Tennessean, his confirmation was actually championed by Frist.

Frist once told National Public Radio that there are no absolute right, absolute wrong answers in medicine. During last year's stem-cell debate, Frist proposed using leftover embryos from in vitro fertilization clinics for scientific research. The Weekly Standard also noted that Frist believes there is a moral imperative to use one unsalvageable life to save another.

Frist's other pet causes while serving in the Senate have been fighting AIDS in Africa and fighting obesity among Americans. He believes the federal government needs to increase funding of physical education programs in school. He thinks spending $125 million on a Centers for Disease Control program encouraging children to engage in athletics is another top priority.

He sponsored a bill earlier this year that would have authorized a nationwide ad campaign to promote better nutrition and exercise and would have authorized money for bicycle paths, parks and recreation centers.

According to sources close to the White House, Frist has been favored by Bush political adviser Karl Rove to take the helm of the Senate Republicans ever since Lott got himself embroiled in controversy with his remarks at Sen. Strom Thurmond's 100th birthday party.

Now Frist reportedly is considering a bid to oust Lott.

According to the Associated Press, GOP aides say Frist, now in his second term, is gauging support from his colleagues, having spent time sounding them out by telephone.

One aide, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Frist would consider running for the job if colleagues asked him to do so "for the sake of the Senate as an institution or the long-term agenda of the Republican Party.''

In a sign that Frist might be building momentum, a Republican aide close to No. 2 Senate Republican Don Nickles of Oklahoma said Nickles would likely support a race by Frist.

Nickles, a longtime rival of Lott, believes he would have less support from colleagues than Frist for majority leader, the aide said.

Meanwhile, Lott sustained a double-barreled setback this week as Sen. Lincoln Chafee, R-R.I., broke ranks to call for a change in party leadership and Secretary of State Colin Powell forcefully criticized his controversial remarks on race.

"I believe it's time to make a change," Chafee told reporters in his home state. "I think the process is happening," he said, encouraging the White House to step in to help ease Lott from power.

Powell, the highest-ranking African American in the Bush administration, made his first comments on a controversy that flared this month when Lott spoke favorably of Sen. Strom Thurmond's segregationist presidential campaign of a half-century ago.

"If the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years either," Lott said at Thurmond's 100th birthday.

"I was disappointed in the senator's statement," Powell said. "I deplored the sentiments behind the statement."

"There was nothing about the 1948 election or the Dixiecrat agenda that should have been acceptable in any way to any American at that time or any American now."

Lott has maintained a defiant pose, insisting he would fight for his job at a Jan. 6 meeting of GOP rank and file senators and swiping at suggestions from anonymous officials with ties to the White House that he step down.

"There seems to be some things that are seeping out that have not been helpful," he said in Biloxi, Miss. "I understand how that happens because you've got a lot of people who work there that have different points of view," he told reporters.

"But I believe they do support what I am trying to do here and the president will continue to do so."

As WorldNetDaily reported earlier, nearly two-thirds of Americans believe Lott should be replaced as Republican leader, according to the results of a new survey.

Sixty-two percent say GOP senators should replace Lott when they meet Jan. 6, compared to just 18 percent who think he should remain the party's senate chief.

First winning entry to the Senate in 1994, Frist was re-elected in 2000 by the largest margin ever received by a candidate for statewide election in Tennessee history. He's the first practicing physician elected to the chamber since 1928.

A native of Nashville, Frist founded and subsequently directed the Vanderbilt Transplant Center, which became an internationally renowned center of multi-organ transplantation. He's performed some 200 heart and lung transplants and has written more than 100 articles, chapters and abstracts on medical research, as well as three books.

RELIGOUS LIBERTY GONE: PART THREE

Good morning everyone.

Today I am posting the third part of the series on the loss of religous freedom in America. This sad story details what has happened to a sleeping Country and Church. The facts as to what happened to the Indiana Baptist Temple reveal in graphic terms that America has lost her freedoms!

If you think we are free then consider these facts.

