Just When You Think You Have It All Figured Out!

Matthew 24:22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

There is a song I heard on one of the many video's that Bob and I watch. The words go like this:

"Just when you think you have it all figured out, Somebody changes the rules"!

Well with all of the cognitive dissonance going round, the rules are changing so fast that it makes my head swim. How about you? The roadmap, sodomy laws, the war, North Korea, The UN and on and on.

Well sure enough we can bet this is not just happening. Have you like me figured that one out? There is a master plan going on here and the key is to get the people so sick of all the chaos that they either don't know what to fight next or they lay down and give up. Have you felt that way lately?

Just look at what the Supreme Court has done to us. This ruling last week has opened up a Pandora's box. We have been sold out again! This time the great and mighty Supreme Court has gone against the majority and ruled for homosexuals and sodomy et cetera, et' cetera. The sad thing is that this ruling is not based on the Constitution but on the feelings of some politically correct judges. See the danger here? Why it won't be long before the Word of God is banned on Bill Boards like it was in Canada. Someone had the audacity to post a quote from Romans Chapter 1 and it "offended some poor person". The powers that be in Canada ruled that the Word of God had to go.

In reality, the Supreme Court has ruled against the Supreme God of the Universe and His Word once again. With this ruling, I believe the door has been opened for every type of filth and vileness to be made acceptable and protected under US Law. Along with the ruling comes another loss of protection from our Lord who calls this lifestyle an abomination! I believe that if we the people of this country do not rise up in outrage at what our political leaders and judges are doing, then soon we are all going to face the judgement of our Creator who blessed us in the first place with our great country.

Our scripture verse today tells us that one day it is going to be so bad that God himself has to intervene and shorten the days. He is going to do that for his elect and when he does the world will witness the worst time in it's history. However, he will save his elect out of what is coming. Praise the Lord! My one prayer is that he comes back soon to gather His church out of here! Perhaps it will be today!

P.S. Watch the developments on the Roadmap and Jerusalem. We are witnessing Bible Prophecy in action! What an exciting time to be a Christian!

God Bless

America's new Politburo

By Joseph Farah @ World Net Daily.Com

Why do we need state legislatures? Why do we need local elections?

To make laws reflecting the values and standards of sovereign states and diverse communities throughout America?

Nonsense.

We don't need them any more. The U.S. Supreme Court invalidated them last week. It determined that nine unelected men and women in black robes are wiser than the people. It determined, by a 6-3 vote, that all we need is a "living Constitution" that can only be interpreted by the all-knowing, all-seeing, semi-divine arbiters of right and wrong. It determined that lawmakers and representative government are irrelevant.

That's what the court did Thursday when, for all intents and purposes, it found hidden in the Constitution a new right – a right to practice homosexual sex.

The author of the majority opinion, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, said the Texas law struck down by the court "demeans the lives of homosexual persons."

"The state cannot demean their existence or control their destiny by making their private sexual conduct a crime," he wrote.

Oh, no? It may not have been the most sensibly crafted state law on the books, but to say laws about private sexual conduct are unconstitutional, the court, in effect, opened a sexual Pandora's box.

If there is a constitutional right to have homosexual sex, how can one deny there is a constitutional right to group sex? How can one deny there is a constitutional right to consensual incest? How can one deny there is a right to have sex with animals? How can one deny there is a constitutional right to polygamy?

You can't. There is no difference. And that's why there is no constitutional right to homosexual sex – or any other kind of sex for that matter. The word sex doesn't appear in the Constitution. It is a subject not addressed – which is, under the Constitution, precisely why it is a matter left to the various states.

But that's not the way it will be in America in the future. As of last week, we have a new reigning Politburo governing all of America. We have nine infallible, lifetime, unaccountable rulers who know better than the people, better than the states, better than the legislators.

Just 17 years ago, the Supreme Court ruled quite differently on the matter. Then, Chief Justice Warren Burger, hardly a social conservative, wrote "in constitutional terms there is no such thing as a fundamental right to commit homosexual sodomy."

"Decisions of individuals relating to homosexual conduct have been subject to state intervention throughout the history of Western Civilization," Burger wrote. "Condemnation of those practices is firmly rooted in Judeo-Christian moral and ethical standards."

He noted that Sir William Blackstone "described 'the infamous crime against nature' as an offense of 'deeper malignity' than rape, a heinous act 'the very mention of which is a disgrace to human nature,' and 'a crime not fit to be named.' To hold that the act of homosexual sodomy is somehow protected as a fundamental right would be to cast aside millennia of moral teaching."

That's right. And that's just what Burger's successors on the court did. They substituted political correctness for the Constitution. They substituted their feelings for the rule of law. They imposed their own personal convictions and sense of morality on an entire nation – and told the people to go jump in a lake.

