Oh America

Good morning everyone. Today I am not posting an upbeat blog. I do not think it is time to be positive and upbeat. Yesterday on the news I watched as Alabama government employees wheeled away the 10 Commandments monument and stuffed it in a backroom. The enemies of God rejoiced over their victory as Christians lay on the floors and streets in protest of what was happening.
Flash back now to the Federal Government seizing the Indiana Baptist Temple property and hauling out its pastor on a stretcher. Flash back to Ruby Ridge and Waco. I am even old enough to flash back to the day they took prayer out of the Public Schools.

Where are the churches during all of this? Where is the outrage? Other than a small group of believers who are standing with Judge Moore, and now Doctor James Dobson, I fear there is no response. Either churches are now asleep with dead liberal theology and passivity or the fundamental churches are too busy being busy to realize that our nation is not just dying, she is dead to God.

Yesterday after watching this sad event on the television, I had to drive to town. I was on Abercorn Extension a main street in Savannah. There I witnessed another sad picture. A homeless young person was crossing the street. It was as if the Lord let me look closely into the face of that young man and realize that he was lost and in terrible darkness. Then I saw another man walking in a different direction. This man looked to be about 55-65 years old. He was also homeless. There was no life in his face. I only saw darkness and despair and emptiness. These two individuals are just an example of the darkness that has descended upon our nation.

This is where America is today. She is empty and full of despair and for the most part, she is lost.
We truly live in a matrix where the fairy tale world of prosperity and freedom is much easier to believe than the truth of our lost nation. For to believe the truth would mean that we have to do something about the problems. So, it is much easier to eat, drink and be merry. It is much easier to scream our brains out at the football "colliseum's", I mean stadium's. It is much easier to sit in our comfortable pews and hear putrid platitudes of how great we are rather than the fact that we are lost and blind and wretched and naked before God in our sin. It is much easier to shake our heads and do nothing but go on in our fantasy world.

God help us!

I have posted an article from World Net Daily written by Hal Lindsey. It is true and I really don't know the answer as long as Gods church refuses to be salt and light to a dying world. They would rather ordain homosexuals as bishops rather than stand for the truth of Gods word.

What is our grandchildren going to live through if Jesus tarries?

The controversy in Alabama over the display of the Ten Commandments in one of its courthouses has brought to light a deep schism in the very moral fabric of the American people.

The schism has been growing for some time. But this incident served to bring out into the open the rapidly accelerating departure from the morals and convictions of our founding fathers.

Little is known among our current generations of the conditions that drove our country's founders to take such terrible risks in order to flee the tyrannical governments of Europe. Nor do we understand the passions that drove them to sacrifice all to establish a new kind of nation – a nation founded on the proposition that only God can grant life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, not government.

Above all, most of the original founders of this nation were not fleeing from religion. They were almost all Christian. And even those who were not were God-fearing people with a respect for the Bible as God's Word.

What they were fleeing was a state mandated denomination of Christianity. This was at the core of why the First Amendment was written, which says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

When they wrote, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," they meant that the Congress should not establish the Catholics, the Baptists, the Presbyterians or the Episcopalians, etc., as the official State religion. Under no circumstances did they have in mind barring public expression of these various Christian religions. They most assuredly did not mean that quotes from the Bible should be excluded from all government buildings.

They had all seen the tyranny of state-mandated religion, and wanted to worship God as their consciences dictated. But they never meant to exclude public expressions of faith in God. That was a completely abnormal thought to them.

Now, lest you think I am pulling all of this out of the air, just read some of the quotes of our founders:

These statements clearly reveal the convictions of the authors of the Declaration of Independence, which begins:

(It is most important to note that these are the words of the man today's liberals claim established "the wall of separation" between church and state. These words put the lie to such assertions.)


One of the greatest patriots among the U.S. founders was Patrick Henry. He made it clear which religion the U.S. founders believed: "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians ! Our country was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

They all warned future Americans of the danger of forsaking the precepts on which our great nation was founded:

In view of these statements, did the framers of our Constitution intend to grant the government the right to bar public expressions of the Judeo-Christian faith from public places and government buildings? Let one of the main authors of the Constitution, James Madison, answer that: "No power over the freedom of religion is delegated to the United States by the Constitution."

One of the main reasons for the progressive moral disintegration of our country is because the citizens have not carefully watched over what is taught in our public schools. Our history has been completely revised and rewritten. Abraham Lincoln warned of the consequences of this: "The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will be the philosophy of the government of the next."