We now have City, County, State and Federal taxes. We have school tax, property tax, local option taxes, phone tax and sales taxes and on and on. You must have a Drivers License and Social Security number to conduct business or get a job. We are required to purchase a license to practice medicine and cut hair , trim toenails or teach. Your car is owned by the State (that is for another post) and your property is not your own. Just try to build something without a building permit. Little by little ( "Two steps forward and one step back") our freedoms have been taken away. Think about it!

Internal Revenue Service: PASTORS MUST BE ORDAINED BY THE IRS

Many have asked if we can actually show them this in the law. Our answer is no, we can't because you won't find a specific law that says that you can't preach on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in America today. That's because they don't have to write a law to gain the same effect. All Congress has to do is to give an outlaw agency like the IRS a carte blanche privilege of making up their own so-called laws as they go along. The churches agreed to this when they signed their tax-exempt contract. They said that they would obey all laws, federal, state and local, presently and in the future. But they apparently didn't read the fine print. The new churches filing for tax exemption must agree to the following: "The Corporation or organization shall have no power to take any action that would be required for a tax exemption under Internal Revenue

Code Section 501(c)(3) and related regulations, rulings, and procedures." It is now the "procedure" of the IRS to refuse tax exempt status to those churches that will not agree that all religions are equal and who refuse to join through tax exemption, the world church. Also, preaching on Christ's coming is taboo.

For those churches which are foolish enough to believe that Sec. 508 of the IRS code allows an automatic exemption for churches, need to read it again. It doesn't say "exemption," it says, "...churches have a mandatory exception." The exception is from filing a Form 1023 to make application for not for profit status. Here is the kicker. Churches have to abide by the same rules that those that do file for this privilege. And if they do not, the IRS can, and most assuredly will, remove their tax exemption. The only thing missing is the annual Form 990 that other religious organizations have to file. When this is required, the churches will be under total control of the IRS with no wiggle room.

In the Baptist Temple court case, the church learned that a New Testament Church does not legally exist in the US today because there are no longer any First Amendment protections left. The genius of the First Amendment and various religious freedom clauses of the fifty states is that, for the first time in history, a N. T. Church could exist legally without having in the words of the IRS a "distinct legal existence." Now even a N.T. Church will be assigned by force the legal status of an association and will be expected to meet the same standards that the not for profits have to meet. But, they still won't have their God given right of a non-taxable status. This status is in contrast to an exempt status which is a privilege not a right.

IRS Agent Says That Churches are Trapped

The evidence as to what we are saying, though denied by most preachers, was made clear on January 24 this year in Tampa, Florida. IRS agent Melvin Blough testified in federal court that "once a church obtains the status of 501(c)(3) under the IRC they are trapped. The only way to be removed from a 501(c)(3) status is if the IRS chooses to remove the exemption. So if you dissolve the corporation and continue on as ABC church, an unincorporated church, you're still trapped in their web and under their control." He further testified that a church is automatically exempt under federal law without a 501(c)(3) designation. He also stated under oath that churches request the status just to get the governments stamp of approval. Even though Blough used the word "exemption" rather than "exception," he is essentially correct in his assessment of the plight of the churches of America. It is obvious that, regardless, the result is the same.

Good morning everyone. I am posting Part Two to the article from the Indiana Baptist Temple Publication. The revelations in this report are horrible and should send shock waves throughout the Christian Community! Sadly, I fear that the churches in America are not even aware that this is going on.

I am convinced even more than ever that we are seeing the early seeds of the forced membership into the New World Church. I also believe that there are three things Christians must do now. We must repent of our sins and pray for our churches. God is in control and He will bring to light every dark deed and will protect His Church!

As Christians, it is imperative that we become informed of all that is happening so none of this will take us by suprise.