This opinion bears striking resemblance to an earlier court decision still hotly debated 30 years later – Roe v. Wade. There, too, the justices acted as super-legislators rather than slaves of the Constitution.

As Justice Antonin Scalia explained it, the court "has taken sides in the culture war." He added, "The court has largely signed on to the so-called homosexual agenda."

Homosexual marriage? Homosexual adoption? How can the court say no? It's just a matter of time before all state laws prohibiting them are struck down using the same logic – or illogic – used by the current court.

Unless, of course, the Supreme Court is reconstituted with a majority of members who respect and honor the oaths they take to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Socialism By Any Other Name!

Well guys, my prediction is so far proving true. The Spineless Republicans are about to submit a Medicare Bill to the President that he has indicated he will sign. In order to get any bill passed on this issue and to be able to go home and boast to constituents, we are about to be handed the biggest piece of the Hillary Care Pie that nobody wanted when her husband was president. They will tout this
bill as something good and the American People will go on in their matrix type world smiling and thinking about how much our government cares about us.

I ask. Who do you think is going to pay for prescription drug benefits? You got it. The good old American taxpayer. You are about to be hit again and for the most part Americans will think this is simply another part of their "fair share"' Where did this thinking come from? Who said we had to pay for all of our neighbors medicines? What do we do when the poor middle class taxpayers cannot pay any more? I ask the government, "Isn't 40 to 60 % of the hard earned income in this country enough for you. I don't think so. Not this bunch in Washington who derives its power from the ability to tax the people with an unconstitutional graduated income tax.

For the new election, we will now hear how we were just "given" a tax cut. Hah! How many of you like Bob and I just got notice that our state and local taxes are going up? How many have had new assesments done on their property? How many of you have had an increase in your water bill? Garden City, Georgia just went up to 35.00 to 45.00 a month for water and garbage collection. I asked the lady at the City Hall how they expected the Senior Citizens on fixed incomes to pay for this. She stated she "did not know". So I wonder when the Fed will pass a Water Care Bill? Don't laugh. In New Zealand, the farmers are having to pay a head tax for every animal they own. It seems that they belch (shame on them) and this is harming the environment. The Kyoto Treaty has forced the New Zealand Government to levy this tax. Unbelievable!

Well read this article and remember that the fact is we are on the road to a Democratic Socialism in this country. This is the form of Government that the One Worlders want and they don't intend to loose. As for most Democrats and Republicans in the Congress, they are too busy playing the power game to give a care as to what their legislation is doing to America. So hold on to your wallets taxpayers. You are about to be hit again.

A 'Cure' That'll Make Things Worse

By Rebecca Hagelin

World Net Daily

To meet a deadline that means nothing, set only to satisfy a president who seems not to notice, the Senate is preparing to pass legislation that would make HillaryCare – the former first lady's proposal to socialize American medicine – look like sound public policy.

President Bush has said he will sign a measure to extend prescription-drug coverage to all seniors through Medicare – but the one making its way to his desk has Teddy Kennedy licking his chops and smiling like a Cheshire cat.

No one is saying seniors shouldn't have prescription-drug coverage. But in its rush to meet the artificial, arbitrary deadline imposed by Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., the Senate is poised to do "reform" in the worst way possible and that is to pass the largest and most disastrous expansion of social spending since the Great Society programs of the mid-1960s.

The early estimates are that the new drug benefit will cost taxpayers $7.5 trillion – read that, trillions. This benefit would, in reality, become an entitlement, which means that budgeting means nothing – that whatever it costs to fulfill this entitlement will be charged to the American taxpayer, no questions asked, forever and ever.

President Bush started off on the right foot in this debate. He proposed a system modeled on the Federal Employees Health Benefit Program, the highly successful, highly popular insurance program that covers members of Congress and their staffs, White House staffers and 9 million other federal employees, their beneficiaries and federal retirees.

FEHBP offers beneficiaries a variety of coverage plans, all of which offer prescription-drug coverage. The private-sector insurance companies would have to provide good service to attract customers and hold down costs to make a profit.

President Bush proposed to sweeten the drug benefit for those who left Medicare and entered these more-efficient private plans. But in recent days, in an effort to pass a bill – any bill – Frist and others in the Senate have agreed to strike this and make the benefit equal for those who remain in Medicare.

What would this mean? A good one to ask is Robert Moffit, my colleague at the Heritage Foundation and one of the nation's leading experts on health care, who just wrote a piercing diagnosis of the new legislation.

As Moffit reports, about a third of all seniors get their prescription-drug coverage through their employers or former employers. And nearly 40 percent of those seniors – their income levels notwithstanding – would shift from being covered by reasonably priced private insurance to a government-subsidized program that already is hemorrhaging cash.