So did Benjamin Rush: "Let the children ... be carefully instructed in the principles and obligations of the Christian religion. This is the most essential part of education. The great enemy of the salvation of man, in my opinion, never invented a more effectual means of extirpating [removing] Christianity from the world than by persuading mankind that it was improper to read the Bible at schools.

The Bible records the tragedy that befell Israel when she forsook her God. I strongly believe that America is on the same road to destruction unless there is a major repentance among our people. Wake up Church, it is your cue to do what Jesus Christ called you to do.

What About It America!

Hello everybody,

Well I am finally back up and running. My new office and computer is set up and I am excited about getting the blog site going again. Tonight I am posting an email I received from Brother Ralph Davis of Springfield Georgia. Brother Ralph sends out an email outreach called The "Encouragement of the day".

Thanks Brother Ralph for this report. It seems like so many people these days do not want to be worried with the truth of what is happening to our beloved country. I just want to say that I am proud of Judge Moore in Alabama who has stood up to the evil in our country and said no. I finally believe that we do have some Daniel's and Davids and Joshua's waiting to stand for God and country. I hope you enjoy this post.
( You don't see the Republicans or the so called Conservative groups rallying around the Judge either). I pray that the Church of the Living God will finally awaken out of her slumber and support these hero's of the faith.

America the Beautiful or so you used to be'

Comment: I listened to James Dobson and Focus on the Family coming back to Savannah, from Jacksonville, Florida. The Christian Station was 88.1 from those of you in that area.



Mr. Dobson interrepted his normally scheduled Broadcast to speak on the subject of a possibly turning point using the 10 Commandments and Homosexuality. Both are God's rules for production: (1) Ten Commandments for production of good Christians, and if you happen to reading this and your don't know the Lord Jesus, it will make you a better individual. (2). Homosexuality below are some of the excerpts of the Special Broadcast:

1. Supreme Court strikes down the Texas sodomy law.

2. V. Gene Robinson of the Anglican Church of American (Episcipol), becoming a gay-

bishop.

3. Canada without the Canandian's population makes same-sex marriage legal. I wonder if

the Judge thinks that the Garden of Eden it was Adam and Steve?

4. Belguim, Holland, and Netherlands have already legalized same sex marriages.

5. New Hampshire has legalized same sex marriages.

6. If you think that the Terrorists of Afghanistan, and Iraq are a threat to the World, how

about the "Nation that turns away from God I will drive into Hell. Sodom and Gamorrah

to be where the Red Sea is now, 40 mile whole with brimstone all around it, I have seen

it with my own eyes for more the 75 miles is the black brimstone scattered all around from

that firey judgment day of Genesis chapters 19 and 26.

7. Show me a Country that is "blessed" and I will show you a Nation that is a believer in the

true and living God. Someone asked why is North America so blessed and South

America has so many natural resources, and yet is in poverty? Well the Spanish founded

South Americans for Gold, and the North Americans for God from the European

persecution of the true Christians.

8. If we Christians don't Pray but also take this to the highest positions in our Land then

we may continue have fires all over the U.S.A. and France well their Prime Minister had

to be callled home for his lack of concern for the 5,000 dead from the tripele digit heat. I

know all of Europe has been in the triple digit heat, but France and Germany are the

reasons for God's judgement.

9. Canada you are also being cursed by God it would seem as at this moment British

Columbia, is burning out of control. Get the Judge and your Prime Minister out with two

weapons PRAYER AND THE VOTING BOX.

10. And Senator Hillary Clinton calls the conservatives as the "Conservative Conspiracy, well

Mrs. Clinton it is the Liberal "Black Robes" appointed by your Husband that are causing,

the U.S. Courts to rule the way they are "93" plus of them were appointed by President

William Jefferson Clinton.

11. If this continues in America could I ask you who is that is going to change the "spiritual

tide" of first, the U.S.A. and then the World? Not another Nation!

12. Revelation 18 will tell you our doom and the end of the U.S.A. (Commercial Babylon) will

be judged by Almighty God for our ungodly works.



NOTE: What is it that we Christians do, well more than we are doing now, as it seem most of

of Us are glued to the TV while the Immoral Terrorist are eroding our Nation. Start with

2 Chronicles 7:14, "for the healing of our Nation!" then put all of Prayer into action by

calling your Congressman and the White House. Our President has already stated his

position I believe that a Marriage is a Man and Woman! Amen! Mr President we are

Praying for you, but really the battle is OURS with the Lord Jesus Christ fifghting with

Us in Pray and Love.



Look around the World and see than Nations that are witout Jesus Christ and I will show you an Nation without the Blessings of Almighty God!