Internal Revenue Service: PASTORS MUST BE ORDAINED BY THE IRS

The benevolent requirements for churches are beyond atrocious. They are five in number: food, clothing, housing, medical emergencies and utilities. The church cannot help with transportation or auto repairs and a myriad of other things that churches have historically done on a regular basis. The church cannot make loans to the pastor, members, or others which churches have always done. Obviously, they want to make sure that the money lenders get their profits even from the poor. Can you imagine the government of the US limiting a church as to its duties in regarding charitable activity? There is no subject in the Bible that is nearer to the heart of God than charity. According to the apostle James, it is the test of pure religion (James 1:27). Paul the Apostle declares that charity is of higher value even than preaching and sacrifice (I Cor. 13:1-3). For the churches to debase such a high and noble service to Christ by submitting its administration to the wicked IRS is beyond belief. How will the preachers of America give an account of caving into this coercion by an abusive Bush administration who is continuing with the policies of those before him? How will church leaders face the Lord Jesus at the Judgment Seat of Christ when He asks them why they violated His clear commands concerning alms giving? He said, "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men, Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly." But now the churches are required to get the permission of the IRS before helping someone other than in the manner and purpose that they approve. Then records will have to be kept for the IRS so that the publicans can make sure that the church is in fact following their guidelines. And, of course, they expect church leaders to report this alms giving to the IRS so that they can even gouge the poor for more tribute. And all of this so the churches can keep their tax exemption and the people can get their precious tax deductions for their tithes and gifts. As James Dobson's organization said when challenged, "It's just good stewardship." Thievery, good stewardship? How sad.

It may be that the churches have now gone too far. When they begin building their dynasties on the backs of the poor our Lord, no doubt, will be swift in His removal of their candlestick. He said to the church at Ephesus, "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works: or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent" (Rev. 2:5).

All Churches Now Required to Join IRS Super Church

It is now a fact that in order to get and keep the tax-exempt status a church must agree that all religions are equal. The new Application for Recognition of Exemption Form 1023 Schedule A for Churches (Rev. September 1998) demands a declaration to this effect with the following words at point #3: "Does the organization require prospective members to renounce other religious beliefs or their membership in other churches or religious orders to become members? Yes__ No__. If "Yes," describe."

It doesn't take much intelligence to figure out where they are going with this. In order to be considered a legal church (tax exempt) in America, the church or religious organization will have to declare that all religions are equal. They will also have to declare that they do not believe that their doctrinal position only results in converts to their faith having eternal life. They must renounce this narrow inclusivist position. Maybe we now know why Billy Graham, Robert Schuller, Pat Robertson, and other TV preachers have been making such fuzzy remarks about adherents of other religions, though sincere, going to heaven without receiving Christ. In that tax exemption is government subsidy, according to the Supreme Court in the Bob Jones University case, it is now clear that the US government will not support any religion that clings to the narrow minded belief that salvation is in Jesus Christ alone. Remember? "Come Shekels, Come Shackles." The world church isn't coming; it is already here, and the preachers don't have a clue as they go merrily along hand in hand with the Great Harlot to the wedding with the anti-Christ. (Rev. 17).

US Government Through the IRS Outlaws Preaching on Second Coming of Christ

One of the reasons the IRS gave to Texe Marr's Living Truth Ministries for removing their tax exempt status is as follows: "Much of the material you disseminate promises to address possible conspiracies or threats, either from individuals, groups or various agencies, against Christianity, freedom or other rights. This is evident from a review of your newsletters and order forms. The titles and promotional materials are designed to sensationalize and grab the readers attention. They usually imply that the works will expose certain prominent groups, individuals, politicians or government agencies as being part of or linked to some threat or conspiracy." One of the titles that the IRS gave as an example included "Bible Prophecy and The Conspiracy."

Any grade school child in Sunday School knows that you can't teach or write on Bible prophecy without dealing with the second coming of Jesus Christ. But just as the Russian pastors under communism were forbidden to speak on this subject, we are now coming to the same place in our beloved land. It is obvious that if one believes in the literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ that they will be considered a domestic terrorist. In that the Lord Jesus will destroy wicked government upon His return in great glory and break the back of Gentile world rule, this message isn't popular with the in-for-hells and the high-heeled-belles that run our country today. Of course, they don't believe that He is coming, but they believe that we who do will be involved in what they call self-fulfilled prophecies and try to hasten His coming by blowing up everything in sight. Further evidence of this type of anti-Christ thinking surfaced recently when a brochure put out by the FBI in Phoenix, Arizona, named "potential domestic terrorists" that law enforcement should be aware of. One of those groups is "Doomsday/Cult-Type." Obviously, this would include all Bible believing preachers and churches in America. We not only believe that there will be a literal doomsday, we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will bring the doom when He comes (Rev. 6:12-17). It won't do any good to claim that your church is not a "cult". The IRS definition fits the average Bible believing church to a tee.