Sen. Frist says he agreed to this compromise because he'd been told only about 2 percent of seniors would move into a private plan if President Bush's proposal were adopted. The White House says as many as 28 percent would take the offer. Common sense demands we take another look at the disparity in figures.

Privately run care is the secure future of Medicare. Almost everyone who studies the issue without an overwhelming bias in favor of big government agrees. Which makes the word from the White House to roll over – Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson has pronounced himself and the administration "pleased with the progress" of the bill – even more disappointing. The New York Times calls it "a tactical retreat." Bob Moffit calls it "a huge step backward from reform."

I call it capitulation for the sake of politics. Monday's Wall Street Journal editorial agrees, "President Bush, you'll recall, came to town promising to fix Medicare and Social Security so they would remain solvent when the Baby Boomers retire. But soon after launching the Medicare debate this year, the White House decided that the politics of a new drug entitlement are so good that the actual policy doesn't matter."

When a beloved president and otherwise principled congressional leaders support policies that expand government in a manner that only a liberal could love, the efforts must be vehemently opposed. This is one of those times. President Bush's advisers fail to recognize that such a tremendous disregard for his stated core values in exchange for some perceived political gain could actually do to him what reneging on the "no new taxes" pledge did to his father – de-couple him from his base and topple any chance of a second term.

In a recent CNN interview, Sen. Kennedy blatantly laid out his plan to use this Medicare proposal as the foundation for his plans to build even bigger health-care government: "But this is going to be a down payment. And one thing is going to be for sure. When we get this as a down payment, we're going to come back again and again and again and fight to make sure that we have a good program."

Conservatives who support the measure for political reasons are betraying the faith of the American public who elected them. Taking a little longer to solve the senior prescription problem correctly is the principled, right thing to do.

Good Thursday morning to everyone. Well our daughters wedding is history and it was beautiful. When I get the pictures going I will load one up so you can get a glimpse of our celebration. Now back to serious business.

The Temple Mount is the heart of the Conflict. Take a look at this picture from
The Temple Mount Faithful:

Endowed with a Pure Spirit by the Temple Mount

The Shekinah of G d which never left the Temple Mount shines from the Temple Mount on the Western Wall through a ‘window’ in the Wall. It does not physically exist and comes from the gate of Heaven which is on the Temple Mount.

The holiness of the Temple Mount is an eternal holiness. Even when the Temple did not exist on the mountain, the holiness of the place was not removed. The Sages said that all the abundant good which exists in the world comes via the Temple Mount. They also say that because of the holiness, to stand on the Mount or even to look at it endows one with the property of perfection, the holy spirit and holiness. This is the reason that G-d commanded Abraham to lift his eyes and look to Mt. Moriah. Then He told him to stand on the Temple Mount together with his son, Isaac. In this way he and his son would be endowed with very high spiritual values.

It is so sad that the Temple Mount, the most holy place in the world, has been desecrated by the nations. The Arabs built mosques on the holy hill of G-d and continue to do so with their shrines. The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is fighting to ensure the Temple Mount will no longer be desecrated and that the Israeli Government will remove the shrines and rebuild the Temple in our lifetime. We know that this will soon come about.

(Hear this message from the Lord to the world!)

Zechariah 12:9
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Are you watching Israel. Guys this is mushrooming into what could be the next event in prophecy and that is the rapture. Remember that we do not know the day or hour but we can know the times. It appears that President Bush is not quite sure which way to go with this new little problem.(Check out this Washington Post Article. The Bible states this will happen when another person or nation entangles themselves in Jerusalem and Gods Covenant Land! I am posting an article today from World Watch Daily and it will show you how determined the Muslim extremist are about driving out the Jews. Satan knows Gods Word and he knows his time is growing short and so he is bringing forth more and more violence and hatred to prevent prophecy from happening. Can you blame him? The Lake Of Fire is not a future I would like to think about either! What a day that will be to see his evil ended once and for all (AMEN)! Thank the Lord for his great salvation that he has given to all who trust in Him.

Hamas Warns Foreigners to Leave Israel

World Watch Daily- June 12, 2003

GAZA (Reuters) - The Palestinian militant group Hamas vowed on Thursday to carry out more attacks inside Israel following a bus bombing in Jerusalem and warned all foreigners to leave the Jewish state for their own safety.

Hamas had claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing near the city's main open-air market on Wednesday that killed 16 people, saying it was to avenge an Israeli assassination attempt against one of the Islamic faction's leaders.

"The Jerusalem attack is the beginning of a new series of revenge attacks... in which we will target every Zionist occupying our land," Hamas said in a statement faxed to Reuters. "We call on international citizens to leave the Zionist entity immediately to preserve their lives."

Hamas sources said the group was holding to its policy of not deliberately attacking foreigners. But Americans, Europeans and Asian guest laborers have been among those killed in its bombings during the 32-month-old Palestinian uprising for independence.

