THOUGHTS FROM MY GRANDAUGHTER

Deuteronomy 11:19
And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Good Saturday morning to everyone. Do you sometimes have a day where just all of a sudden a blessing is sent your way? I am sure we all have had such a time in our lives. Well today was such a day for me.

My grandaughter Ashlyn sent me the email below and I was so touched by a 12 year olds insight that I had to post this to the blog site. I still believe we have hope if we can reach the children of this country with the truth and it seems that it is the hard times that drive us to protect them and teach them even more about their world, the truth and dangers.

Ashlyn just had surgery yesterday and is doing fine but she took time when she got home yesterday to send this to me. I hope you are blessed too.

Have a great weekend.

Elaine

Mema,

Send this to Laura, Ronnie, and anyone else you would like
to.Spread the truth about the world around us and the
changes that need to be done.
Thanks,
Ashlyn

Mary had a little lamb,

His fleece was white as snow.

And everywhere that Mary went,

The Lamb was sure to go.

He followed her to school each day,

T'wasn't even in the rule.

It made the children laugh and play,

To have a Lamb at school.

And then the rules all changed one day,

Illegal it became;

To bring the Lamb of God to school,

Or even speak His Name.! ;

Every day got worse and worse,

And days turned into years.

Instead of hearing children laugh,

We heard gun shots and tears.

What must we do to stop the crime,

That's in our schools today?

Let's let the Lamb come back to school,

And teach our kids to pray!

Thank you Ashlyn for being so smart and thoughtful.
I love you.

Mema