Religous Liberty Is Gone!

This statement is true and the people in our country do not even know about it. Why? The truth is that the churches have been shackled down by the IRS with our governments permission. Once before I wrote about the fact that churches who have incorporated, have been muzzled. With the promise of the ever famous tax deduction people have been told it was better to give to God than Uncle Sam. We were all happy that we could claim tax deductions for our tithes. With the truth about the fraudulant income tax system getting out more and more every day, it sickens me to see what has been done under the "Power to Tax".

The Indiana Baptist Temple if you will remember was demonized by the press for not paying witholding taxes. You were probably not told that the people had paid their taxes personally. The government came in and confiscated their property, hauled the pastor out on a stretcher and locked the doors of the church. Now a charter public school is to go on the property that belongs to the Lord. In this four part series I am sharing with you a November 2001 article from the IBT Publication, The Trumpet. This is going to shock you!

I believe that the New World Order crowd who's goal is a One World Religion has found the way to force churches into their evil ecumenical organization. If this is true, the day is soon coming when the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in America will have to go underground. It can happen here. Think About It!

Internal Revenue Service: PASTORS MUST BE
ORDAINED BY THE IRS

The most prominent and successful certified public accountant firm in the nation today, that specializes in keeping churches out of trouble with the Internal Revenue Service, is now boldly saying to the pastors of America that they not only have to be "ordained by God, but also the IRS."

They also say that the IRS is dictating terms to the churches by declaring in clear and no uncertain terms that, "The government doesn't want your Bible, they want your checkbook!" In seminars all over the US, Chitwood and Chitwood of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is repeating this startling announcement to pastors and church leaders. Without so much as a blush, Michael Chitwood, the main speaker, says, besides the above quotes, "Pastor, if you don't get your house in order, get ready, you are going to have a jail ministry" as he practically screams out to those present as to what pastors and church leaders must do to avoid jail time and the confiscation of church property by the federal government.

Besides giving the pastor his job description, which is based on the Roman Catholic model of worship and polity, the IRS is demanding many other things that are clearly designed to make the IRS Commissioner the new head of the churches in America Some of these demands are as follows: The church must collect a Federal ID (Social Security) number from visiting evangelists, missionaries, preachers and singers before they invite them to the pulpit. They must give a Form 1099 to any minister who receives up to $600 in a years time, which includes missionary support. If the ID is not received, the church leaders must withhold a jeopardy assessment of 39% on the spot and send it to the IRS. They must agree to the IRS definition of benevolence. They cannot deal in cash at any level, but must deposit all offerings into a checking account and write checks for every purpose. This means, of course, that the church, in order to conduct its ministry, has to have an Employer Identification Number which must be provided by the IRS by filing Form SS-4 which a true New Testament church could never do and remain obedient to her Lord. In fact, church leaders would have to misrepresent the church as a religious organization rather than a N.T. Church to do so. Other things that pastors and church leaders are required to do are to be an informer against their members and also to preach only IRS prescribed sermons. Also, all fund raising material must be submitted to the IRS for their approval.

The job description for pastors is a list of nine specific sacerdotal duties which again is a Roman Catholic definition meaning sacred. The Catholic church teaches that these sacraments, when administered by a priest, are essential to ones salvation. This is totally opposite to the Bible definition which states that baptism and communion are memorials of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that they follow salvation. The nine duties are: baptisms, weddings, serving the Eucharist (the Catholic sacrament of communion), teaching , spiritual counseling, christenings or baby dedications, administration of church affairs and the regular conducting of worship services. If the pastor does a substantial number of these things, he will receive very lucrative tax breaks. This is in clear violation of the scriptures concerning the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes which the Lord Jesus said that He hates (Rev. 2:6, 2:15). It is the setting up of a privileged class of clergy with benefits from the state that lay members do not receive. Others who minister to the church in the area of music, youth, children, education and other areas of responsibility don't qualify.