"We call upon all cells to work fast on an earthquake (news - web sites)-like response," the Hamas statement said. The group is pledged to the destruction of Israel and the creation of an Islamic state.

Will The Watchmen On The Wall Please Stand Up!

Ezekiel 8:18
Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

Good morning everyone.

Sorry I have not written in a while but our baby daughter is getting married tomorrow and I could not get to my computer long enough to post any of the new happenings in the world. Our world is really exciting right now with the wedding and all it requires. Pray for us and pray for Laura and Howard that the Lord will bless their marriage in a special way.

I just had to post this new article by Hal Lindsey. He lays on the line the seriousness of what we are watching occur in Israel right now. I am thrilled that there are preachers who are bold enough to cry out and spare not scriptural warnings from the Lord. Keep you eyes on the Holy Land because things are happening so fast over there now that it is truly amazing to witness it all.

God Bless

IF THE BLIND LEAD THE BLIND!

By Hal Lindsey

I am heartbroken over the latest stage of "the road map to peace." This "Odyssey to Holocaust" took its would-be enforcers to Sharm el Sheik, on the tip of the Sinai Peninsula.

I was sickened to watch a well-meaning, Christian American president talk incessantly about his vision for a Palestinian and Jewish state living side by side in peace. He seems to think that if he just says it enough, the Palestinians will repent of their religiously inspired passion to destroy the state of Israel. But the continued actions of the Muslim Palestinians show that there is no hope of that happening. It is simply impossible to undo the influence of a religion that is the extension of Ishmael and Esau's 4,000-year-old hatred of Isaac and Jacob. They are the forefathers of the Arabs and the Israelis.

The "road map to peace" is already a failure. President Bush's promise to call a Summit to launch the new quest for a Palestinian state was based on the following requirements:

Yasser Arafat was to be removed from the leadership of the Palestinian Authority;
the terrorist infrastructure was to be dismantled;
a free election of a new PA leader who was untainted by terrorism;
the PA was to begin steps toward democratization;
all incitement to violence and terrorism were to cease.
Every one of "these first steps" that were to be taken before the summit have not only been not done, but all blatantly continue as they were.

I believe that President Bush is the victim of terribly wrong advice. From the State Department and his Cabinet advisers he is continually fed the illusion that Islam is basically a religion of peace that is being hijacked by the actions of a few non-representative fanatics.

But George W. Bush's worst failure in understanding the true nature of the Muslim-Israeli Crisis is the fault of the Christian ministers who have instructed him since his salvation experience. He has apparently not been taught Bible prophecy – especially in its most important central theme, God's unconditional covenants with Israel.

God predicted through the prophet Ezekiel exactly what would happen in the days just before a final great war that will culminate with the coming of the Messiah.

God gave this forewarning to all the nations that geographically surround the state of Israel in the last days: "Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities, which have become a prey and a derision to the rest of the nations which are round about [i.e., all of the Muslim nations today], therefore, thus says the Lord God, 'Surely in the fire of My jealousy I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom [the Arabs], who appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and with scorn of soul, to drive it out for a prey'" (Ezekiel 36:4-5).

Note two things in particular in this prophecy. First, God calls the land His land. Second, this terrible warning of judgment is addressed to the nations that would live around the reborn-state of Israel in the last days that usurp His land.

It is most important to recognize that neither the Muslims, Palestinians nor Israelis own the land – God proclaims that He does. God then declares that He will give His land to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, even though they do not deserve it.

Weigh carefully this prophecy, "Therefore, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord God, 'It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went. And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,' declares the Lord God, 'when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight. For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols'" (Ezekiel 36:22-25).

Note well what this amazing prophecy that is over 2,650 years old says. At a time when the land would be reduced to an utter desolation, and the people of Israel would be scattered throughout the world among the nations, God will return them to their own land.

God specifies the precise reasons why the Israelites will not deserve to be restored to the land. Yet, because His great name is at stake, He will return the Israelites from all the nations to which they are scattered and cleanse them. God does this because He keeps His Word, even though He foreknew that Israel would miserably fail and not deserve it.

God has to keep His Word. He unconditionally swore to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He would give them the land of Israel forever. Here is just one example of God's oath to them, "Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for light by day, And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The Lord of hosts is His name: 'If this fixed order departs From before Me,' declares the Lord, 'Then the offspring of Israel also shall cease From being a nation before Me forever.' Thus says the Lord, 'If the heavens above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out below, Then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel For all that they have done,' declares the Lord" (Jeremiah 31:35-37).

In this prophecy, God not only promises that the Israelites would always exist, but that they would always be a nation before Him – in spite of anything they would do.

Ezekiel chapters 36 through 39 gives clear warning to all who would seek to prevent Israel from living in peace in the land God has given them. It predicts that the world will eventually be drawn into a global war because of this issue.

My great fear is that President Bush is ignorantly leading the United States into God's judgment. For God warns that He will judge all nations that have contributed to keeping Israel from living in the land He sovereignly gave them.

Revelation 13:16
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads

Hello everyone. Today I am excited about posting the Think About It article. Here is one more link in the chain of support for Biblical accuracy and the truth about Prophetic Scriptures. The Mark of the Beast! Some said it would never happen and yet the technology is here and ready to be implemented.

I remember once that my sister went into a bank to cash a check and became very upset when they finger printed her in order to honor the check. I was furious when I had to be finger printed to get my drivers license last year and in order to work for my local school system. For that job, I had to undergo a total fingerprinting of every finger ( I wonder when they will go to printing the toes too! Hmmmmm!). Well Verichip has created a chip that will be implanted in order to "protect " people. They cite all of the positive uses for this new device. However if you think about it, once chips are in people, then tracking will be universal. GTS's in the automobiles and Chips in the people. The Apostle John told us about this thing a long time ago. It was called a Mark and now this scripture is close to being fulfilled.

The only thing stopping world implementation is the appearance of "the man of sin" waiting, I believe, in the wings. One truth keeps all this from happening. The true church of the Lord Jesus Christ has to be raptured out of here and I don't believe that it will be long before this event occurs. Maybe Today! Are you ready?

Barcoding humans

The era of implanting people with identity chips is up on us

By Angela Swafford, Globe Correspondent, 5/20/2003

The Boston Globe

The painless procedure barely lasted 15 minutes. In his South Florida office, Dr. Harvey Kleiner applied a local anesthetic above the tricep of my right arm, then he inserted a thick needle deep under the skin.

''First we locate a prime spot,'' he said. ''The next thing is to release the button that triggers the injection mechanism, and that's it, the cargo's been delivered.''

The ''cargo'' was a half-inch-long microchip inside a glass and silicone cylinder that carries my permanent identification number. For an instant, I remembered the famous scene in the movie ''Fantastic Voyage'' in which a miniaturized Raquel Welch and her companions are inserted, submarine and all, into the vein of a patient. In my case, the tiny chip inside me can transmit personal information to anyone with a special handheld scanner.

Theoretically, this VeriChip will allow doctors to call up my medical records even if I'm too badly hurt to answer questions. It is also supposed to allow me to get money from an automatic teller machine by flashing my arm instead of punching in my PIN number. Or reassure airport security that I am a journalist, not a terrorist.

And, though the VeriChip strikes critics as Orwellian, its makers think the surgically implanted IDs could be the Social Security numbers of the future in a nervous world.

''I believe the day will come when most of us will have something similar to the VeriChip under our skin,'' said Scott Silverman, president of Florida-based Applied Digital Solutions. ''People will regard that its benefits -- in terms of financial, security, and health care -- far outweigh the possibility of loss of privacy.''

Right now, I am part of a very small club, the 18th person in the world -- and the first journalist -- to get ''chipped.'' Most of the others are ADS employees along with one Florida family who have been jokingly dubbed ''the Chipsons'' in a play on the old Jetsons cartoon.

The idea of a system that gives emergency workers and others immediate access to potentially lifesaving information is exactly what drew the Jacobs family of Boca Raton to the VeriChip. At the request of their 14-year-old son, Derek, the Jacobses got chipped last year.

''My husband has cancer and we've experienced the frustrating delays of trying to provide urgent medical history information every time he is rushed into the emergency room,'' says Leslie Jacobs.

Since the attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, she continues, ''we know that our lives are increasingly vulnerable. If we want increased safety, security, and peace of mind, we need to take positive steps. We've decided that having a VeriChip is one way to do just that.''

But critics see surveillance technology like the VeriChip as a growing threat, giving potentially dangerous new power to businesses and government alike. In a report issued in January by the American Civil Liberties Union, Jay Stanley and Barry Steinhardt warned that an explosion of technology has already created a ''surveillance monster.''

''Scarcely a month goes by in which we don't read about some new high-tech way to invade people's privacy, from face recognition to implantable microchips, data mining, DNA chips, and even `brain wave fingerprinting,' '' they wrote. ''The fact is there are no longer any technical barriers to the Big Brother regime portrayed by George Orwell [in his novel `1984'].''

The VeriChip is similar to the more than 25 million chips already embedded in animals all over the world acting as ''pet passports,'' allowing customs officials to monitor those animals that do not need to go into quarantine, or to identify your stray dog.

But, at least for now, the VeriChip does much less: it's mainly for demonstration purposes, carrying only an identification number and the capacity for about three paragraphs of information. Only 10 hospitals and doctors in Florida have the scanner to read the chips. And the Food and Drug Administration has not yet approved the chips for use in health care, so they cannot be used to access medical records.