This is consistent with what officials of the IRS told Attorney David Gibbs of the Christian Law Association (CLA) in 1984 when they said that their definition of church is "once per week adult worship." They said that they did not consider such ministries as Sunday school, Christian school, busses, youth camp, vacation Bible school, nursing home, etc., to fall within their definition of the word "church". This Gibbs/IRS meeting took place in Washington, DC at the time that the so called champion of Christian liberty was hammering out a compromise with the Dole Committee (Sen. Bob Dole-R-Kansas) in the US Senate to bring the churches into compliance with the FICA tax (social security) laws. This was the deal that would eventually cause the raid and seizure of the Baptist Temple 17 years later. It's too bad that Gibbs didn't sound the alarm at that time and call the Bible believing pastors together for a summit meeting to map out a strategy that could have possibly saved our churches and ministries. The unregistered church pastors tried, but unfortunately our words fell on deaf ears. The so called "big" preachers were too busy receiving their tax deductible gifts and building their empires to be concerned over the future of God's work. Now the enemies of Christ have sprung the trap and it is too late.

These requirements should be intolerable enough by just the fact that the IRS would even dare to suggest duties for pastors, but to impose under the penalty of imprisonment and confiscation of property the same responsibilities of Roman Catholic priests is nothing short of naked tyranny. Obviously, the inquisition has returned and the pastors and churches of America are not even aware that it has arrived. The raid and seizure of the property of the Baptist Temple is the direct result of the pastors and church refusing to bow down to this new wave of Catholic terror that has come upon our land. The issue in the Baptist Temple case isn't taxes as the IRS, with the help of the media, has led the people of Indianapolis and nation to believe. The issue is very simple. Will the churches of America bow down to the IRS in violation of the first commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," or will they bow down to the Lord Jesus Christ? Our Lord said, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Matthew 6:24). The purge is now on as we hear of churches and ministries being closed on a regular basis. But there is still no evidence that the pastors have awakened from their stupor.

Christmas is right around the corner and coming fast. Can you believe how quickly the time is flying? My Mom told me that the older we get, the faster time goes! Well she was right and tonight I have a lot of packages to wrap, two more presents to buy and all that will be left is the shouting.

Thank you Lord for allowing us to come together as a Christian Family and celebrate your birthday.

The truth is that today I am greatful that He not only came but that he endured the cross and rose from the dead so that people like you and I could be reconciled back to God our Father. This Christmas my favorite song will still be, Amazing Grace.

There is one Christmas Carol that has always baffled me. What in the world do leaping lords, French hens, swimming swans, and especially the partridge who won't come out of the pear tree have to do with Christmas?
Well just read on:

From 1558 until 1829, Christians in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this Christmas Carol as a coded song for the younger Christians. It has two levels of meaning, the
surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of the Christian Faith. Each element in the carol has a code word for a Christian reality which the children could remember.
1. The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.
2. Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.
3. Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.
4. The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
5. The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books.
6. The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creating.
7. Seven swans a swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership and Mercy.
8. The eight maids a milking were the eight beatitudes.
9. Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruit of the Holy
Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Temperence.
10. The ten lords a leaping were the Ten Commandments.
11. The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful
Disciples..
12. The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve Apostles and the twelve Tribes of Israel.

So there is your history for today. I found it interesting and enlightening and now I know how that a strange song became a Christmas Carol.......So now you know why some of the songs on the surface make no sense!

HERE THEY GO AGAIN!

Well here is an interesting article. PBS is at it again. In our "politically correct" environment, tax money has to be used to support the religion of our enemies. I doubt we will hear much from the ACLU about this little endeavor. The Rockefeller Foundation is supporting this interesting little project and of course their goal is a One World Government and a One World Religion.