However, ADS officials say this is just the beginning. They want to build a chip that can store loads of information, or act as the key to a central database that stores information about the user. Ultimately, the company hopes to be able to track the movement of people with chips worldwide using global positioning satellites.

The company is field testing its Personal Locator Device, or PLD, which ADS says could help track lost children, sick elderly family members, mountain climbers who get lost, or kidnap victims. Company officials say they have been inundated with requests from private companies in Latin America, especially Mexico and Colombia.

The PLD is still years away from wide use, according to Keith Bolton, ADS's chief of technologies. The working prototype is rather large -- 2 1/2 inches in diameter -- and would require major surgery for implantation (though it appears some Israeli secret service agents already carry something similar). It is powered by a pacemaker battery, and, just like in a Tom Clancy book, it would let anyone with access to the PLD system follow the wearer anytime, anywhere in the world, at the click of a mouse.

''The PLD would also monitor the vital signs of the wearer, and the environmental conditions around that person, and it could be a great way to protect a family member with a disease such as Alzheimer's,'' says Bolton.

Businesses already use technology to track their products around the world, but we should stop and think about the implications before starting a human tracking system, cautions Mohan Tanniru, professor of information systems at the University of Arizona.

''I am not going to put a chip on my kid thinking that she could be kidnapped,'' he says, ''unless I know the chip will be activated only if I report that my kid is lost. But how do I know that the police are only going to activate it when I say so, and not when they feel like it? You can't just say that technology is bad just because it is there. So it is a matter of deciding what trusting agency should be given that responsibility.''

Tanniru actually thinks that human tracking might be welcome in certain cases, such as following criminals on probation or making sure foreign nationals don't overstay their visas. In fact, Pro Tech Monitoring of Tampa already makes an externally worn tracking device for parolees that alerts authorities if the wearer enters a forbidden area, such as a school zone.

For ADS's Silverman, both the VeriChip and its future GPS-based version are a matter of individual choice.

''No one is forcing you to have a VeriChip. If you want a chip in your right arm you are going to know it is there because you will see it injected. When you look at the events of 9/11 and the way people measure their own personal security today versus the way they did a few years ago, there is a much higher concern to make sure that family members are safe and sound, and some people now put that above privacy rights.''

So far, ADS's technology gamble has not translated into profits. In 2002, ADS lost $112 million on revenues of $96 million, though this loss is significantly lower that that of the previous year.

As far as I am concerned, having a chip with a code in it is not giving me the chills. I think it would be nice to use it to get cash or pay for gas, and I wouldn't mind paramedics having access to my health records in the blink of an eye. Besides, I know it would never get lost. I did, however, have a few questions about its health hazards. So I asked Dr. Kleiner.

''The VeriChip is extremely safe,'' he says. ''Pacemakers are hundreds of times larger and more complicated and nobody has problems with them. To prevent the chip from migrating to another part of the body there is a little polymer at one end of the capsule that will adhere to the skin and hold it in place.

At his office, my arm was like a barcoded product at a supermarket cash register: It beeped every time the scanner prodded the chip. It worked even through my clothes. Displayed on the screen was a long number with many zeroes. For good or bad, I thought, this chip may be quietly heralding a time when people will literally have technology under the skin.

Note....... Tomorrow I will be posting some exciting news from Israel and the "Quartet"..

Have a blessed day.

Romans 11:33
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

Good Saturday Morning.

Today I hope the post will bless you as much as it has me. Yesterday morning I was touched by an email sent to me by a friend. Rev. Ralph Davis sends out a group emailing throughout the world named, The Encouragement Of The Day. Brother Ralph is a pastor and owns the local Southern Gospel Radio Station in Effingham County. I know when any of us send out encouragements to others we never know who is in need of it for that day and yesterday was a day that I needed to hear what he wrote.

When we look at all that is going on around us, we realize that it will take the Lord to straighten this old world out. When we look back at history and how God intervened, we can gain assurance that He Still Reigns! Brother Ralph shares some of these divine interventions in his writings and once again reminds us of this truth.

God will have the final say in world events and He will take care of His children. I am reminded of His greatness in the song, How Big Is God.
The words say that He is big enough to build a mighty universe and yet small enough to live within our hearts. Think about it! I pray that He is living in your heart today and if not all you have to do is ask him and he will.

Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Encouragement of the Day.

SPECIAL EDITION

Someone ask me yesterday if some of the Scriptures in the Bible are
repeated over and over again. My answer is YES and this below is Jeremiah
50-51, and I am not giving you the last time these Chapters will be used.
They have been used at least three times in History, and of course I have
missed other times, but in case someone might not know; "I AM HUMAN!"

I am reminded of the WWII Pilot that saw the Angels flying all around
his Aircraft during the Invasion of Normandy and the Lady in the World
Trade Center who cried out to God for help. She found an oxygen mask on her
face and discovered that she was being carried down 83 flights of stairs. Then,
the Gentleman (Angel) said I am going to lay you over here where no debris will fall on you.
She opened her eyes, and to her amazement she was being carried, but there was
no one to see with her human eyes! She said, "Thank You Lord Jesus for you
watch care!

When 50,000 of our American boys were out in the middle of the Iraqi
desert a few weeks ago a DIVINE WIND blew across the desert for three
days followed by a drenching rain.
The Muslim media said it was the worst sand storm in 100 years, and the
Mullahs in 20+ Muslim countries proclaimed that the storm was sent by
Allah when our troops were bogged down and couldn't move.

The left-wing media [CNN, CBS, MSNBC & ABC, the New York Times, The
Chicago Tribune/L. A. Times and lots of others] trotted out politicians
and military experts that proclaimed we were in a "quagmire" and they
all made dire predictions of gloom and doom. What they didn't report
[all except for Fox News and many smaller regional and hometown
newspapers] was that after the weather cleared, the Marine group that
was mired the worst looked out at the plain they were just about to
cross.

What did they see?
Thousands upon thousands of anti-tank and anti-personnel mines that had
been uncovered by the wind and then washed off by the rain. If they had
proceeded as planned, many American lives would have been lost. As it
was, they simply drove around them and let the demolition teams destroy
them.

Yes, it was a DIVINE WIND!

When George Washington was asked if he thought God was on his side, he
replied: "It is not that God should be on our side, but that we be on
His."

May I remind you that General George Washington (Mr. White Hair, as
called by the Indians) was shot by a sharp-shooting Indian Chief. God's Man,
General Washington, had 7 holes in his front attire and back attire yet
no bullet holes in his heart where the bullets should have penetrated!

In Christian Love,

Ralph E. Davis

"Oh, What a Mighty God is our Lord Jesus Christ!"

Thanks again Brother Ralph for all you do for Jesus!

"A man may have to die for our country: but no man must, in any exclusive sense, live for his country. He who surrenders himself without reservation to the temporal claims of a nation, or a party, or a class is rendering to Caesar that which, of all things, most emphatically belongs to God: himself." --C.S. Lewis

Good morning everyone!

Today I have found an article that says everything I think about what is happening in our government. With all of the Patriotism running high these days, it has been almost impossible to say anything about our government without being criticized. However in this article posted at Hal Lindsey's site, Oracle, Brian Dotzler verbalizes exactly what many have been saying for many years. The behavior by the Democrats right now ought to sicken every American but no hue and cry is going out. The call for tax cuts are being ignored and a defiant Congress that has grown fat with the taxpayers money refuses to give back the people's hard earned money that I might add has been extorted from them through unconstitutional laws. People such as Gene Chapman are screaming out for answers but IRS and our wonderful Government of the People will not answer. To read about his death fast go to: One Mans Fight For Answers. Don't let Gene's "Ghandi" like appearance fool you. He is a born again Christian who loves the Lord. He is the third person who has gone on this fast til death and due to publicity, the government promised answers to the last two who ended their fast but never received the answers.

In this article, Brian Dotzler hits two of the nails right on the head. One reason we are in this mess is because we are a nation where the people at the government feeding troughs outnumber the people (taxpayers) who are footing the bills. Secondly, the national debt has made us slaves to the Federal Reserve which is a private corporation controlled by a syndicate of millionaire banksters who want to rule the world and with their control, now own all the money and the politicians ( you won't see them admit that to Dan Rather)! Just watch one of our Senators or House Members run against anything the Money Changers want and you will very soon see them destroyed politically.

The only question I ask is, Will the people ever wake up? The answer is, not unless they want too! At this time it appears that they do not want to really see what has happened to us or our great country. The status quo is more comfortable. If Ben Franklin and George Washington and John Adams and the rest had been of this mind, we would still be paying taxes to England and singing, God Save The Queen.

God Bless
Elaine Moreland

It’s not the Economy, Stupid; It’s the Government

It was bad enough trying to get unbiased information during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Politicians told us only what they wanted us to hear and most media outlets were more concerned with pushing a political agenda than they were in reporting the truth. Of course, the truth is of little importance these days since opinions are so much easier to defend.

And now, with the return of our soldiers from the Middle East, comes the heated debate over tax-cuts and America’s economic situation. But just how serious is this problem?

Like the truth, the economic situation in America is relative to whom it is that has a podium; it’s more a matter of opinion than a fact.

For instance, some politicians argue against tax-cuts for the simple reason that America’s budget can not afford it right now. They feel that the budget has been stretched too thin due to the war in Iraq and that right now is simply the wrong time to return tax dollars to the taxpayers.

On the surface, such an argument makes sense; it sounds responsible. However, there is a fundamental problem with this mentality: it is based on opinion.