The Worlds Church will be a place where all faiths are one big happy family and no one questions the other. It will be a kind of potpourri of faith! One Big Happy Family if you will. Of course true Christians cannot be a part of such an organization because it denies the Christ. However if you read some of the New Age Publications, they have that problem worked out!

PBS is planning a special series of 'documentaries' designed to 'counter negative images' of Islam in America. In other words, pro-Islam propaganda. The following was originally an Omega Letter Intelligence Digest Special Subscriber's Report, but we feel more people need to know what is being done by your government in your name using your money.



Special Report: PBS To Set Record Straight on Islam


The Public Broadcasting System, paid for by taxpayer funds, grants from private foundations like the Rockefeller Foundation, and 'from viewers like you' plans to run a two-hour apologetic for the prophet Mohammed as part of an effort to 'counter negative images' of Muslims, according to its creators.


The documentary, according to producer Alex Kronemer, an American convert to Islam with a master's degree in theology from Harvard University, sets out to prove that "every Muslim is not Osama bin Laden".


Sounds reasonable enough, until you think that through for a second. Do YOU think that every Muslim is Osama bin Laden? No? Me neither.


If there are six billion people on earth and 2 billion of them are Muslim, if every Muslim were Osama bin Laden, the entire planet would be engaged in hand-to-hand combat at this second.


So what is the real purpose of the documentary? Kronemer explains that, "Americans get most of their images about Islam and Muslims from the headlines. Demonstrations and shouting in the streets makes the news, and those images are repeated."


Kronemer, a Muslim, wants to show the 'other side' of Islam - the side of Islam that Kronemer admits can't be seen by the casual observer -- you know, the REAL Islam.


The examples he cites of 'demonstrations and shouting in the streets' isn't REAL Islam, as everybody from the White House to this taxpayer funded religious 'documentary' would have us believe. The real Islam, nay, the VAST MAJORITY of Islam -- isn't like that.


Let's individualize this for a second and see how it sounds. Admittedly, the analogy isn't perfect, but it DOES provide a basis for comparison.


Let's pretend that Islam is a guy named Fred. Fred prays six times a day. Whenever you see him, he is either praying, or he is fighting with his neighbors. Every time one of his neighbors does something that offends him, he beats up one of his neighbor's kids.


If the parents object, he burns down their house. If they call the police, he kills one of his neighbors at random in retaliation. Everybody in the neighborhood is terrified of Fred.


After a while, Fred gets arrested. His lawyer tells the court that what they see isn't the REAL Fred. The REAL Fred is the guy who prays for his neighbors six times a day. It's the BAD Fred that then goes out and kills them.


The PROSECUTOR introduces a video of Fred produced BY Fred with money extorted from his neighbors showing Fred praying FOR his neighbors. No other witnesses are allowed to testify about the bad Fred.


The DEFENSE says Fred is misunderstood. The PROSECUTOR 'counters' that Fred is really a peaceful guy who is basically misjudged based on 'incorrect perceptions' of what Fred's neighbors observed.


And while the trial is going on, neighborhood houses keep going up in flames, neighbors keep dropping like flies, and the jury judges Fred based on the 'evidence'.


If that doesn't qualify as a fair trial for an individual, how then does a taxpayer-funded apologetic for Islam produced by a Muslim who says up front it is propaganda designed 'to counter negative images' (translation: negative public observations) qualify as a 'documentary'?


Answer: It doesn't. It qualifies as taxpayer-funded religious proselytizing MASQUERADING as a 'documentary'.


Now, I am not just tilting at windmills, here. Can you imagine a taxpayer-funded documentary produced by Jerry Falwell airing on PBS dedicated to proselytizing Christianity?


There are such programs -- they are called 'religious broadcasts' and it is illegal to use a single dollar of federal money in their production or distribution under the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution.


(Or else it wouldn't be illegal to pledge 'One America under God' in public).


But "Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet" will air on most of the 349 PBS affiliates nationwide Dec. 18. The Washington DC PBS station will broadcast the program Dec. 26.