So what is the truth? Are tax-cuts warranted or just a bad idea?

Before making such a decision, it might be wise to look at the Federal Government’s 2002 Annual Report and see exactly how much our government is spending and where our money is going.

In 2002, taxpayers spent nearly $310 billion dollars on defense, comprising 13.5% of the federal budget. Defense spending increases 7% from FY 2001 to 2002. One would think that, in the post 9-11 era, defense spending would be the big winner when it comes to government spending, but such is not the case.

Social programs paints another story. Last year the government spent nearly $1.4 trillion on the following programs: National Endowment for the Arts and Humanities; Departments of Agriculture, Education, Housing & Urban Development; National Labor Relations Board; EEOC; and the list goes on. (It might be helpful to point out the $2.75 million for the United Nations, the $2.5 billion in subsidies to the U.S. steel industry, and the $800,000 for … (get this) … THE GRAMMY FOUNDATION. Tragically, spending on social programs increased 9% from FY 2001 to 2002.

But not to be outdone is the huge chunk of cash being paid to … “no one.” That’s right; “no one” received 14% of this country’s budget in 2002, a whopping $333 billion!

You may be asking, “Who is this no good “no one” and why are we as a nation paying him so much “Johnny” (cash, that is)?

Well, “no one” is the interest we pay on the national debt, a debt that currently sits at close to $6.5 trillion. That’s quite a bit of “Robert” (dinero) to shell out with no services rendered.

So, what should we do? Whose plan is better, the conservative or the liberal? Should taxes be cut, increased, or just remain the same? Before coming to that conclusion, ask yourself a few more questions.

Is it true that tax-cuts can create jobs, lower unemployment, and spur the economy? Or is the opposite true, that only by increasing taxes can we fix the “sluggish” economy. (By the way, what exactly is it that determines a sluggish economy? Either the economy is growing at a desired rate, or it is not. Why not just say that the economy is growing slightly slower than we would like it to?)

Regardless of your political affiliation or economic background, it should be crystal clear that the government is ignorant when it comes to fiscal policy. The mere fact that in 2002 military spending increased at a slower rate (7%) than social spending (9%) is a colossal example of the government’s inability to control itself. Shouldn’t defense spending have grown at a greater rate since we are facing an enemy here at home, an enemy that has infiltrated our borders and has proven to strike with extreme prejudice? And what about the social programs, why are they growing at a faster rate than the economy?!

Speaking of social programs and all that is spent on them, are our children getting better educated? Are welfare recipients getting jobs? Is the unemployment rate falling? Are all medically uninsured children now insured? With all these tax dollars going to solve the ills of society, one can only assume that something must be improving. But in reality, nothing has improved; nothing has changed (except the amount of money being spent). The government hasn’t fixed anything. It never has and it never will. (History, my friends…read your history.)

About the only thing our government has had great success implementing is a competent military. Without question our Armed Forces have risen to the challenge time and time again without hesitation. Even when under-paid, poorly-fed, and greatly neglected (Valley Forge), the military has never despaired. It simply follows orders and marches ahead.

Yet when it comes to financing our soldiers, we have our priorities completely mixed up. How is it possible that the interest on our national debt comprises more than our defense budget? But an even bigger crime is the social spending.

As stated earlier, the social spending programs dwarf all others, yet produce almost nothing. (Some even argue that they produce less than nothing).

However, the military has been a giant success. Even with the mediocre (if not small) paychecks, military personnel (and their families) can live comfortably. They have health care, dental, housing, and incredible educational opportunities. As a matter of fact, you would be hard-pressed to find any type of educational incentives that can compete with the military’s G.I. Bill, College Loan Repayment Plan, and ROTC Programs. The billions of dollars wasted each year by the Department of Education would go much further as incentive programs for military personnel and their families instead of being thrown into the bureaucratic windstorm that succeeds in spending too much money on absolutely nothing.

The irony in all of this is that the many benefits the military successfully implements (medical, dental, housing, education, etc) are the same types of programs the federal government fails to make work. (But that’s another story.)

When it comes to government spending, how much bang are Americans getting for their buck? Is the money reaping any benefits, or is it going in someone’s pocket that didn’t earn it, doesn’t need it, and refuses to return it?

The government has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it has no willingness to spend our money responsibly, it ignores all the financial principles that govern business and industry, and continues to bleed the taxpayer regardless of his income or situation.

Whether or not tax-cuts can stimulate the economy is irrelevant. That issue has no bearing on what this nation’s fiscal policy should be. While it is true that a large segment of the population believes social programs are a necessity, history proves these programs as utter failures; they simply cannot work because they lack accountability and competition.

Whoever coined the phrase, “It’s the economy, stupid” obviously failed to look at all the facts. Someone needs to tap that fella on the shoulder and whisper, “Hey stupid, it’s the spending.”