PBS also plans to rebroadcast "Muslims," a two-hour "Frontline" special, on Dec. 19. (Merry Christmas)


This is the equivalent to a PBS broadcast on the success of Christianity entitled, "Jesus, Legacy of the Son of God", except you will never see that on PBS. It's illegal.


But PBS points proudly to its record, saying it also produces documentaries about Christianity. For example, what about "From Jesus to Christ", for example?


That 'documentary' traces the 'transformation' of the 'real' Jesus from a Jewish carpenter to the Christ of Christian 'mythology'. There! Don't you feel better now?


Daniel Pipes, director of the Middle East Forum and author of "Militant Islam Reaches America," said yesterday that he had only "seen advance materials" of the production.


"But all of this suggests that the American taxpayer is subsidizing an attempt to proselytize Islam in America," according to Pipes.


In the past two weeks, Pat Robertson took on President Bush, who visited a Washington mosque Dec. 5 and praised Muslims who "lead lives of honesty, integrity and morality."


In interviews with The Washington Times and ABC, Robertson called Islam "violent at its core," and said that President Bush should refrain from religious commentary, as he "is not elected as chief theologian."


ABC characterized the dust-up as "a theological dispute which is driving a political wedge between President Bush and some of his conservative Christian allies."


A 'THEOLOGICAL dispute'? Between what theologians? Is the president a secular politician or an Islamic theologian? ABC doesn't say.


(But you can bet Peter Jennings would question Bush's role as 'chief theologian' as loudly as Robertson did, had Bush said that Christianity "'draws the world's attention to it's basic tenets, its message of peace and tolerance, and also it's contribution to mankind' as he said of Islam at the conclusion of Ramadan)


Good grief! A 'theological dispute' that sparked World War Three with the deaths of three thousand Americans on September 11, 2001? THAT 'theological' dispute?


Meanwhile, representatives from PBS and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) said yesterday that they have received NO negative responses from viewers about the new program, or its scheduled air time of Christmas week. (Who knows? Maybe YOU can be first. But you'll have to race me)


The project is funded by a veritable 'Who's Who' of special interest groups -- mostly Islamic. (In addition to your tax dollars)


The program has received money from CPB's Diversity Fund, which has granted $1.2 million to five other projects that create "a biography of American culture and society in the 21st century," according to CPB President Robert Coonrod.


Funds have also come from Arabian Bulk Trading Ltd., the El-Hibri Foundation, the Sabadia Family Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Irfan Kathwari Foundation, the Qureishi Family trust, and about 4,000 individuals, according to the Islam Project, a nonprofit group that publicizes Muslim issues here and abroad.


PBS will offer educational materials on Islam at its Web site, beginning this weekend, including a "virtual Hajj" - the pilgrimage to Mecca required of Muslims - interactive timelines, a discussion forum and "more information about Muhammad and women, violence, other religions, the Koran, the Jews of Medina and America."


The show has generated the interest of the National Council of International Visitors and the Interfaith Alliance, which plan to organize local community viewing and discussion groups, according to the State Department's Office of International Information Programs.


(No word on when the State Department plans to organize special community groups to watch a documentary on Christ funded by the Southern Baptist Conference, the National Organization of Evangelicals, Jerry Falwell's Liberty University, the International Christian Coalition and federal tax money and written by Hal Lindsey and Jack Kinsella - stay tuned)


Clearly, you will be waiting a long, long time to see any evangelical Christian group get a federally funded, Spirit-filled documentary of the theology of Christ and the legacy of Christianity onto PBS.


The PBS documentary is part of a federal effort to rehabilitate Islam and thereby appease Islam without appearing to appease Islam in the hope of avoiding all out war with the Islamic world.


Except for one detail. The Islamic world has ALREADY declared all-out war with the West, both in word and deed.


Still, promoting Islam in America is a federal effort, while the same federal government continues to do all it can to eradicate Jesus from the public discourse.


But the best efforts of the world to deny Jesus serve only to prove the accuracy of Scripture and reality of Jesus as Savior. Jesus explained this principle during His earthly ministry. It was Jesus Himself Who set the standard by which we would know the truth.


"I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." (John 5:43)
